Three documents were laid out on the table: a test report, process documents, and an equipment logbook. Zheng Shuyun had been organizing them until 11 p.m. last night. Every page was arranged in the correct order and neatly bound together.

Ye Bingwen opened the first document and mentally reviewed the key points of the report.

At seven o'clock, Mr. Li arrived, wearing a blue work uniform with the collar buttoned up tightly. Mr. Li smiled and asked Ye Bingwen, "Xiao Ye, is this outfit okay for me?"

Ye Bingwen nodded and replied, "Sure, you look better than I do." Master Li grinned and then went to the workshop.

At 7:30, Chen An arrived, wearing the Harbin Military Engineering Institute uniform and carrying a camera. Chen An said to Ye Bingwen, "Director Ye, Professor Cai said he would arrive around 10 o'clock. He also said not to wait for him, and to give his report as needed."

Ye Bingwen replied, "Okay."

At eight o'clock, Zheng Shuyun arrived. She had taken half a day off and was wearing the publishing house's uniform with her hair tied back, making her look neat and tidy.

Ye Bingwen looked at her and asked softly, "Did you send An'an to kindergarten?"

As Zheng Shuyun placed the notebook on the table, she replied with a smile, "I gave it to her. Before I left, she even told me, 'Dad, keep going!'"

At 8:30, Engineer Zhang arrived. He walked around the workshop, looked at the press, the mold rack, and the samples on the operating table. Engineer Zhang said to Ye Bingwen with a serious expression, "The expert group will arrive at 9 o'clock. It will be led by Director Zhou and consists of four people. When you report, first talk about the data on the production conditions and the test results, and then talk about the guarantee of production capacity. Don't beat around the bush. They don't have time to listen to your entrepreneurial story."

Ye Bingwen readily agreed, "Okay."

Zhang glanced at the watch again, then turned and went to wait at the factory gate.

Liu Xiaojun stood next to the press, his back ramrod straight. Ye Bingwen turned around, looked at Liu Xiaojun, and said, "Xiaojun, if the expert group asks you questions, answer what you know, and if you don't know, just say you don't know. Don't make things up."

Liu Xiaojun puffed out his chest and answered decisively, "I understand."

At 9:00 AM sharp, a jeep stopped at the factory gate. Director Zhou got out of the car, followed by three other people. Engineer Zhang went up to them and whispered a few words before leading them towards the workshop.

Ye Bingwen stood at the workshop entrance. When they approached, he smiled and extended his hand, saying, "Director Zhou, welcome." Director Zhou shook his hand in return and strode into the workshop.

Director Zhou started by examining the press. He carefully looked at the numbers on the temperature controller, the pointer on the pressure gauge, the molds on the mold rack, and the carbon fiber cloth on the worktable. He examined everything meticulously. Finally, he picked up a sample from the worktable, held it up, and asked, "Is this the carbon fiber sample you produced?"

Ye Bingwen nodded and said, "Yes, we made three samples in total, and their production conditions were all different. This one was made at 185 degrees Celsius for 70 minutes, and all the indicators are the best."

Director Zhou put down the sample, glanced at the card next to him, and said nothing. The three people behind him also came over to take a look.

After a while, Director Zhou turned to Ye Bingwen and asked, "I've reviewed the data. Can you guarantee that the quality of the mass-produced products will be the same as the samples?"

Without hesitation, Ye Bingwen replied, "Yes, the production conditions are already set, the raw material purchasing channels are stable, the operators are all qualified, and the inspection methods are complete."

Director Zhou nodded. As he walked to the office door, he asked, "Where are the documents?"

Ye Bingwen led him in and handed him the documents on the table.

Director Zhou sat down and flipped through the pages one by one. After about ten minutes, he closed the folder, looked up, and said, "Director Ye, we need to take the acceptance results back for further study. We will notify you within a week."

Ye Bingwen smiled and nodded, replying, "Okay."

Director Zhou stood up and casually remarked, "Your apprentice is standing very straight."

Ye Bingwen didn't react immediately. He was stunned for a moment, and Liu Xiaojun next to him blushed.

After Director Zhou and his men left, Engineer Zhang lagged behind. Once the car was far away, Engineer Zhang turned around, patted Ye Bingwen's arm, and said, "Little Ye, when Director Zhou praised your apprentice, he was actually praising your factory. He's not one to praise people easily."

Ye Bingwen pressed further, "Engineer Zhang, has the inspection been completed?"

Engineer Zhang waved his hand with a smile and said, "It's approved. Just wait for the official notification." Then he patted Ye Bingwen on the shoulder and instructed him, "Get ready for mass production."

After saying that, Engineer Zhang left.

Liu Xiaojun walked over from beside the press machine, leaned close to Ye Bingwen, and asked in a low voice, "Uncle Ye, did Director Zhou really praise me?"

Ye Bingwen patted him on the shoulder and said, "He complimented you, saying you stand up straight."

Liu Xiaojun scratched his head, puzzled, and asked, "Can that be considered a compliment?"

Ye Bingwen explained, "Yes, he's praising you for standing up straight, which means he's praising our factory for having good discipline."

After hearing this, Liu Xiaojun grinned.

Zheng Shuyun came out of the office, waving the notebook in her hand. She said, "I took notes on six pages. I'll organize them when I get back. Our president said I can send a message."

Ye Bingwen asked with some surprise, "Your president is in charge of this?"

Zheng Shuyun replied with a smile, "He said that the provincial military region's project could be considered news."

As soon as he finished speaking, Chen An ran out of the workshop and said, "Director Ye, I took more than thirty photos. I took photos of the expert group looking at the press, the samples, and the documents. Professor Cai said that the photos of the acceptance site need to be kept on file."

Ye Bingwen said, "Give me two copies after you develop them." Chen An nodded.

Ye Bingwen returned to his office, put away the documents on his desk, and locked them in the drawer. The inspection was considered complete. Next, he would have to start mass production, deliver the goods, and wait for the next batch of orders. One thing after another, but he was not flustered.

At noon, he rode his bicycle to school. Professor Zhao was teaching a course on "Mechanical Vibration," which covered the modal superposition method for systems with multiple degrees of freedom. Ye Bingwen sat in the third row, opened his notebook, and copied down the formulas one by one.

Liu Shengli sat down next to him and asked in a low voice, "Did it pass the inspection?"

Ye Bingwen said, "It's approved." Liu Shengli said, "Aren't you going to treat us?" Ye Bingwen said, "We'll talk about it after the official notification comes in."

Professor Zhao was writing on the blackboard when a piece of chalk broke off and fell to the ground. He bent down to pick it up and continued writing. After the bell rang, Professor Zhao closed his handouts, glanced at Ye Bingwen, and said, "Ye Bingwen, you can stay behind for a bit."
