Meanwhile, the battle on the central avenue of the northern outer ring road has reached a fever pitch.

With the Bloodlust Armor activated, Huber Alexander Claych's spiritual pressure rose even higher, and pale blue spiritual patterns spread from the collar of his military uniform to his chin, making his already pale skin appear almost transparent.

The rapier shot out with a sharp whistling sound, its speed nearly twice as fast as before, and even produced a series of sonic booms as the tip tore through the air.

His moves remained textbook perfect, each thrust and slash precisely timed to the point of spiritual energy circulation, the power flowing through his arm and into the sword. Any Grim Reaper below the captain level would suffer broken bones and ruptured tendons if grazed by him.

Unohana's steps remained steady as she drew a cunning arc with her sword, the blade gliding eerily along the spine of the rapier before slicing precisely at Huber Alexander Kleish's knuckles. Where the blade passed, spiritual pressure was cleanly torn apart, releasing a heavy, pungent stench of blood.

Her footwork blended the essence of dozens of styles, and each step was precisely timed to coincide with the gaps in Hubelt Alexander Claych's attacks, delivering a backhand slash straight at vital points with a chillingly ruthless angle.

After dozens of moves, Hubbard Alexander Kleich's breathing gradually became heavier. He originally thought that he could easily suppress his opponent after activating the Blood Armor, but the woman's swordsmanship was like a poisonous thorn stuck to the bone, the more he struggled, the tighter it became.

Each time the swords clashed, a strange force surged through the blades into his meridians, slightly sluggishing his spiritual energy. He had to devote more attention to neutralizing it, naturally slowing his attacks down a bit.

"The vice-commander of the Sternritter seems to be in trouble."

A cold voice came from the flank of the battlefield, not loud, but clearly drowning out the surrounding sounds of fighting. Huber Alexander Kleich glanced out of the corner of his eye and saw a figure in pure white military uniform walking slowly towards him, with a spirit short gun hanging on each side of his waist, the silver cross on the butt of the gun gleaming coldly in the bloody light.

The newcomer had neat, short, silver-gray hair, each strand meticulously combed. He had prominent cheekbones and a sharp, defined jawline. He wore a pure black circular eye patch over his left eye, with a thin black strap running diagonally from his forehead across the bridge of his nose to below his right cheek, completely obscuring his left eye. Only his right eye was visible; it was light brown, long and narrow, with a sharp, cold gaze, slightly narrowed, exuding scrutiny, authority, and the ruthlessness of someone who had been through many battles.

It was John Saidliz, the second-in-command of Yhwach's personal guard.

Huber Alexander Kleich deftly deflected Unohana's blade with a flick of his wrist, leaping back several feet, his brow furrowed. "John Saidlitz, who sent you here?" His tone was filled with undisguised displeasure. "Instead of staying by His Majesty's side, you want to interfere in my battle?"

"His Majesty's orders are to eliminate the Grim Reaper's high-end forces, not for you to enjoy a one-on-one duel here." John Saidlitz walked without stopping, heading straight to the other side of the battlefield, his hands already gripping the gun handles at his waist, spiritual light slowly seeping out from between his fingers. "You've wasted enough time. Finish this quickly; there are more important things to do later."

"A mere madwoman isn't enough to make us join forces." Hubert Alexander Kleish scoffed, his sword pointing diagonally at the ground, his spiritual pressure remaining undiminished. "I know what I'm doing, you don't need to interfere."

"Your sense of proportion is that after fighting for so long you couldn't even force her to unleash her Zanpakuto?" John Saidlitz's tone was flat, yet it pierced Hubbard Alexander Claych's pride like a needle. "Once she unleashes her Zanpakuto, it will be too late for a quick victory. His Majesty wants results, not your so-called pride as a strongman."

Hubbard Alexander Kleich's expression darkened. He stared intently at Unohana, who stood with her sword hanging down, her fingertips casually tracing the blade, drops of blood sliding down the edge and into the puddle at her feet, creating tiny ripples. That completely disregard for the two of them fueled the anger in his heart.

He remained silent for two seconds, finally letting out a very soft sneer through his nose, tacitly approving John Saidlitz's interference. Noble pride was important, but failing to complete His Majesty's task would have far more serious consequences than losing a duel.

Unohana listened to every word of their conversation, but instead of showing any seriousness, a cold smile slowly crept onto her lips. She raised her hand to wipe away the blood that had splattered on her lips, casually smearing the blood from her fingertips onto the blade. Suddenly, a near-mad, frenzied fire of excitement ignited in her previously indifferent eyes.

The two-on-one situation did not deter her in the slightest; instead, it stirred up her long-dormant killing intent—it had been too long since she had a worthy opponent, and two members of her personal guard were just the right amount of fun for her.

She slowly raised her Zanpakuto, its tip pointing diagonally at the ground. The surging crimson spiritual pressure around her was almost tangible, causing even the surrounding air to tremble slightly. The Zanpakuto spirit deep within her soul emitted a hungry hum, yearning to tear apart its prey before it—once she uttered the release incantation, this battlefield would transform into a true hell on earth.

Just then, a very faint black shadow darted out from behind the broken wall on the side and landed silently a few feet away from Huber Alexander Kleich. The newcomer was wearing a dark haori, and his straw hat was pulled down very low, covering most of his face, revealing only his cold and hard jawline.

Her long, black hair fell down her shoulders, the ends speckled with tiny drops of blood.

His knuckles tapped against the cold, hard hilt of the sword, producing a very faint, crisp sound. His spiritual pressure solidified, as if he had fallen into an icy pool.

Captain of the 10th Division, Wang Tuchuan Yuxuji.

His gaze, filtering through the shadow of his straw hat, landed steadily on Hubelt Alexander Kleich. There were no superfluous opening remarks, no words of provocation; he simply and slowly gripped the hilt of his sword. The gesture was clear—he had come to take on this opponent.

Huber Alexander Klein raised an eyebrow, about to utter a sarcastic remark, when Unohana let out a faint sneer. Her impending spiritual pressure abruptly subsided, not a trace leaking out. With a slight flick of her wrist, she shook off the blood droplets from her blade, her gaze sweeping over Wang Tuchuan Yuxu, her tone icy: "In the way."

Her gaze then fell upon John Saidlitz. A Quincy wielding dual pistols—she had never seen such a rare weapon before. Kenpachi, who called himself Yachiru, was delighted and didn't pursue the matter of having one of his opponents taken away.
