Chapter 326 3 o'clock position! Missile! Missile!

Chapter 326 Three o'clock! Missile! Missile!

"You? Why didn't I receive a notification?" Xu Xian looked at Wang Qi suspiciously. He strongly suspected that Wang Qi was deliberately trying to fool him, after all, the two had some unpleasantness before.

Wang Qi laughed, "The matter was urgent, and I didn't have time to inform you. Wait, you don't think I'm spreading false information, do you? Although this isn't the military, it still strictly adheres to rules. Impersonating an instructor is a serious matter. Would I really commit such a big mistake just because of a small disagreement with you before?"

Xu Xian thought about it and realized it made sense. To pilot a fighter jet without a plan would be tantamount to suicide. Looking at Wang Qi's cheerful and simple-minded appearance, he probably wasn't the kind of person who would lose his mind.

Moreover, if it were truly Wang Qi spreading false information, he wouldn't have passed the checkpoint for allowing passage. In short, the possibility of Wang Qi deceiving people is practically nonexistent.

"Even if it's true, can you train me? Do you have instructor qualifications? I have serious doubts about just anyone popping up and offering to train me." Like in civil aviation, not all pilots can train students. What if something goes wrong? That's why the instructor level exists. Looking at Wang Qi's nonchalant attitude, Xu Xian strongly doubted whether this guy had any instructor qualifications. Besides, Wang Qi didn't look old; he shouldn't be very old. Could such a young pilot really be promoted to instructor? Xu Xian didn't believe it.

"What you're saying," Wang Qi clicked his tongue. "You should ask who in the Luohang Flight Squadron isn't an instructor?"

Xu Xian narrowed his eyes: "What do you mean?"

"You should know that most of the pilots in our Luohang Flight Squadron are experienced pilots recruited by the Air Force. They are all Air Force elites, and most of them have instructor training qualifications. Conversely, those without instructor qualifications are in the minority here. It's just that we rarely have pilots like you who are recruited from outside the military, so we don't usually have any training flight missions. However, even though we rarely train pilots, it doesn't mean we aren't instructors, understand?"

Xu Xian's lips twitched a few times: "So, even if I go to the base and bring someone along, seven or eight out of ten will be instructors, and they might be the ones leading me in training?"

"That's the general idea, so you have to be polite to us. Basically, every pilot in this base has the potential to become your teacher, understand?" Wang Qi said smugly.

Strictly speaking, Xu Xian's training on different aircraft types is the responsibility of the squadron leaders. For example, since Xu Xian is currently learning the C-16, Wang Chenchen, the squadron leader of the second squadron that primarily flies the C-16, is responsible for training him. However, squadron leaders have many duties, and there might be a situation like today where someone else has to be assigned to train Xu Xian. And it seems there are instructors everywhere at the base. Doesn't that mean Wang Qi's statement that all the pilots here could potentially become Xu Xian's instructor is a possibility that could become a reality?

Xu Xian felt a chill run down his spine. If this were to become a reality, wouldn't he suddenly be half a generation lower in seniority than all the other pilots at the base?

In the aviation community, it's a tradition that even after students advance to higher ranks, they must maintain full respect for the instructors who have trained them. Just like many commercial airline captains still treat their flight school mentors with courtesy, this phenomenon is extremely common in the industry.

Even if someone like Wang Qi temporarily stepped in to take over and train me, strictly speaking, he can't be considered my master. But he still trained me and taught me. I can't be too disrespectful to him in the future, otherwise it would be easy to break the rules.

"I'm really... I'm definitely going to be the youngest in terms of seniority now?" Xu Xian sighed, sounding rather resentful.

"Not bad, not bad, you're sensible. You know you're the youngest, hahaha!" Wang Qi chuckled. "Just keep at it. When new people come later, you won't be the youngest anymore."

Xu Xian rolled his eyes: "If you like to endure it, then you do it yourself! But, since you're leading the flight today, are there any changes to the training schedule?"

This training mainly focused on two-aircraft formation flying, which is relatively simple. Not that two-aircraft formation flying is difficult, but rather that the training process is quite straightforward. A long time ago, so-called two-aircraft formation flying simply involved an experienced instructor leading a new pilot through a few laps in local airspace before landing.

That's right, it just circled around the airspace near the venue a few times and then came down. In terms of procedure, it's that simple.

