It was supposed to be a Mythic card set, but what the heck is this Warhammer 40k?

To be honest, it was only after seeing the message from his homeroom teacher, Mr. Qian, that Lu Ya suddenly realized that the semester had passed by without him even noticing.

He will soon face the final exams of this semester.

Although Lingjiang University has a very loose management system for students majoring in Card Mastery, it can even be described as laissez-faire management.

But this doesn't mean that students can have an easy time.

On the contrary, most students are so busy every day learning card-making knowledge and practicing card production that they are completely overwhelmed.

Except for a few, such as Lu Ya.

The reason is quite simple: Lingjiang University has very strict requirements for the assessment of students majoring in card making.

Typically, the teacher leads the team to the secret realm for practical combat.

Each student has only one chance to take the exam. If they fail, they must retake the exam. If they fail the retake, they will have to repeat the year.

This is not uncommon; every year, students at Lingjiang University face the prospect of repeating a year.

Moreover, if a student chooses to cheat in order to pass the exam, the consequence of being caught is expulsion.

Therefore, this is why most students dare not slack off even a little bit.

After the homeroom teacher, Lao Qian, sent out this message, the entire class group chat was filled with lamentations, and many students begged the teacher for some inside information.

"Teacher, Cai Cai, let's make some 'fish'!"

"Teacher, could you give me a little hint about what the final exam will be about? I don't want to have to retake it!"

"Yes, teacher, you wouldn't want your students to have to repeat a grade and have to retake the exam, would you?"

.........

As expected, even the homeroom teacher, Mr. Qian, couldn't handle the students' flood of pleas on social media.

He sent another message in the class group: "Alright, alright, since you've all said that, I'll give you a little inside information."

"The location for this final exam is the Evil Spirit Realm, so you'd better get ready."

Upon seeing the message Lao Qian posted in the class group, Lu Ya couldn't help but ponder.

Evil Spirit Realm?

He had heard of this secret realm before; it was said that the strange creatures in this realm mainly existed in the form of a special kind of spirit.

These evil spirits are immune to most physical attacks, and only certain special attack methods can defeat them.

Thinking back to this, Lu Ya couldn't help but grin.

Immune to physical attacks can only be overcome by special means.

What kind of disgusting and bizarre mechanism is this?!

Although Lu Ya currently has two powerful cards in his hand: [The Lamenter] and [Blood Raven].

However, neither the [Wailer] nor the [Blood Raven] possesses any unique attack methods.

When dealing with physical monsters, it is indeed possible to easily push them aside.

However, when faced with evil spirits that have no physical form, they seem somewhat powerless!

This also made Lu Ya feel a little tricky.

It seems I really need to prepare for this final exam.

Otherwise, they might really capsize in a ditch.

Lu Ya took a deep breath and sorted out his jumbled thoughts.

He then closed the class chat group and opened the chat interface with Yang Feng.

Lu Ya sent a message to Yang Feng.

"Old Yang, did you see the message in the class group chat?"

Yang Feng replied almost instantly.

"I see, it's just the final exam."

To Lu Ya's surprise, Yang Feng's tone was very calm, as if he were describing a trivial matter.

Lu Ya was originally worried about whether Yang Feng could pass the final exam, but after seeing Yang Feng's tone, Lu Ya felt that his worries seemed a bit unnecessary.

So Lu Ya continued, "From what you're saying, you seem quite confident?"

Yang Feng chuckled, "Of course! Brother Lu, you really think I haven't done anything all this time?"

As Yang Feng spoke, he sent Lu Ya a photo.

The photo shows a card with an image of a ghost dressed in black, holding an iron chain in one hand and a mourning staff in the other.

The Soul-Hooking Ghost

[Quality: Blue]

【Star Rating: ★★★】

[Card Type: Summon]

Category: Ghosts/Deities

characteristic:

[Ghost Messenger: The Soul-Hooking Ghost Messenger has a natural suppressive effect against spirit-type enemy units.]

skill:

[Soul Snatcher: The ghost messenger swings his iron chain, imprisoning enemy units upon impact and having a small chance to drag them out of his body.]

[Soul Strike: The ghost messenger swings his mourning staff, dealing physical and mental damage to the enemy, and has a certain probability of inducing mental confusion.]

......

"Good heavens!"

Upon seeing Yang Feng's card, Lu Ya finally understood.

No wonder Yang Feng was so confident and not worried about the final exam at all; it turns out he had such a trump card up his sleeve.

Most importantly, Yang Feng's [Soul-Hooking Ghost Messenger] is a natural nemesis of these kinds of evil spirits and monsters.

This led Yang Feng into the Evil Spirit Secret Realm, which is tantamount to a wolf entering a flock of sheep.

Yang Feng then sent a message with a grin: "How is it, Brother Lu? This card is pretty good, right?"

"I've been at home researching how to make this card for a while now, and I've finally finished it."

Hearing Yang Feng's words, Lu Ya nodded: "That's certainly possible."

Although it's only a three-star blue card, it's more than enough to handle this final exam.

Yang Feng then sent a message saying, "Brother Lu, I've made up my mind. After the final exams, I'm going on a trip during the summer vacation. Do you want to come along, Brother Lu?"

After a moment's thought, Lu Ya replied to Yang Feng's invitation, "Forget it, let's talk about these things after the final exams."

"Don't make any promises too soon, or you might fail your final exams."

However, Yang Feng didn't take it seriously. He said casually, "Brother Lu, you underestimate me. If even I can't pass, then more than half of the class will fail this time."

Lu Ya scratched his head, but did not offer any rebuttal.

After all, what Yang Feng said was indeed correct.

If even Yang Feng can't pass this final exam, then most of the students in the class will probably fail.

After ending his chat with Yang Feng, Lu Ya put down his phone and began to think seriously.

Actually, rather than worrying about Yang Feng, Lu Ya should be more concerned about how he will pass this final exam.

Considering the existence of evil spirits, which possess unique mechanisms, Lu Ya's [Wailer] and [Blood Raven] will definitely not be of much use in this final exam.

Therefore, what he urgently needs now is a card with a special attack method that can directly kill evil spirits!
