Chapter 13 [13] Hunting Sea Beasts, Conflicts Arise

The captain's cabin was mostly damaged, but a dim light filled it, preventing outsiders from peeping in.

My heart was beating more and more rapidly, and the intense pain felt like it was tearing my chest apart.

The wizard Tuta sat on the only intact sofa, silently enduring the side effects of taking the extraordinary potion.

The slightly weakened spiritual energy spread throughout the interior of the wizard ship, causing damage and destruction that exceeded what Wizard Tuta had anticipated.

The power and navigation systems are functioning well, allowing them to reach the Dark Wizard Academy within a reasonable timeframe.

The problem is that the automated restaurants that sustained them were no longer usable, and the integrated hunting and food preparation facilities were completely destroyed.

Wizard Tuta frowned. There were 30 surviving new wizards, and these new wizards required a lot of energy.

He cannot leave this room now, as the dim light is both the effect of the witchcraft he released and the precious healing resources he used at the cost of his life force.

It will take at least two months to heal the injuries.

These new wizards are capable of surviving last night's events.

He's going to change the rules on the wizard ship!

The corridor was filled with a strong stench. Most of the new wizards had gone back to wash up, but Wang Ya was still on the deck when he heard a familiar loud voice from behind him.

Wang Ya was about to say something when he frowned slightly and looked towards the captain's cabin.

Gray also looked surprised.

It was Wizard Tuta, conveying a message that caused every new wizard to change their expression drastically.

"Starting today, while the existing rules remain unchanged, a new rule for food acquisition will be added: the wizard ship will be anchored for a period of time, and all new wizards will go out to sea to hunt sea monsters as food resources. Each new wizard must hunt a certain number of sea monsters, and the distribution of food obtained will be directly related to this number."

They actually wanted to go into the sea themselves to hunt sea monsters, which wasn't the case before.

"How could Wizard Tuta make such a decision? The Endless Sea is so dangerous; who knows what kind of sea monsters might exist there?"

"Yeah, the automated restaurant can produce food all the time, so why do we have to go down and hunt sea monsters? We're wizards, not laborers."

The group of new wizards immediately began to complain.

The previous rules of order prohibited deaths and serious injuries on wizard ships.

"What if the automated restaurant's food-producing function is damaged?" a wise and calm new wizard asked.

Many new wizards immediately shut up, still vivid in their minds what happened last night.

The endless and profound darkness, the rampaging thorny sea beasts, and the powerful particle energy fluctuations that resembled an abyss all spoke volumes.

It's highly likely that some of the wizard's ship's functions have been compromised.

"Don't be silly, can you refuse the decision made by Wizard Tuta?" a new wizard said with a sneer.

Gray complained to Wang Ya, "No way, Wizard Tuta is really something else. He's personally going to sea to hunt sea monsters. If you don't go, you won't have anything to eat. I think this is targeting our extraordinary cultivation program's new wizard students."

Cultivating organisms requires a large amount of food to meet the energy needed for metamorphosis.

Harak has successfully transformed into an extraordinary creature and no longer needs Wang Ya to find food for it; it can hunt in the ocean on its own.

Even after this rule was implemented, it could help Wang Ya meet his daily requirement for hunting marine mammals.

The brown-skinned, flat-headed lizard, much larger than the average lizard, was fast asleep with its eyes closed.

In Wang Ya's observation, this lizard had not become an extraordinary creature, and was still a long way from becoming an ancient physique wizard.

For Gray, implementing this rule was relatively difficult.

Gray shrugged and said helplessly, "What else can we do but endure it? The will of Wizard Tuta cannot be changed by anyone."

"Hopefully nothing else goes wrong, and we can get to the Dark Wizarding Academy as soon as possible."
