Wizards pursue the truth

Chapter 390 [390] The Choice of Gathering the True Spirit King Ya

Chapter 390 [390] The Choice of Gathering the True Spirit King Ya

The dark space was filled with absolute nothingness and emptiness—nothingness on the level of reality, devoid of any matter. Two white flames spontaneously combusted at the center of this dark space, as if matter had been born from the original nothingness—matter on the level of illusion.

As time went by, the two white flames grew larger and more fixed, gradually acquiring a human-like quality—they were a pair of eyes.

What is the difference between a formal wizard and a star wizard?

Wang Ya thought she already understood.

Having analyzed and collected so much extraordinary knowledge, so many great wizarding legacies, and even the daily interactions of the second-level Star Wizard, the Gloom Wizard, as an object of observation, when one truly steps into the second-level Star Wizard level, all previous speculations and conjectures are completely discarded.

Every wizard's path is different; even if they are similar, there are still differences.

Similarly, while the knowledge passed down through other paths of great wizards can be referenced, it should never be accepted entirely.

But in essence, they are the same; they are all seekers of the Way and pursuers of truth.

"The unity of spirit and flesh, the perfect proportion of illusion and reality, enables wizards to complete the first major stage of evolution, corresponding to the extraordinary system of the legendary civilization of the immortal realm. It is the leap from mortal to immortal, and the condensation of their own Dao fruit."

"Wizards also have their own Dao Fruit, which is a point between illusion and reality that is born when they achieve perfect balance and advance to become a formal wizard. It is the soul, the body, the mind, energy, consciousness, and even the definition of existence. According to the extraordinary system of the Immortal Realm Legendary Civilization, the Dao Fruit corresponds to a first-level wizard, the Earth Immortal corresponds to a Star Wizard, the Celestial Immortal corresponds to a Radiant Moon Wizard, and the True Immortal is a Sun Wizard."

"From a formal wizard to a day wizard, this process is about defining one's own existence, becoming more powerful, so powerful that one's own existence cannot be erased, whether it be time, space, matter, illusion, past, or future. This is the rule."

Reflecting all the heavens, the true self is unique, and the rules I created are naturally unique across all the heavens and myriad worlds, unique within the multiverse.

"Using the extraordinary system of the wizarding world, a formal wizard can also be called a True Spirit. So that's how the Dao Fruit Immortal corresponds to a True Spirit Wizard. This is a path for a True Spirit to ascend to the rule, to reflect all the heavens, and to become the only true self."

Wang Ya thought of the fragments of the Book of Myriad Phenomena that he possessed, as well as the rusted iron sword and the golden pocket watch. Was it possible that the power of rules carried by these unusual items was once created by the entity that created them?

But why did it turn out like this?

According to the wizard Lando, and corroborated by the rules of Hans Christian Andersen, those who have mastered the rules should be immortal and eternal, and even the destruction of the world should not affect them.

The wizarding world is a legendary civilization. In battles between wizards of the stars, even with the use of level-three ascended magical artifacts, they could only shatter the corridor island. But if this were placed in the martial arts world, it would surely lead to the sinking of the continent, the collapse of the heavens and the cracking of the earth, and the destruction of the world.

The strength of the material rules and the illusory rules are different, and the foundation of the wizarding world is too solid.

Neither the past nor the future can affect or erase the rules; once they exist, they will always exist. No matter how Wang Ya thought about it, he couldn't understand it. It was like Hans Christian Andersen; the Great Wizard of Deep Blue seemed only able to seal him in the Book of Deep Blue, and perhaps he couldn't be killed either. Now he had returned from the past.

The destructive impact of the World-Destroying Meteor Cannon will leave that part of the Mountain and Sea Land in a state of complete nothingness. Unless a more powerful force of rules intervenes to deny or change the definition and perception of that part of the area, the state of nothingness will still exist even after endless years.

Of course, as time goes on, it will become increasingly difficult to change the definition, distort or reverse the rules, and the world will spontaneously adapt until a new cyclical balance is achieved.

Wang Ya couldn't figure it out; he had a feeling that there was some big secret involved.

Unable to figure it out, he simply stopped thinking about it.

Time passed second by second, and the aura inside the battle tower grew stronger and stronger. Many wizards guarding outside were trembling, and some could not withstand the wisps of energy emanating from it.

It was terrifying, at a very high level, surpassing their current level of existence. Only the Ghostly Wizard could maintain a normal expression and show little reaction. However, her eyes were also trembling, clearly indicating significant inner turmoil, and her thoughts were quite different from the others.

