Douluo Continent: I, Long Aotian, will not be a supporting character.

"Your Majesty, Your Highness the Crown Prince, Chief Imperial Attendant, I remember now!"

Jing Hongchen suddenly raised his head, his eyes flashing with sudden realization, his tone filled with certainty and resentment: "It's not the Holy Spirit Cult! It's most likely Shrek Academy! It's those old guys from the Sea God Pavilion! I have solid evidence. One of their students, Huo Yuhao, possesses incredible simulation skills. If Shrek Academy used simulation soul skills to impersonate evil soul masters, frame the Holy Spirit Cult, and try to provoke a conflict between our two sides so they can reap the benefits, then it's not impossible."

Xu Tianran sat upright on the dragon throne, a cold glint flashing across his pale, handsome face. He was clearly pleased with Jing Hongchen's words. He tapped the armrest lightly with his slender fingers and sneered, "Shrek Academy, what a clever trick. They've used someone else to do their dirty work. Since they want to muddy the waters, we might as well go with the flow."

Shrek Academy, without any prior knowledge, inadvertently became the scapegoat for the Body Sect.

Meanwhile, a shocking conspiracy targeting Shrek Academy was quietly brewing.

In retaliation for Shrek Academy's "sneak attack" and to thoroughly weaken the foundation of this continent's premier academy, Xu Tianran spearheaded a top-secret cooperation agreement between the Sun Moon Empire and the Holy Spirit Cult. They employed a two-pronged approach, one overt and one covert.

On the surface, Jing Hongchen personally took advantage of the opportunity of the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Battle Tournament to openly and legitimately enter Shrek Academy to investigate.

He not only wanted to sow seeds of suspicion and turmoil within Shrek Academy, but also to keep the attention of the elders of the Sea God Pavilion firmly on his own. Meanwhile, in the shadows, the elite forces of the Holy Spirit Cult were mobilized in full force.

For these evil spirit masters lurking in the shadows, Shrek Academy has always been a major threat. Especially Ma Xiaotao and Huo Yuhao, who were the Holy Spirit Cult's coveted candidates for Holy Maiden and Holy Son.

The unexpected attack disrupted the peaceful daily life of Shrek Academy. Despite the desperate resistance of the elders of the Sea God Pavilion, the elders of the Holy Spirit Cult, taking advantage of the surprise attack, moved like ghosts through all the defensive formations and accurately located their target.

That night, Shrek Academy was devastated. When the morning sun shone on Seagod Island the next morning, all that remained was a scene of utter devastation, desperate cries, and the devastating news of the disappearance of two core disciples.

Meanwhile, deep within the Demon Forest of the Sun and Moon Empire, an underground palace exuding a thick aura of blood and evil rose from the ground. This was the headquarters of the Holy Spirit Cult.

In the dark and damp chamber, three black stone pillars, engraved with evil runes, were arranged in a triangular formation. Ma Xiaotao, Tang Ya, and Huo Yuhao were tightly bound to the pillars by thick chains. Their eyes were blindfolded, and the whispers of Zhongli Wuna, the leader of the Holy Spirit Cult, seemed to come from the deepest abyss, echoed in their ears.

It is worth mentioning that Tang Ya had previously left Shrek Academy on her own, but was accidentally discovered by the Holy Spirit Cult members to have her Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul possessing the Dark Devouring attribute, and was thus also abducted to the Holy Spirit Cult.

At this time, the Holy Spirit Cult was trying to control and brainwash these three people.

"Forget your past... You were born of darkness, children of evil gods..." This was a vicious method combining mind control, poison, and evil brainwashing. Under day after day of torture and hypnosis, the memories of Shrek Academy, family, and friends in the three's minds began to peel away little by little.

The evil fire within Ma Xiaotao, catalyzed by the Holy Spirit Cult's specially concocted evil medicine, erupted once more. This time, however, she no longer resisted, allowing the malevolent power to consume her reason. When she opened her eyes again, those once clear and bright eyes had turned a pure dark red, and a pair of phoenix wings burning with black flames unfurled behind her. She was no longer Shrek Academy's chosen one, but had become the revered "Fire Phoenix Saintess" of the Holy Spirit Cult.

Tang Ya's Blue Silver Grass bloodline, corrupted by evil energy, completely mutated into Dark Blue Silver Grass. The Blue Silver Grass vine that once created the Tang Sect's initial glory was now filled with evil and death. Tang Ya lost herself in endless pain, ultimately transforming into the cold and ruthless "Blue Silver Saintess".

While Huo Yuhao's physical strength was the lowest among the three, his mental power was the strongest. However, faced with the Holy Spirit Cult's evil magic specifically targeting the soul, his mental power was like a floating weed, unable to withstand the attack for long.

However, what truly broke Huo Yuhao's last line of defense was not just the mental pressure from the outside world, but the resonance with the Dark God Butterfly, a dark power that had been deliberately suppressed for a long time deep within his soul.

His Dark Netherworld Butterfly Martial Soul was originally close to the ultimate dark attribute. Under the control of his powerful mental strength, the dark attribute would naturally not be affected by time and space. However, at this moment, under the catalysis of the Holy Spirit Cult's specially made evil medicine, the power of darkness began to stir.

"Buzz—"

A low, eerie flapping sound echoed in Huo Yuhao's mind. He felt a chill run down his spine, as if countless icy insects were gnawing at his back. Immediately afterward, an intensely dense aura of death surged from his body, resonating powerfully with the evil runes permeating the secret chamber.

Zhongli Wu keenly sensed this change, a glint of wild joy flashing in his eyes. He immediately intensified his mental control, transforming his divine sense into a sharp dagger, piercing straight into the depths of Huo Yuhao's soul along with this aura of death.

"Child, can you feel it? This is your true power." Zhongli Wu's voice was like a devil's whisper, carrying a deadly allure. "Those so-called Shrek Academy and Sea God Pavilion, they merely want to exploit your talent, binding you to a false light. But these wings on your back are your glory, your innate destiny!"

Huo Yuhao's consciousness struggled desperately in this black storm. He remembered Elder Mu's kind face, Wang Dong'er's warm smile, Sister Tang Ya, and Senior Brother Bei Bei. But these memories were like snowflakes thrown into a sea of fire, swallowed up by the surging aura of death the moment they surfaced.

The sound of the Dark Goddess Butterfly's wings flapping grew louder and louder, finally culminating in a mournful cry. "Ah—!!!"

A heart-wrenching scream escaped Huo Yuhao's lips. His body trembled violently, and his clothes were torn apart by an invisible force, revealing a pair of enormous, jet-black butterfly wings that slowly unfurled. The wings were covered with eerie, scarlet patterns, and each flap brought forth a suffocating storm of death.

At that moment, the last trace of "human" memory in Huo Yuhao's mind collapsed. He forgot everything about himself. His eyes snapped open from under the black cloth, his once clear pupils now a pure dark purple, and deep within his pupils, a tiny phantom of a Netherworld Butterfly was fluttering.

When he raised his head again, his face was devoid of any human expression. His dark purple eyes stared coldly ahead, as if looking at a pile of lifeless stones. He slightly opened his mouth, and the voice that escaped was hoarse and cold, devoid of any emotion:

"I am... the darling of darkness... the Holy Son of the Underworld..."

At this point, Shrek Academy's Evil Phoenix Ma Xiaotao, Tang Sect's Sect Master Tang Ya, and Shrek Academy's rising star Huo Yuhao are no more. Now, only the Holy Spirit Cult's Fire Phoenix Saintess, Blue Silver Saintess, and Underworld Holy Son remain.
