America: Child stars start with The Shining

Why did Jennifer Aniston become the front-line manager of Wah Mei Records?

This story begins a few days ago when the two exchanged business cards on Broadway.

After that day, Aniston was deeply impressed by Charles.

After all, it was the first time she had ever seen someone so young land the lead role in a Broadway musical, and yet remain so calm about it.

It's simply unbelievable.

If it were her, even if she were only chosen as the lead actress on Broadway once, she would probably be eager to announce it to the world.

Fortunately, Aniston eventually passed the audition and landed a supporting role in "Oliver Twist," becoming Shire's colleague.

She was a student at a drama school in Los Angeles, and she worked part-time while shuttling between the school and Broadway to attend auditions.

It was also around this time that Xia Er, after establishing Huamei Records, was busy recruiting talent.

So he thought of Aniston and contacted her.

Then, Aniston naturally became the temporary front desk for Wah Mei Records.

This job is quite easy.

After all, Huamei Records has only just been established, and not many people have been actively seeking them out yet.

Therefore, she doesn't need to work every day; she only needs to come over occasionally to help out, like on occasions like today.

Jennifer Aniston stood beside Charles and couldn't help but glance at him, a hint of gratitude in her eyes.

If it weren't for Charles, she would probably still be doing dirty and tiring jobs in some small restaurants.

Moreover, that kind of job doesn't make it convenient for her to take time off.

After all, she could receive an audition notice at any time and then immediately rush to Broadway for the interview.

Therefore, the job that Charles arranged for her was almost perfect for her at this point.

Thinking of this, Aniston looked at Charles sitting in the chair, and seeing the somewhat helpless expression on his face, she smiled and said:

"Then I must thank you for giving me this job, boss."

"I will definitely work hard."

After saying that, she winked at Charles.

This expression, combined with her professional attire and her bright and beautiful face, made her even more striking.

hiss......

All I can say is that its destructive power is indeed enormous.

Ovitz, standing nearby, was momentarily stunned by what he saw.

Seeing this, Charles coughed awkwardly a few times and said:

"Alright, alright, there's nothing else I need your help with here for now, Miss Aniston. Please get back to your work."

Aniston gave him an annoyed look, then turned and left, closing the conference room door behind her.

Charles watched her departing figure and couldn't help but sigh.

He didn't really think that much when he recruited Aniston.

It was simply because Huamei Records had just been established, and he happened to need to hire a receptionist.

After all, for a record company, the receptionist position is essentially the face of the company.

Therefore, after thinking it over, he suddenly remembered Aniston, whom he had met on Broadway a few days earlier.

During that conversation, he learned that the other person was working part-time to support themselves and that their situation was not very comfortable.

So he simply went all out and recruited Aniston into his company.

In this way, the other party can have a relatively easy job that makes it convenient to take leave, and can also stay in their own company in a reasonable way.

When there's a real opportunity to film a TV series in the future, wouldn't it be easy to sign her?

Moreover, he wants to have the future queen of American TV dramas as his employee, taking orders from him...

Such opportunities are rare.

That's killing two birds with one stone!

Thinking of this, Charles leaned back leisurely in his chair, a slight smile creeping onto his lips, and his mood became very pleasant.

Soon, Huamei Records will produce AC/DC's first album, get them on track, and then break into the American record market.

This is Huamei Records' first appearance, and it's going to be a tough battle.

But the more so, the more beautifully it must be done.

Ideally, their debut would be stunning, instantly establishing a resounding reputation for Huamei Records.

Rock music listeners have always had discerning tastes and are extremely picky about music.

But this also means that once you truly win their favor, the group will be very loyal.

Charles was very confident about "Back in Black".

With proper refinement, it could absolutely shake up the entire rock music market.

Therefore, there are still many things to prepare for, and every step must be done properly.

......

With the Huamei Records matter put on hold for now, Charles returned to Broadway once again.

Today is rehearsal day for "Oliver Twist".

As soon as he entered the theater, he ran into a familiar face.

When Leonardo DiCaprio saw Charles, his eyes lit up, and he immediately rushed over to greet him happily.

"Ciel, what are you doing here!"

He happened to be on Broadway preparing for his performance tonight, and he never expected to run into Charles here.

He hadn't seen the other person in a long time.

With the help of Charles and Ovitz, Leonardo DiCaprio was successfully cast in a supporting role in Peter Pan, and he has been spending almost every day at the Broadway theater, keeping himself extremely busy.

Now, the play has been touring for some time and is almost over.

After this period of intense touring, Leonardo DiCaprio's acting skills have been honed considerably.

If we let him audition for a movie now, he might actually have a chance to be selected.

At least it won't be as bad as before.

Charles smiled, walked up to Leonardo DiCaprio, and said:

"I came here today to attend the rehearsal of 'Oliver Twist,' and I didn't expect to run into you here."

Leonardo DiCaprio was visibly taken aback when he heard this.

He's heard a lot about "Oliver Twist" lately.

After all, this is a classic Broadway musical, and it's about to be rehearsed again, so it's naturally causing quite a stir.

This show has always been a huge hit and extremely popular on Broadway.

After the news spread, many Broadway actors were attracted to the project.

If they could make an appearance in this classic play, it would definitely be a great help to their careers.

Even the child actors who co-starred with Leonardo DiCaprio in "Peter Pan" went to audition for "Oliver Twist".

They are very confident in their acting skills, and having accumulated experience from a musical, they naturally have a greater advantage than others.

However, without exception, they all failed to be selected.

This shows just how rigorous the casting process was for this musical.

But to Leonardo DiCaprio's great surprise, under such brutal selection requirements...

Ciel was actually chosen?!

Leonardo DiCaprio looked Charles up and down, his expression suddenly becoming very complicated.
