Luo An was still somewhat hesitant.

Humility is one of the virtues of chivalry. Roan also tried his best to uphold it.

"Alright, Roan." Hagrid patted Roan on the shoulder. "Don't think too much about it. Let's go out together; someone's waiting for you."

Having said that, Roan had no choice but to nod and walk out of the military camp with Hagrid.

On the way, Roan remembered Jally's arm and tentatively asked Hagrid about the [Great Restoration] spell.

Hagrid was not surprised to hear about the Great Restoration Spell.

"You mean Jalley, right?" Hagrid knew the whole town inside and out, including the military camp.

"I've already given him ten extra silver coins as a reward. He's not crippled, he just can't hold a sword. He can become a blacksmith."

"Roan, I know he came to the Legion from the militia with you. But you'll have to pay a heavy price. Just to help him recover further, take up a sword, and become a guard."

"That's not worth it, and it could even put him in danger."

"He has fought against monsters, and even with his flaws, the Legion will still respect him."

Do you know what I mean?

"I know," Roan said calmly. "Mayor Hagrid, you're overthinking it. I'm not a very enthusiastic person."

"I just didn't like that ending."

"After giving everything, he went from knight to ordinary person, praised by others, but after that, nobody knows what his future holds. Does he still want to be a knight?"

"I don't care, Mayor Hagrid," Roan said quietly.

"I just don't like that."

Hagrid stopped and lingered his gaze on Roan for a moment.

If his previous impression of Roan was that of a well-mannered knight, then...

The current Luo An is more like a real person.

"Hehe." Hagrid chuckled.

"I'm sorry, I can't do that either. I can't get a priest who can chant the [Great Restoration] spell to do it."

What I mean is, I am no longer the lord of Lorton.

"The lord of Lorton, who is also my daughter. If it's her, she should be able to help you."

Hagrid stopped and looked Roan up and down, his smile widening.

"Speaking of which, Luo An, aren't you curious about where my sword went?"

The silver armor should have a matching longsword, and since Hagrid didn't mention it, Roan naturally didn't ask further.

"You'll find out soon enough." Hagrid's smile held a hint of anticipation and a touch of amusement.

The sword in the silver armor was given to his daughter who was clamoring for the armor.

I wonder what kind of expression she'll have if Roan really "takes away" the armor she's been longing for.

The two arrived at the entrance of the military camp.

Hagrid stopped in his tracks.

"Alright. I need to get back to work. Roan, it was nice chatting with you for a bit."

Today may be the last time I have some free time. I hope I won't be too busy for a while in the future.

"Luo An, I hope to hear more good news about you."

Luo An bowed slightly and greeted Hagrid.

"Thank you for your kind words, Mayor Hagrid."

"Remember, show this armor to the world."

Hagrid nodded to Roan and then left.

After bowing to Hagrid once more, Roan turned and stepped out of the military camp gate.

What an interesting old gentleman. He doesn't seem like a lord, more like an old knight.

However, Hagrid is very pessimistic.

This made Luo An somewhat doubtful about the dangers posed by magical beasts.

Is it really that scary?

Luo An suddenly found it funny.

There are many, many powerful knights in this world, so it's not my place to worry.

As soon as I stepped into the military camp, I heard a whistle and a high-pitched laugh.

"Hey, look who's that?! A knight!"

"My God! His armor is so beautiful! To be honest, I've fallen in love with him. I just wish he would turn around and look at me."

Look at me, look at me!

Luo An sighed and turned to see Levi leaning lazily against the wall.

"Mr. Levi's."

Levi's stubble chuckled as he hooked his arm around Roan's shoulder.

"Welcome back, buddy! How about we celebrate? Bring out your prized ale! Let's drink to our hearts' content!"

Levi's was referring to the two bottles of wine that Dugan had given to Roan.

One bottle was sold by Roan to Tonerie, and the other was given to the blacksmith in exchange for a hand axe.

Looks like I'll have to ask Tonerie to buy back the ale. I wonder if she still has it.

As Luo An pondered this, he noticed that Levi's beard was quite messy.

He loved having a neatly groomed beard, which allowed him to maintain his dignity in front of the young men he admired.

The only possible reason for this is that Levi's is too busy.

He's too lazy to even groom his beard, so he must sleep very little.

"Mr. Levi, if you're staying up late, drink less alcohol; it's bad for your liver," Luo An advised.

Before he could finish speaking, Levi raised his hand and slapped Roan hard on the head.

"Luo An, a kid should act like a kid! Do you know how old you are? 17!"

"When I was seventeen, I was only focused on staring at women's butts! I didn't think about anything else."

"Let's go for a drink. That's an order!"

Without saying a word, Levi pulled Roan toward the tavern.

Along the way, everyone noticed Luo An's armor and stopped to stare at him with undisguised envy.

Luo An felt very uncomfortable, simply because he didn't want to be too conspicuous.

Levi held onto Roan firmly.

"Young man, hold your head high, that's what you deserve."

"Enjoy your glory and be proud of it. Who the hell would be a damn knight if it weren't for this moment?"

"Do you enjoy killing? Tell me, how many people did you kill on this mission?"

"Ten? Twenty?" Levi asked casually, but only Roan knew that Levi was being the most serious at that moment.

"About twenty. They're all damned robbers," Luo An answered honestly.

Excluding people, this should be the number; Luo An wasn't lying.

Levi breathed a slight sigh of relief. Roan was excellent; he didn't need to worry about Roan's martial arts skills or breathing techniques.

Even in combat, Luo An showed no discomfort whatsoever; his methods of killing could only be described as demonic.

Every time Roan went on a mission, Levi would review Roan's report and make appropriate modifications accordingly.

To prevent Roan from attracting the attention of the church and being eliminated as a fallen knight.

Fortunately, aside from that, Roan was practically perfect in every other aspect of the mission.

Even the goddess knights and church knights of the church praised Roan.

Only then was Levi completely relieved. He pulled Roan to a bustling tavern, went straight to the bar, and tossed out two copper coins.

"Excuse me, two glasses of ale."

"By the way, Luo An, haven't you ever had alcohol before? Do you prefer it sweeter or spicier?"

"A little sweeter," Roan thought, "it should be about the same as beer."

"Two glasses of sweet wine, old William, it's me, Levi, hurry up."

Old William, who was wiping beer bottles at the bar, accepted the copper coin and continued wiping the bottles.

Levi was somewhat puzzled.

"William, are you too old to hear me? Two glasses of sweet wine."

"Hmph, Levi's, you still haven't paid for the drinks from last time."
