Douluo Continent: I, Long Aotian, will not be a supporting character.

Huo Yuhao slowly walked off the stage, leading the Shrek Academy reserve team members back to where the Shrek Academy players had originally stood. He didn't even wait for the referee to announce the result. That pride once again shocked the entire audience.

"Damn, I give this a perfect score for showing off." Long Aotian silently complained in his heart. He was certain that Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong's twelve 100,000-year spirit rings were definitely fake. Huo Yuhao had used this trick in the original work, and all of his and Wang Dong's 100,000-year spirit rings were simulations.

However, without the Heavenly Dream Ice Silkworm as a cheat code, Long Aotian wondered how Huo Yuhao cultivated the Spirit Eye Martial Soul, and his doubts and vigilance towards Huo Yuhao rose again.

Poison Undying, who had been nowhere to be found, suddenly appeared in the Imperial Academy's group and asked, "What just happened? I sensed a powerful 100,000-year soul ring aura."

After seeing his master, Du Busi, Long Aotian recounted Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong's performance on the Soul Battle Stage, and also told Du Busi about his conjecture that the 100,000-year soul ring was a fake simulation.

Upon hearing this, Du Busi's eyes gleamed with admiration. He said, "I never expected to encounter such a genius with a Body Spirit during this competition. Even I couldn't distinguish the authenticity of his simulated 100,000-year spirit ring. I suppose his Eye Spirit is not much inferior to your Yin-Yang Eye Spirit, Aotian. It seems my trip has been worthwhile. I must find a way to lure this kid from Shrek Academy to our Body Spirit Sect."

Upon hearing this, Long Aotian felt a pang of anxiety; he knew he had to quickly stop his master from having this "dangerous" idea that the poison wouldn't kill him.

Putting aside the fact that Huo Yuhao is backed by the scheming Tang San, anyone who gets close to Huo Yuhao will become unfortunate under Tang San's schemes. In the original work, Electrolux and the Emperor Beast Three-Eyed Golden Lion King Qiu'er are both just tools.

Furthermore, in the original novel, Huo Yuhao himself was not a good person. He was ungrateful and forgot the sacrifices made by Electrolux and the Imperial Beast, the Three-Eyed Golden Lion King Qiu'er, after becoming a god. Moreover, before his death, Du Busi entrusted Huo Yuhao with the secrets of the Body Sect and asked him to take care of it. Huo Yuhao accepted the benefits from the Body Sect but failed to fulfill his promise. Afterwards, the Body Sect was reduced to a mere pittance, almost extinct. All these events demonstrate that Huo Yuhao's nature was not good.

Long Aotian quickly said to his master, Du Busi, "Master, please don't! Just now, when you said you wanted to bring Huo Yuhao to our Body Sect, my Yin-Yang Eye Martial Soul gave me a frantic warning, as if reminding me that Huo Yuhao must not be taken into our Body Sect. This person has a great connection behind him, and if he is taken into our Body Sect, it may bring unpredictable misfortune to the sect." In order to dispel Du Busi's idea, Long Aotian could only use his Yin-Yang Eye's ability to sense destiny to make up a lie.

Over the years, Du Busi had come to firmly believe in Long Aotian's power of sensing destiny through his Yin-Yang Eyes.

As expected, after hearing Long Aotian's words, Du Bisi pondered for a moment, then sighed and said, "What a pity. I was hoping that my Body Sect could gain another genius to share the burden with Aotian and Nana. I didn't expect you to give such a warning. In that case, forget it. We won't lose him."

Hearing that Du Busi had given up on Huo Yuhao's idea, Long Aotian finally felt relieved.

After Huo Yuhao, Wang Dong, and others from the Shrek Academy reserve team left the field, the cheers on Xingluo Square continued for a long time before gradually fading away.

The host's voice rang out again: "Next, the second match of the first round of eliminations will be between the Sun Moon Empire's Frost Moon Advanced Soul Master Academy and the Star Luo Empire's Purple Star Advanced Soul Master Academy."

After the host announced the two teams competing in the second match, the teams from the two academies stepped onto the fighting stage.

After the referee announced the start of the match, the two players immediately got tangled up together.

This match lasted much longer than the first one. The teams from Frostmoon Advanced Soul Master Academy and Purple Star Advanced Soul Master Academy were evenly matched, but one team consisted entirely of Soul Master members, while the other consisted of traditional Soul Master members.

The battle was deadlocked, with the Frost Moon team members' various soul tools scattering energy everywhere, causing considerable damage to the Purple Star team. However, the Purple Star team remained steadfast and held on.

After all, this competition is being held in the Star Luo Empire, and they are the first team from the Star Luo Empire to participate. If they lose, not only will the Purple Star Advanced Soul Master Academy be eliminated, but the Star Luo Empire will also lose face.

Therefore, even though everyone on the Purple Star team was injured, they still persisted and did not give up.

In the end, thanks to the Purple Star team's all-out, risk-taking tactics, the Purple Star team finally achieved victory and saved face for the Star Luo Empire.

Although this battle wasn't as impactful as the previous Shrek battle, the Purple Star team's fearless attitude earned them the first victory for the Star Luo Empire, and the crowd cheered them on.

Over the next few days, several more matches were played, and finally it was the day for the Imperial Academy to take the stage.

The announcement came over the loudspeaker: "First round of elimination matches, the twenty-third match, is between the Sun Moon Empire's Bright Radiance Advanced Soul Master Academy and the Heavenly Soul Empire's Royal Imperial Academy."

"Next, please welcome the two competing academy teams to the stage!"

Upon hearing the sound, Long Aotian and the other six walked towards the Soul Battle Arena.

The audience was once again agitated when they saw another group of young children emerge from the participating teams' formations.

What is Di'ao Academy doing?

Why are they sending a group of kids, just like Shrek Academy? Do they have the same strength as the Shrek students?

The crowd murmured amongst themselves, but Long Aotian and the others paid no heed.

After they stepped onto the Soul Arena and stood still, the Mingyao Advanced Soul Master Academy on the opposite side had also arrived on the Soul Arena.

The referee was surprised to see the boy, who looked about twelve or thirteen years old, walk onto the stage again. However, given the previous Shrek Academy incident, he didn't think too much about it and raised his right hand, ready to announce the start of the match.

Both teams have taken their positions.

Long Aotian, Jin Ni, Vina, Ji Juechen, Ye Guyi, Dugu Yuan, and Xiao Xiao stood in a row. The seven of them did not have any particular formation. Including Vina, all seven of them were capable of direct combat, so there was no need to follow the traditional formation of strong attackers in front and support in the back.

Meanwhile, the opposing Mingyao team had already taken their positions.

The light shield surrounding the Battle Arena rose up again.

At this moment, the referee lowered his right hand and announced, "The match begins!"

In an instant, both teams' members were imbued with their martial spirits.

In an instant, white, yellow, purple, and black spirit rings shone on the Soul Battle Arena.

The Mingyao Advanced Soul Master Academy team has only one Soul King, and the rest are all Soul Masters.

The person at the very front of the Mingyao team should be their captain. He had yellow, purple, and black spirit rings shining on his body. Judging from his spirit power fluctuations, he should have just broken through to the fifth-ring spirit king, which is a fifth-level spirit master.

Moreover, he is the only one in the team with the best spirit ring configuration, while the other six level-four spirit masters basically have white first spirit rings.
