Hunter x Hunter: Card Master, the Strongest in the World.

Chapter 143 A-Rank Nendoroid! The Strongest Rookie, Lynn!

One lap, two laps, three laps — before long, Mianying felt a sharp pain coming from his right arm; this was his limit.

If you keep spinning like that, not only will you not be able to hit the ball, but your arm will also be ruined.

Fortunately, he had spun around quite a few times. Looking at the massive amount of spiritual energy accumulated on his arm, which resembled a dazzling fireball radiating light, a sinister smile appeared on his face.

Then he stomped on the ground and charged toward Lynn like an arrow, his right hand shooting at Lynn like a cannonball!

"Go to hell!"

Seeing this, Lynn remained expressionless, simply drawing Hyōrinmaru with his backhand. A flash of light appeared, accompanied by a loud collision, as his fist and the blade clashed together.

Peng!

A powerful wave of energy surged outwards, making the figure's coat flutter loudly, and the light of his spiritual energy illuminated his terrified expression.

How could it be caught so easily!

He merged with the Phinks puppet and spun around several times using the "Rotation" technique. Even Hisoka couldn't possibly withstand that attack head-on!

Enhancement type, and a powerful enhancement type at that! Mianying thought subconsciously.

Lynn flicked his wrist, sending Hyōrinmaru soaring upwards. The immense force forced Myoukage back several meters before stopping, his feet leaving two straight scorch marks on the ground. Lynn then beckoned to Myoukage with a finger, saying expressionlessly, "Again."

Upon hearing this, Hisoka's face darkened.

That sounds familiar.

At this moment, Mianying's brain was buzzing, his pupils trembled as he looked at Lynn, and a thought that he could hardly accept surged into his mind.

His previous ideas were all based on the premise that Lynn's strength was inferior to Hisoka's, or at most equal to Hisoka's.

But what if it isn't?

From that attack just now, it's clear that in a head-on confrontation, he's definitely no match for Lynn—run!

In a mere 0 seconds, Mianying accepted that she was outmatched and resolved to run away as quickly as possible.

Of all things under the heavens and earth, nothing is more important than one's own life and safety!

As a sneaky old man who loves to hide and make "figures", Mianying deeply understands that the most important thing is to be alive.

As long as you're alive, there's hope; conversely, when you're dead, you lose everything.

The next moment, the figure feigned anger, pulled an unidentified doll from his pocket, merged with it, and began to unleash his spiritual energy. His right arm continued to rotate as he roared, "Who do you think I am? How could I possibly lose to you!"

Mianying thought to herself, "With his posture, anyone would think he's about to unleash his power."

As soon as he finished speaking, the figure turned and fled in the opposite direction at top speed, while the puppets such as Uvogin, Nobunaga and others stayed behind to restrain Lynn and Hisoka.

To save his life, he was willing to abandon the precious doll.

Lynn watched the figure disappear into the distance, unsurprised.

Based on Mianying's previous performance, it would be strange if she didn't run away now.

The puppet that the shadow chose to merge with seemed to be able to speed up, and in just a short while, he had widened the gap considerably.

Lynn raised his hand to block the fake Uvogin's attack and slashed him back with a slash. Then, Machi, Feitan, Nobunaga and other puppets rushed towards him.

Faced with the overwhelming number of people, Lynn remained silent, but quietly opened the third door, and the aura emanating from it rose even higher.

The psychic energy, like a rushing river, accumulated in the Ice Wheel Pill, and a dense, bone-chilling cold suddenly erupted.

In an instant, the icy blue crescent-shaped sword energy whistled past, and the figures of the group of puppets suddenly froze, then were cut in half at the waist, exploding like fireworks.

Lynn wiped out all six puppets in an instant with just one move!

These puppets have no eyes, so their strength is only about 30% of the original owner's, generally only around B-level. In front of him, they can be dealt with as easily as cutting melons and vegetables with just one move.

Not far away, the fleeing figure sensed something and immediately realized that its puppet had been destroyed in an instant.

Startled, he fled without stopping, disappearing into the dense woods near the house and running into the deep mountains.

The reason he chose this house was not only because it was secluded enough, but also because it was next to a deep forest where people could easily get lost. In case of danger, he could just run into it.

But before he could run far, he was overtaken by Lynn, whose body was filled with powerful Nen energy. Lynn jumped down from the big tree in front of him, and Hyōrinmaru flicked him lightly.