However, the intensity and simulation of training now are incomparable to what they used to be. Each exercise is more realistic and more demanding than the last, leading to a rapid increase in training requirements for pilots. Basic training like formation flying, where pilots could simply complete a few laps, is no longer possible; training time for these exercises is now significantly longer.

"Captain Wang already told me that the training content remains the same. Today's main focus is on two-aircraft formation flying, supplemented by air-launched target drone training. It's going to be a bit long, and even the formation flying is a bit of a waste of time." Ye Qing beckoned to Xu Xian, signaling him to sit down, and the two discussed the training content in advance.

No flight training is just a demonstration in the air. The training content, key points of operation, possible mistakes and expected requirements should be explained during the ground preparation phase.

Otherwise, we can't just wait until we're in the air to talk about these things over the radio! That's what we call air-ground integration!

"Target practice drones? Is it time to put them on the order? Has it been approved?" Xu Xian remembered that there hadn't been any air-to-ground target drone training before; this must have been added at the last minute. But thinking about it, it made sense; spending three hours of flight time training a two-plane formation seemed a bit wasteful.

This training program might be quite suitable for some newly recruited pilots who have no prior flying experience. Familiarizing them with formation flying is secondary; honing their flying skills is the top priority, and three hours simply isn't enough time for them to practice.

However, Xu Xian's situation was different. He already had a solid foundation in flying, even though the aircraft models were quite different. But the basic principles of flying are the same; there are many paths to Rome. Therefore, Xu Xian didn't have as much need to hone his flying skills.

After experiencing about twenty hours of actual flight training, Xu Xian was already able to operate the C16 aircraft with considerable precision, which is the difference between having a foundation and not having one. The focus of formation flight training is the precision of flight, and Xu Xian has already done quite well in this aspect. Therefore, he only needs to practice the reconnaissance, decoy, and cover work as a wingman.

As the most basic unit of combat flight, a two-aircraft formation must have a primary and secondary aircraft, namely the lead aircraft and the wingman. Generally speaking, the lead aircraft is filled by a more experienced senior pilot, while the wingman is filled by a relatively less experienced junior pilot. Of course, this distinction between senior and junior pilots is relative. It does not mean that the junior pilot here is necessarily a true "newbie" who has just started soloing, but rather that the wingman pilot's experience and skills are slightly weaker than those of the lead aircraft pilot.

In some highly configured two-aircraft formations, the pilot who serves as the wingman might be able to take on the role of the lead aircraft in another formation. Therefore, a pilot's ability cannot be determined solely by the lead or wingman assignment.

In actual combat, generally speaking, the lead aircraft initiates the attack, while the wingman is responsible for reconnaissance, providing the lead aircraft with information about enemy aircraft. Sometimes, the wingman even acts as decoy to create a favorable attack environment for the lead aircraft. Furthermore, protecting the lead aircraft is a crucial mission for every wingman. When necessary, the wingman must also actively participate in the combat to provide cover and interception for the lead aircraft.

In some situations, the wingman also needs to share the guidance work with the lead aircraft. For example, for a semi-guided missile, the fighter jet needs to provide guidance in the initial stage of its flight. At this time, the fighter jet's maneuverability is limited, and its situation is relatively more dangerous. In this case, after launching the missile, the lead aircraft can distribute the initial guidance work to the wingman via data link, allowing the wingman to perform the initial guidance, thus freeing up the lead aircraft.

So, to sum it up, a wingman is essentially a tool for the lead aircraft—no, a workhorse!

Of course, in certain situations, the attack authority may switch between the lead and wingman aircraft, with the wingman initiating the attack. In aerial combat, the battlefield situation changes rapidly. If the wingman is in a more favorable attacking environment, the lead aircraft should not be rigidly followed in attacking; instead, the attack should be flexibly switched to the wingman.

Therefore, the coordination between the lead and wingman is paramount. In some cases, the pilots of the lead and wingman are even specifically paired up to fly together, in order to hone their coordination.

However, given that Xu Xian has only been flying for a short time, it's not yet time for him to consider having a fixed partner.

"Originally, I was thinking of forming a four-plane formation with another two-person team, which would have been more valuable for training. However, after contacting a group, I couldn't find any suitable candidates, so I had to add an extra training session with an air-launched target drone," Wang Qi said.

Strictly speaking, a four-aircraft formation should be a double-double formation, which is composed of two double-aircraft formations combined into a four-aircraft formation. This is why the double-aircraft formation is the most basic unit of air combat, because many other formation operations can be derived from the double-aircraft formation.