"Strange, the aura is so powerful, almost indistinguishable from a level two Star Wizard, yet the will of the Wizarding World hasn't reacted, and the celestial phenomena haven't changed at all, only the powerful aura causing a sweeping wind pressure."

The Ghostlight Wizard was completely baffled; she was genuinely puzzled.

At least when she advanced to the second level of Star Wizard, it wasn't like that. In the wizarding world, the will comes quickly, and the process of facing the test isn't long. If you pass, you receive a blessing; if you fail, your consciousness and mind collapse, and your body and soul die. A small number of wizards have extremely good luck, or possess some special extraordinary items that allow them to survive.

She didn't quite understand whether the situation was good or bad, and could only wait and see how things developed.

Hopefully, the Nightmare Wizard can successfully break through.

The Ghostlight Wizard glanced at the many wizards present out of the corner of his eye. Without the Nightmare Wizard, this hard-won fighting spirit would fall apart again.

"So that's how it is. This is the second-level Star Wizard. If real matter does not exist, then it uses the power of illusion to distort reality and create something out of thin air."

Within the Tower of Signs, waves of joy rippled through the air, causing the void to undulate. A figure sat cross-legged at the deepest part of the tower, with a blood-red gate behind him, pouring in a large amount of bio-energy and particle energy to sustain the transformation.

The black and white gate is located on the left, and the space is filled with a continuous stream of Nightmare Annihilation Dream Power, which is supplied by Wang Ya at any time.

To the right is a faintly visible crimson door, inside which there seems to be a large amount of fire element particle energy, a destructive particle energy aura. However, it seems to be missing something, not fully condensed, so the amount of fire element particle energy flowing out is relatively small, but the quality is extremely high.

"The union of spirit and flesh gives birth to the true spirit, making the true spirit even stronger and creating a physical form of the true spirit. It can be clearly felt and is no longer something that pulsates between the flesh, soul, consciousness, mind, spirit, energy, and bloodline. The true spirit is a real existence and can perceive a wider natural world, control more of the external environment, and master material energy and illusory spirit."

"I need to choose a direction to completely concentrate my true spirit within it. This is related to the wizarding path each wizard chooses. Bloodline wizards naturally concentrate their spirit within their extraordinary bloodline, elemental wizards generally choose to concentrate it within particle energy, dream wizards and black wizards naturally concentrate their spirit, mind, and soul. Mechanical wizards concentrate their spirit and soul, while battle wizards and white wizards concentrate their physical body. Everything is based on the choice of the wizarding path that best suits oneself."

"So how should I choose?" Wang Ya was caught in a dilemma and began to ask himself this question.

During my apprenticeship, many teaching wizards said that choosing multiple paths has its advantages and disadvantages, and often none of them are as clear or as far-reaching as the single path.

If the only path is that of an elemental wizard, then Wang Ya's choice today is naturally to condense true spirit with particle energy.

Wang Ya now understands why it is so difficult to transform elements into life forms, with only one out of ten elemental wizards succeeding.

It has a great deal to do with the True Spirit. It should be said that the True Spirit chooses particle energy, which is of great help to the life-making of energy.

Should he choose to condense into the energy of the Nightmare Annihilation Particles? Wang Ya's black eyes showed a rare hesitation.

If you are a dream wizard, it is appropriate to choose to concentrate your true spirit in your mind, heart, or soul. Of course, the mind is the highest priority.

The source of the power of dreams lies in spiritual power.

"How should I choose, teacher? If you were here, could you give me a hint?"

Wang Ya's eyes flickered, then he closed them, and his aura began to subside, no longer so powerful that it could be sensed by those around him. A continuous stream of bio-energy, natural particle energy, fire element particle energy, and the power of Nightmare Annihilation Dream were poured into his physical body.

The ancient yellow tree had grown to an enormous size, its roots extending deep into the earth, each one winding and coiling like a giant serpent. The surrounding maple trees, in contrast, were like a giant compared to a child, leaning slightly towards the central, dreamlike giant tree, as if bowing in worship.

Leaves swayed in the breeze, rustling through the trees. Dream Lake was covered with yellow maple leaves, and a few scenes reflected the image of a figure in a yellow wizard's robe, where Wizard Coran was instructing another figure in a black wizard's robe.

Green Forest rubbed his long green hair. His appearance and physique had gradually matured. Time can take some things away, but it can also bring some things. For example, naive thoughts and a mature mentality.

