It was supposed to be a Mythic card set, but what the heck is this Warhammer 40k?

The next morning.

Lu Ya was awakened from his sleep by a ringing telephone.

He picked up his phone and saw that it was only six o'clock. The person who called was none other than Yang Feng.

Lu Ya rubbed his sleepy eyes and groggily answered the phone: "Hey, Lao Yang, what's up? Why are you calling so early?"

As Lu Ya finished speaking, Yang Feng's excited voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Awesome, Brother Lu, you were absolutely right."

"Just now, the Card Master Alliance issued a notice that the evil card master has been executed on the spot, and the problem of the Peach Blossom Village secret realm going out of control is also being addressed."

"The price of bizarre-type material cards on the market has practically halved!"

Lu Ya was not surprised at all by this news.

He knew very well that the skyrocketing prices of bizarre material cards were due to artificial speculation.

Now that the evil card master has died, the bubble has burst, and it's normal for prices to be halved.

However, just to be on the safe side, Lu Ya still asked, "Old Yang, you didn't go and hoard material cards, did you?"

Yang Feng replied with a grin, "Don't worry, Brother Lu, since you said so, why would I be foolish enough to hoard material cards?"

"Moreover, not only did I not hoard it, I also sold the [mourning stick] you gave me for 38,000."

"I plan to wait until the price of the resource card drops a bit before buying it back."

Upon hearing Yang Feng's words, Lu Ya's expression immediately turned strange.

He never expected that Yang Feng would have such a business mind.

Yang Feng paused, then asked mysteriously, "Brother Lu, how did you know that the Evil Card Master was dead?"

It should be noted that Yang Feng's sister, Yang Yue, is a card master in the Card Master Alliance. Even Yang Yue was completely unaware of the death of the evil card master, while Lu Ya knew everything.

This made Yang Feng curious about Lu Ya's source of information.

When Yang Feng asked him about it, Lu Ya started making things up: "That's easy, I dreamed about it."

Yang Feng pursed his lips after hearing Lu Ya's answer.

Yang Feng wasn't stupid; naturally, he wouldn't believe such a ridiculous reason.

But precisely because he wasn't stupid, he knew that Lu Ya wasn't willing to reveal too much information about this matter, so he didn't press the matter further.

After all, it would be impolite to ask any further questions.

After hanging up the phone, Yang Feng reopened the chat software and opened the chat interface with "AAA Material Manager Wang".

Yang Feng quickly sent a message to the other party: "Dude, are you still there?"

After waiting for more than ten minutes, the other party finally sent a few words: "You came to see me make a fool of myself, didn't you?"

It's clear that this Mr. Wang is filled with resentment at this moment.

After all, it would be frustrating for anyone to have all the material cards they spent a lot of money to acquire stuck with unsold stock.

Yang Feng quickly explained, "How could that be? I'm here to buy material cards from you."

Upon seeing the message from Yang Feng, the other party's tone and attitude immediately changed: "Really? You really want to buy material cards? Bro, what kind of material cards do you want? Just tell me."

Yang Feng replied, "I'll offer eight thousand for that blue material card I sold you yesterday. Will you sell it?"

Upon hearing this, Mr. Wang immediately became furious: "No way, I can't sell it! I just bought it from you yesterday for 38,000 yuan, and you want to buy it back for 8,000 yuan today? You're dreaming!"

Yang Feng wasn't angry about this. He calmly replied, "Think about it. After all, this is the market situation right now. If you don't sell, there are plenty of others who will."

This is exactly what President Wang said yesterday, and it's been returned verbatim.

Mr. Wang immediately deflated like a punctured balloon; he knew very well that Yang Feng was telling the truth.

Right now, everyone outside is dumping material cards, which means that the price of material cards will continue to fall.

Before long, those resource cards will probably be worth six or seven thousand.

Finally, after several minutes of hesitation and deliberation, Mr. Wang replied listlessly, "Fine, eight thousand it is!"

.......

Meanwhile, on Lu Ya's side...

After being woken up by Yang Feng's phone call, Lu Ya's drowsiness had completely dissipated.

After getting up and quickly washing up, he went downstairs to buy breakfast.

Arriving at a breakfast shop, Lu Ya ordered a bowl of rice noodles.

After the noodles were served, he ate his breakfast while opening the Lingjiang University forum to check out what was going on there.

Unsurprisingly, the entire forum was already in an uproar.

Especially under the post by Little Gummy Bear, a group of people were wailing and lamenting.

"@Little Gummy Bear, come out here! Didn't you say the price of the resource cards would increase? Give me an explanation!"

"You deserve to die, Gummy Bear! I borrowed over 100,000 yuan worth of material cards to stockpile, and now they're worthless!"

"Don't panic, everyone stay calm. This is a technical adjustment. You must have confidence. I believe the price of material cards will rebound as long as you stay calm."

"Confident my ass! Don't you read the news? The Card Master Alliance already issued a statement today: the evil card master has been executed on the spot, the chaos in the secret realm is being dealt with, and the material cards have completely collapsed!"

"Mom, I don't want to play anymore, I want to get off the bus, give me my money back!"...

Seeing a group of people throwing tantrums and wailing under the post, Lu Ya shook his head.

Gamblers don't deserve any sympathy.

Just as Lu Ya was browsing the forum, his phone rang again.

However, this time the caller was not Yang Feng, but Zhou Qian.

Lu Ya answered the phone, and Zhou Qian's voice came from the other end: "When are you planning to come over today?"

Without thinking, Lu Ya replied, "I'm having breakfast now. I'll come over as soon as I finish."

However, Zhou Qian said, "How about this, I've already sent someone to pick you up, you can just come directly with her."

Lu Ya was somewhat surprised: "Is it that urgent? It's just starting work, is there any need to rush?"

Zhou Qian said with a smile, "Don't forget, you're still just a trainee card maker."

"According to the rules of the Card Master Alliance, one must be at least a Bronze-level Card Master to be eligible for a temporary position."

"So, before you can officially join the company, you'll have to take an assessment organized by the Card Master Alliance to get rid of the 'trainee' label."

After Zhou Qian pointed it out, Lu Ya realized that he had not yet been certified by the Card Master Alliance.

Lu Ya quickly finished the noodles in his bowl: "Alright, when are your people coming?"

Zhou Qian spoke again, "She's almost there."