In a four-aircraft formation, there is usually a lead aircraft that commands the entire formation. In a two-aircraft formation, there is a second lead aircraft that commands its own two-aircraft formation. As the size of the formation increases, the difficulty of coordination also increases, making the training more valuable.

Although two-aircraft formations can generate a large number of formations, due to certain deficiencies in their sustained firepower, they are usually only used as the main force for expulsion and interception missions. For active strikes, except for certain precise special operations, it is relatively rare to use two-aircraft formations alone to carry out missions.

Large-scale group operations like those of the past are now rare, so a four-aircraft formation is a more suitable and versatile combat unit, which is quite meaningful for training.

With the number of fighter jets doubled, three hours of training for a four-plane formation was far from sufficient. Unfortunately, the Luoyang Aircraft Corporation didn't have a suitable two-plane formation to train with Xu Xian. Therefore, they had to increase training with air-to-target drones.

"As for the application for live-fire training, that definitely needs to be approved. Without higher-ups' approval, who would dare to use live ammunition?" Wang Qi said speechlessly. "But this should be your first time using live ammunition, right? Tsk tsk tsk, it's better to be here at Luohang. In the military, with your current rank, how could you possibly be allowed to use live ammunition?"

No matter what, real missiles cost a lot of money. Money doesn't just fall from the sky, so how could we possibly have live-fire training all the time? At Xu Xian's current rank in the regular air force, he can only conduct simulated launches; he hasn't even reached the point of using live ammunition yet.

However, the Los Angeles Airlines fleet is very arrogant. All simulations are just for show; when it comes to doing things, they do it for real.

However, live-fire training isn't something you can just do whenever you want. After all, live ammunition is lethal, and under normal circumstances, how could you possibly bring a lethal weapon into the air without permission? If you did that, it wouldn't just be arrogant, it would be outrageous!

Therefore, all training exercises involving live ammunition must be submitted to higher authorities for approval. That's why questions like "Has it been approved?" are asked.

Xu Xian was slightly surprised: "It's approved already? That was fast?"

The training with the air-launched target drone was clearly added on short notice, but the application for live-fire training has already been approved. The efficiency is too high.

"How could this be fake? Our Luohang fleet conducts live-fire training frequently, so our efficiency is also higher." Wang Qi continued, "This time there are a total of four live rounds, two Eagle Sparrows and two Viper missiles. We'll check them later."

"Eagle? So you're not flying Type A today? You're flying Type C?" Xu Xian asked, puzzled.

The Eagle Sparrow is a type of air-to-air radar-guided semi-guided missile, but the C-16 A variant does not have suitable hardpoints to carry it; only the C variant can. Xu Xian previously thought the A variant would be used, but since the Eagle Sparrow missile is to be carried, the A variant is definitely not feasible, so it must have been replaced with the C variant.

Actually, there is also a single-seat E version of the C-16, which can also carry Eagle Sparrow missiles, but this model is not available here.

"Definitely!" Wang Qi said, "This time, let's switch the order of our training exercises. After takeoff, we'll fly to airspace number three for target practice. After that, we'll come back and do two-aircraft formation flight training. How about that?"

Xu Xian instinctively asked, "Why?"

"This target drone training was added at the last minute. The target drone department managed to squeeze out some time, so let's finish this training first so they can move on to other things," Wang Qi explained. "Anyway, it doesn't matter which comes first, right?"

Xu Xian said that he could accept the situation where the order was simply changed, since it was all the same anyway.

"Alright, let's talk about the training details."

After finishing their briefing in the briefing room, Xu Xian and Wang Qi went to the tarmac together. The maintenance crew had been waiting for a long time. When Xu Xian got closer, he saw that even the mounting was done, which was incredibly efficient.

"Two eagles and two vipers, look at that!" the maintenance worker laughed. "Oh, and this time we also added two auxiliary fuel tanks."

Xu Xian glanced at the auxiliary fuel tanks on both sides and nodded: "Hmm."

Xu Xian immediately conducted the necessary inspections of his aircraft, and after verifying that everything was in order, he signed to confirm it, which is quite similar to civil aviation. Civil aviation also requires the maintenance crew to sign off on the documents.

Once in the cockpit, Xu Xian began preparations. After a period of practice, Xu Xian had mastered the flight preparation process and was now quite adept at it.