In an instant, a chilling aura surged through the air, and countless icy frosts on the ground transformed into thickets of thorns, freezing the central figure into a lifelike ice sculpture with an extremely realistic expression of terror.

"Wow, that's quite a runner." Lynn said calmly, looking at the figure that could no longer run, and then turned to look at the card that the figure had dropped.

【Name: Clay Doll】

[Grade: A]

[Type: Ability Card]

[Background: One Piece]

[Introduction: Originating from a portion of the Paramecia-type Clay Fruit's power in the One Piece world, its effects can be enhanced with development, specifically having two effects. Effect 1: Temporary Doll, consumes Nen to maintain the doll's existence. Effect 2: Permanent Doll, only requires initial Nen consumption, can exist indefinitely, but needs to absorb more than 90% of the original body; current production limit: 3]

It wasn't in vain that he came all this way; Mianying gave him an A-grade card.

【Clay Doll】is derived from the 【Clay Fruit】 in the One Piece world. It is essentially only a part of the fruit's power, but it is enhanced on that basis.

He can create dolls that are exactly the same as those he has met.

However, the puppet's strength and abilities are related to the gap between his strength and that of the original, as well as his understanding of the original.

Lynn raised an eyebrow. Seeing that no one was around, it was a good environment for the experiment. He immediately activated the card, and with a slight thought, a large amount of milky white clay appeared in his hands. A moment later, Hisoka, made of clay, appeared in front of him.

From the outside, it is indeed exactly the same as Hisoka, even the pattern on the clothes is identical.

"Punch me," Lynn said bluntly.

The Hisoka puppet was very obedient. It raised its hand and threw a straight punch, which Lynn easily caught, giving him a rough estimate of the puppet's strength.

Hisoka's strength is at A-level, while this puppet is only at B-level.

The Hisoka doll then demonstrated "Boundless Love" and "Thin Illusion," which pleased Lynn considerably.

Although the puppet's strength is a bit lacking, it's worth it as long as it can use Nen abilities. Of course, the effectiveness of the Nen abilities will also be affected, and it can't compare to the original body.

He was responsible for all the Nen expenditure of the temporary puppet. If the Hisoka puppet was just doing normal activities, then it only needed to maintain the basic Nen consumption. However, if it entered a battle state or even used Nen abilities, it would require a large amount of Nen consumption.

But there is some good news as well.

The puppet is essentially made of clay, so when he cut off Hisoka's arm, what was exposed was a viscous clay cross-section, not normal flesh and blood. The arm also turned into clay after falling to the ground.

Even if a puppet is beheaded, it can still grow a head and continue fighting, at the cost of consuming Nen energy.

Lynn casually removed the Hisoka doll and instead created the Netero doll.

The difference between people is greater than the difference between people and dogs.

If the Nen he consumed when making the Hisoka doll was calculated in units of 5, then the Nen he consumed when making the Netero doll would be 50 units, almost ten times that of Hisoka.

Lynn made Nitro in five seconds.

There are still no flaws in appearance, and the strength is also very impressive, with A-rank strength, but unfortunately, he cannot use Nen.

This is roughly the maximum number of puppets he can create.

The puppet's strength will not exceed his current strength.

With his current Nen ability, he can only maintain a maximum of two A-rank puppets, and only one in battle mode.

In summary, temporary dolls can use Nen abilities, but their strength is lower than that of the original and will not exceed it. They can expend Nen energy to regenerate limbs. However, if the difference in strength between the doll and the original is too great or if the doll does not have a sufficient understanding of the original, the doll's strength will be much weaker and it will be difficult for it to use Nen abilities.

However, this is not something that cannot be changed.

The clay dolls also retain some of the characteristics of Devil Fruits, and their potential can be increased with continuous use and development.

He can also create more perfect dolls by improving his own strength and deepening his understanding of others.

Perhaps in the future he will be able to create a doll with exactly the same strength and abilities as the original, or even surpass it.

Thinking of this, Lynn suddenly remembered his Sharingan. The three-tomoe Sharingan could greatly [see] and [imitate] others, which was a great ability to deepen understanding.

From now on, he can activate his Sharingan to observe others, memorize every detail of them, and make making dolls easier and more perfect.

Sharingan + Nendoroid, that's the perfect combination for creating a clone!

