This pirate only wants to farm.

The Hades was a medium-sized sailing ship, and it would be almost impossible for it to sail on the open sea using oars.

However, since the Pluto is a ghost ship, it will always have its own way of sailing, and all of this is based on the guidance of the astrolabe.

After giving the order, Lynch took the astrolabe from the captain's cabin.

Wangcai, still in a daze, bared its teeth and jumped onto Lin Qi's shoulder, its face full of excitement and agitation.

Lin Qi patted Wangcai's head: "Don't worry, let me activate it."

As he spoke, a faint blue light appeared at Lin Qi's fingertip. He casually tapped the astrolabe, and the astrolabe lit up, slowly flashing on a crystal star position in the left front.

Looking at the shimmering gaps on the crystal star position, Lin Qi silently calculated: "This distance is neither far nor near; it will take at least two days."

"Wangcai, are you alright?"

Wangcai couldn't wait any longer and hugged the natal chart to his chest, squeaking!

Lin Qi smiled and nodded, ruffling Wangcai's head: "Then you mustn't break it. Old Tony went through a lot of trouble to drop the positioning crystal onto that island. If you break the positioning star chart, we won't be able to find that island anymore."

Wangcai patted his chest and assured him that he would absolutely not break it.

Lin Qi nodded and led Wangcai to the location of the ship's wheel on the upper deck.

Elizabeth and the second mate, Skull, also came up to the upper deck. She blinked her big eyes and looked curiously at the decaying ship's wheel.

Elizabeth had previously questioned whether the rudder was still usable.

Although it didn't crumble when touched, it looked like a rotten ship's rudder that had been soaking in the sea for decades and seemed like it would break at the slightest touch.

The only thing that seemed a little intriguing was the empty space in the center of the ship's wheel, which was completely different from any other ship's wheel Elizabeth had ever seen.

Just as Elizabeth was pondering, Wangcai jumped onto the ship's wheel in a few steps and placed the astrolabe in his hand into the groove in the middle.

Elizabeth's eyes widened immediately: "Is this for placing a natal chart?"

This scene reminded Elizabeth of a legendary navigation technology, which inevitably leads to the origin of the astrolabe.

According to legend, the astrolabe was a navigation method used thousands of years ago. As long as one had the coordinates of the astrolabe, ships with magical powers could navigate autonomously.

Unfortunately, this technology has long been lost at sea.

The astrolabe thus became just an ordinary magical item that could only be used to indicate directions.

Lin Qi was in a good mood today, so he smiled and nodded, explaining, "Yes, the rudder of the Underworld is already rotten, not to mention it has no sails."

"However, if there is a natal chart that records coordinates, Wangcai can navigate autonomously at a slow speed."

"But doing this consumes a locating star chart every time. Even if the quality of this locating star chart is not as good as your purple one, such consumption is still a bit too extravagant on a windless sea."

Resources are scarce on the Windless Sea, and astrolabes are a necessity on the high seas. Only someone like Lin Qi, who can drift anywhere, wouldn't care much about them. Otherwise, they would be treasured by others.

A yellowish-brown astrolabe like this can only locate areas within 100 nautical miles, while the astrolabe in Elizabeth's hand can locate areas within 5000 nautical miles.

One nautical mile is 1852 meters, which shows just how precious Elizabeth's purple astrolabe was.

One nautical mile is also a unit of measurement for speed at sea.

One hour is enough to travel one nautical mile, which is called a section at sea.

Elizabeth's eyes widened, sparkling as she stared at the decaying ship's wheel.

Because of her family background, Elizabeth has always been curious about everything on the sea. Seeing something that only exists in legends with her own eyes is an incredible surprise for her.

As the astrolabe completely disappeared into the decaying rudder, the Pluto once again made the sound of fibers snapping, and the entire ship began to slowly turn.

As if remembering something, Wangcai barked twice at Lin Qi and Zhizhi, then immediately jumped off the helm and plunged into the captain's cabin. Before Elizabeth could even ask questions, Wangcai ran back, this time wearing a tricorn hat similar to the captain's, embroidered with a cute skull.

Wangcai squatted on the ship's wheel, winked at Lynch and Elizabeth, and then held the wheel's wheel with great swagger, like an arrogant captain.

Lin Qi shook his head with a chuckle. Since he woke up, Wangcai had only used the astrolabe twice.

Each time the locating star chart is used, it means that the Pluto can sail like a real ship.

This is quite a rare treat for Wangcai.

Lin Qi ruffled Wangcai's hair, then looked at Elizabeth and said, "Then the voyage is up to you. Remember to put all the oranges away in the cabin later. For the rest of the time, you stay with Wangcai and keep an eye on the route."

"Let me know if anything happens."

Elizabeth was also quite interested in sailing, not to mention that this was a legendary ghost ship. She saluted Lynch and immediately rushed into the farmland to pick the remaining oranges.

Judging from her expression, Lin Qi knew that Elizabeth was also itching to try and control the ghost ship.

Unfortunately, what he didn't know was that this ghost ship didn't need a rudder at all; its movement was entirely up to Wangcai's whim.

Aside from being used to mount the astrolabe, that broken ship's rudder was only for decoration.

However, Lynch did not intend to dampen Elizabeth's enthusiasm, so he let the second mate continue to hang up as a lookout. Lynch then turned around, returned to the captain's cabin, closed the door, and opened the control panel.

He has one more crucial thing to do: allocate skill points.

Sitting back in the rough chair, Lin Qi rubbed his hands together and stared at his control panel, lost in thought.

Character Level: 10

Experience points: 45/3000

[Skills: Water Purification Level 3, Breeding Level 1, Growth Leap Level 2, Stamina Enhancement Level 2, Strength Enhancement Level 1, Luck Level 1, Seed Fusion Level 1.]

Special Skill: Mercenary Learning (Cannot be upgraded)

"Which skill should I allocate points to next?"

Lynch doesn't have many skills; he has no interest in skills like stamina enhancement and strength enhancement.

Growth Leap is Lynch's most frequently used skill, so there's no need to waste skill points upgrading it.

He felt that with his frequency of use, the skill would automatically upgrade after a while.

Lynch's gaze involuntarily fell on the luck he had recently received from Elizabeth.

Since the skill was obtained from Elizabeth, it is impossible to inherit Elizabeth's level.

The problem is that the Luck skill is clearly a passive skill; at least the Strength and Stamina boosts can be increased through training.

But how exactly do you cultivate luck?

Lin Qi pondered for a moment.

He decided to add a bit of luck, a bit of growth and vitality, and leave some for when he got the seeds on the island before making a decision.

He always felt that the seed fusion technique could create surprises for him.

Lin Qi thought to himself with a smile, and then clicked on the skill details to see the changes in the skills after this upgrade.
