Legendary Captain

Star Travel Aviation Pilot Recruitment Office.

"Have you read the contract carefully? If there are no problems, just sign it here." The staff member from the recruitment office pointed to a blank space on the contract and instructed Xu Xian on where to sign.

Xu Xian recently applied for a job at Xingyou Airlines. After a period of reviewing Xu Xian's credentials and qualifications, today is finally the day to sign the contract.

Xu Xian's situation is different from most trainees in the training program. He completed his flight training on his own elsewhere, obtained his private pilot's license, instrument rating endorsement, and commercial pilot's license, and passed the ATPL exam, which allows him to apply directly to airlines.

Because he wasn't a trainee of Xingyou Airlines, it took more time to verify Xu Xian's credentials and qualifications, making Xu Xian wonder if there were problems with the license, flight records, and exam results he submitted.

However, after waiting for several days, nothing unexpected happened.

"From now on, your company intranet account will be the pinyin of your name, without any numbers. The initial password is one to nine. After the first login, the account will be activated. Within three months, you must change the password as required, otherwise the account will be locked. Remember that?" The staff member from the recruitment office explained some important matters to Xu Xian while checking the contract for any omissions.

The company's intranet account is extremely important information for an employee, and no mistakes can be made, which is why the staff specifically mentioned it.

"Okay, all done, no problems." The staff member confirmed the contract was correct, processed it on the computer, and then handed Xu Xian a white card: "This is a temporary work badge, take it for now. Without this card, some electronic doors in the building won't open. The official work badge is being made, and we'll notify you when it's ready. Please check your email. Your information has been entered into the company system, and you should be able to find your information in the company's intranet employee information search. Now you're a member of Xingyou Airlines."

Xu Xian put away his temporary work badge, his heart filled with mixed feelings. He had initially taught himself to fly out of a momentary interest, but now it had become his livelihood.

"For the uniforms, go to the warehouse; for the boarding passes, go to the security department."

"What about the training after disembarking?"

"If you're going to do squadron training, you'll need to find the flight caliber!"

"Flying darts?" Xu Xian was still not very familiar with the various departments.

The staff member noticed Xu Xian's confusion and pointed him in the right direction: "It's diagonally opposite this building; there's a sign at the entrance."

"Okay, sure!"

"Everything's fine here! If you need to go fly the darts, go ahead!"

"Thank you!" Xu Xian said, then packed his things and headed out the door.

Xu Xian had barely left when Fu Xing, the assistant to the trainees, arrived.

"Who was that just now?" Fu Xing handed a stack of documents to the staff member and casually asked about Xu Xian's identity.

"The new guy is here to sign the contract."

Fu Xing was taken aback: "A contract? That information has already been entered into the company system?"

"Yeah! What's wrong?" The staff member was also a little confused by Fu Xing's words.

Fu Xing asked anxiously, "Is he also going to take the exam that the flight department issued a while ago, which covers all employees? His name has already been entered into the company system, so doesn't that mean he's considered a trainee of our company?"

"Okay...that seems to be true! But he just reported for duty? He hasn't even received his flight manual yet, how can he take the test?"

Fu Xing slapped his thigh: "How should I know! Wouldn't it have been better if you had notified him to come over to sign the contract tomorrow? Now he's embarrassed, and I'm embarrassed too."

Today is the last day of the exam period. If Xu Xian were to sign the contract tomorrow, he wouldn't actually need to take the exam. It just shows he wasn't very lucky.

"What should we do then? If he takes the exam now, he's guaranteed to fail."

"If he doesn't take the exam, then I'm guilty of failing to properly notify him, and I'll be punished. There's nothing I can do; he'll just have to hope for the best." Fu Xing gritted his teeth and said, "By the way, what's his name? I'll go call him!"

"Your name, right?" The staff member flipped through the contract: "Xu Xian, Xu for two people, Xian for obvious."

"Xu Xian?" Fu Xing was stunned. "He's Xu Xian?"