As the number of cards increased, they could be combined in various ways. After careful consideration, Lynn thought of the [Fantasy Simulation Helmet].

In reality, he may not be able to meet more people or gain specific insights, but he can observe his opponents in simulated battles and then create dolls in reality afterward.

In particular, with the helmet upgrade, there may be opponents from other worlds, so the puppets he can create will no longer be limited to the Hunter world.

However, this can only create temporary dolls.

The permanent doll needs to absorb the bodies of others, which sounds similar to the [Imitation Doll] he used on Illumi before.

Lynn snapped out of his daze and his gaze fell on the face that had turned into an ice sculpture.

Isn't this an excellent target for a permanent doll?

Regardless of Mianying's strength, his Nen ability, God's Puppet, was truly impressive. He had considered whether to keep Mianying for future use.

[Enemy Controller] He was taken in as a puppet.

But having to spend at least one A-rank card made him feel it wasn't worth it.

Fortunately, we can now transform the Shadow's corpse into a permanent puppet. We'll use him as the first test subject, and later we can indirectly use the [God's Puppet] through him.

In a split second, Lynn came up with the old trick.

He controls the shadow puppet, which in turn controls the puppet's movements, allowing him to easily detach himself from the puppet's body, making him impossible for anyone to find.

The ice melted quickly.

Lynn waved his hand, and clumps of clay devoured the mask, instantly transforming it back into the mask's form. His strength was B.

At level 1, one can also use Nen abilities.

Because they devoured and utilized the original corpses, permanent dolls bleed normally when injured, and their body structure is the same as that of normal people. However, this also means that they cannot regenerate limbs, and once they die, they are gone forever and cannot be remade.

Seeing this, Lynn first told Shadow to find a place to hide and continue making puppets, to use him again if needed.

Becoming a permanent doll means you can't create them anytime, anywhere like temporary dolls, which has both advantages and disadvantages.

Watching the figure depart, Lynn also set off to return.

This trip was definitely worthwhile. Although he only explored it briefly, he could see that the clay dolls had great potential.

As expected of a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, what's even more amazing is that it appears in this way, so he doesn't have to bear the cost of eating the Devil Fruit.

If Devil Fruits appear in the future, he can still eat them normally.

Soon Lynn saw Hisoka and Kurapika waiting for him. They both breathed a sigh of relief when they saw him.

Kurapika felt relieved because his master was safe and sound.

Hisoka was relieved because his life was spared.

Although he knew that with Lynn's strength, nothing unexpected should happen, he was still worried about the possibility of something going wrong. If something did happen, where would he find the antidote?

"Here's your payment. That's all for now." Lynn tossed a bottle of antidote to Hisoka.

The latter, as if he had found a treasure, immediately opened it, drank it, and then left—the crisis was over, and he should get on with his business.

Lynn also left with Kurapika, heading towards the Sky Arena.

His goal upon returning to the Sky Arena is to become the strongest tower master!

a few days later.

The entrance to the Sky Arena was packed with people.

Having arrived at the Sky Arena for the battle, Xiao Jie and Qi Luguo, who were about to receive instruction from Yun Gu, peeked around and quickly disappeared into the crowd, only to discover that the person being interviewed at the heart of the crowd was none other than Lynn.

"Hello everyone, today we're interviewing Mr. Lynn, who quickly became the thread leader a few months ago and is known as the 'strongest newcomer'!"

A pretty reporter stood next to Lynn, holding a microphone, and smiled at the camera next to her.

"Mr. Lynn has truly made a name for himself."

"His achievements are probably familiar to everyone. In just two months, he went from a newcomer to the owner of the 238th floor, breaking many records in the Sky Arena."

"In the last challenge against the landlord, Mr. Lynn defeated the original landlord of the 238th floor in just one round. To this day, no one knows his true strength!"

"And today, I heard that Mr. Lynn has something important to announce to everyone."

At this point, the reporter handed the microphone to Lynn, somewhat anticipating what he would say.

At this moment, the reporter was unaware that Lynn's words would generate unprecedented buzz!

In the crowd, Xiao Jie shook Qi Ya's shoulder excitedly and said, "Qi Ya, did you see that? That's Mr. Lynn."

"I never expected him to be the owner of the Sky Arena."

"I see, my eyes are still normal." Qi was speechless, and he was indeed a little surprised that Lynn was the owner of the building, but then he thought it was normal, after all, his strength was extraordinary.