"Teacher, when will I be able to leave Heart Dream Lake? I really want to see my brother and tell him this good news." Green Forest blinked her watery eyes, a helpless smile playing on her lips. "The cycle of reincarnation within the black and white bubbles is too terrifying. I even dreamt that my brother became my enemy. This is truly..."

"So you defeated him?" Wizard Kelan asked, somewhat curious.

Now it was Green Forest's turn to fall silent. Unusually, she didn't answer the wizard Kolan's question, but just smiled sweetly and smoothed the hair beside her forehead.

"Then we didn't win."

"How could I possibly beat my brother if I can't beat him?" Midori's voice was soft, as if he were somewhat absent-minded.

The wizard Coran shook his head and said, "The cycle within the black and white bubbles is based on your thoughts and your dreams. The fact that you were able to break free from the black and white bubbles proves your potential and your wizarding heart."

"There's no need to think of your brother as invincible. If you had even the slightest fighting spirit or desire to defeat Wang Ya, you wouldn't have come to this conclusion."

"But brother is really amazing, so strong!" Midori rubbed her stiff cheeks. She had been lying inside the trunk of the Dream Tree for who knows how long. The process of reincarnation inside the black and white bubbles was very realistic, almost indistinguishable from reality.

Whether it was her brother's twisted sense of humor or not, the final part of her cycle of reincarnation, which she wanted to escape from, involved facing her brother as an enemy and defeating him.

Without a doubt, she failed time and time again, never managing to defeat Wang Ya. If it weren't for some special events, she might not have been able to escape the black and white bubble.

Out of the corner of her eye, she glanced in one direction, and it seemed as if she could see Wang Ya's location through the gap between the dream world and the real world.

A special connection originating from the depths of her bloodline and soul awakened her from the cycle of reincarnation, a fact she did not share with the wizard, Kolan.

If she really did tell him, she would most likely still be unable to leave Xinmeng Lake and would still have to lie in that tree hole, accepting the cycle of black and white reincarnation. Green Forest could certainly understand her brother's good intentions, but the heart of a wizard was really too difficult. She would most likely never be able to escape her brother's shadow for the rest of her life.

Green Forest suddenly turned around and said to the person behind her, "Sister Su'er, don't you think brother is very strong?"

On the edge of Heart Dream Island, near the lake, stood several black-robed, hooded figures, their forms indistinct and ethereal, moving as if without feet. Their souls and consciousness were palpable, and the power of Nightmare Annihilation flowed into these hooded figures from every corner of the world.

There were about ten figures in black robes and hoods, their faces obscured by a faint ripple of light. They all had their heads down, and the hoods concealed one tall figure. Upon hearing Green Forest's call, the figure instinctively raised her head, revealing a beautiful face that remained stunning even amidst the ripples of light, with long, fiery red hair cascading down her chest.

She raised her head for only a moment, her face filled with confusion and helplessness, as if she had lost many memories and could not establish a path of thought. She lowered her head and, along with the other figures in black robes and hoods, wandered back and forth on the shore without any rhyme or reason, like a walking corpse.

If any warlike wizards from the outside world were to enter this place, they would discover that these black-robed, hooded figures are wizards they once knew, wizards with whom they had shared the banquet hosted by the Nightmare Wizard. These are the wizards that Wang Ya failed to take with him when he fled, wizards who did not choose sides, and who perished in the series of battles waged by the Dark Wizard, the Nature Wizard, and Andersen.

They have been resurrected, yet they seem not to have fully resurrected. Once this news gets out, it will cause a huge uproar in the Underdark.

"It's been ten days and ten nights already. It's unbelievable. Has there ever been a second-level Star Wizard breakthrough process that lasted this long in history?"

"Compared to its initial powerful aura, the Nightmare Wizard's aura is now increasingly diminished. If it weren't for the occasional glimmer of life force, I would even think..."

"I have a feeling that the Nightmare Wizard might bring about some unexpected and astonishing changes."

The assembled wizards and apprentices were engaged in their own discussions, their voices barely audible, primarily communicating through mental energy to maintain a basic level of silence. However, their gazes toward the battle tower were filled with anticipation and expectation.

"The aura is different... This is..." A glint flashed in the Ghostly Wizard's eyes, and she straightened up abruptly, her gaze fixed on the Battle Tower. She exclaimed in shock, "This aura is increasing at an astonishing speed! So fast! Could it be...?"