After getting into the cockpit and checking that the fuel system was normal, I turned on the navigation lights, switched on the main power, and applied the brakes. Because the aircraft was carrying two external fuel tanks and had a relatively heavy load, I had to switch the flight control overload to CATIII, which is heavy load mode, unlike usual.

Then I turned on the air conditioner and set the tower frequency. This is different from major commercial airports, which have separate aprons, ground control, and control towers. Here, there's only one control tower frequency; you just need to contact the tower for any issues.

"Zhiyang, stop position 01, 054 requests engine start."

"054, start-up is permitted, wind direction 010, wind speed 1 meter."

The control tower quickly approved Xu Xian's start request, and Xu Xian began starting the engine, following the same procedure. He switched to start position 2, and when the engine speed reached 20%, he put the throttle at idle. While waiting for the engine to stabilize, he closed the hatch and then performed some system settings.

The rest of the steps remain largely unchanged, except that this time there's a mount point, so the ST/STA mount system needs to be activated. Additionally, since this flight is in coordination with Wang Qi, the multi-functional information distribution system also needs to be activated to facilitate data link transmission.

Next comes the inertial navigation calibration, which usually takes eight minutes. This time is just enough to conduct some system tests.

Looking at the numerous foreign language labels in the cockpit, Xu Xian had some thoughts. After all, the C-16 was a copy of a foreign fighter jet, even using foreign languages for equipment labels. However, the C-20 was said to be completely domestically produced, with all equipment in its cockpit standardized in Chinese. Xu Xian was quite eager to fly the C-20.

However, trying to learn too much at once is counterproductive. Xu Xian learned one aircraft model at a time instead of trying to learn everything in a haphazard way, and in the end, he didn't master anything.

After completing some system tests, you also need to check the mounting status on the mounting management page of the digital display. The mounting management page of the digital display will not only show the missile mounting, but also the two external fuel tanks. You must confirm on it that the actual mounting is the same as the expected mounting, and there can be no deviation.

Here's an interesting point: when Xu Xian first flew this aircraft with Ye Qing, he always thought fighter jets turned using the rudder. He later learned that the C-16 actually uses the nose wheel and differential brakes for taxiing. Therefore, before taxiing, the nose wheel button on the top right side of the control stick needs to be activated; otherwise, the nose wheel won't work, and the aircraft cannot turn. This nose wheel button also functions as the missile switching button when in the air.

With enough practice, ground preparation becomes much easier, and you'll only get faster.

After completing all preparations, Xu Xian contacted the control tower: "Zhiyang, 054 requests taxiing to runway 01."

"054, you may taxi to runway 01."

At the same time, Wang Qi's call sign 031 also began contacting the control tower, requesting taxiing.

Since Wang Qi was the lead aircraft and there was only one taxiway, Xu Xian waited a moment and let Wang Qi go first, while he followed behind.

After the two aircraft begin to move, a green circle can be seen on the horizontal position display on the right-hand digital display. This is the position data transmitted by the lead aircraft, where Wang Qi is located.

This time, two aircraft will take off again. After the two aircraft enter the runway, they will be 50 meters apart front and rear and 30 meters apart horizontally.

"031, ground wind 010, 2 meters, runway 01 cleared for takeoff, field pressure 999, after takeoff ascend to 3,000 altitude, fly directly to airspace number 3, maintain constant position." The control tower gave Wang Qi takeoff clearance first, followed by Xu Xian.

After receiving clearance to take off, Xu Xian accelerated and released the brakes. This time it wasn't an emergency takeoff, so there was no need for afterburner; a normal takeoff would suffice.

With a thunderous roar of engines, the two C16C fighter jets accelerated rapidly and took off at an almost constant interval.

On the control tower, in addition to the controllers, Wang Chenchen, the captain of the second squadron, was also watching.

"That was such a smooth takeoff; it didn't look like a rookie pilot at all," Wang Chenchen exclaimed.

The controller chuckled, "Xu Xian has a solid foundation; with a little training, this result is to be expected. By the way, Captain Wang, when is your flight? Don't miss the division meeting."

"A car will be here to pick me up at the airport in about twenty minutes. No rush, I just happened to be passing by." Wang Chenchen laughed. "Hey, Chen Zhan from the Third Division was supposed to come here too, but Yan Yue just wouldn't agree. It's driving me crazy."

"She's a young lady from this area, not someone to be trifled with," the supervisor said with a smile.

This flight base was established under the leadership of Zhao Yanyue's father, so although Zhao Yanyue is only the director of the general affairs department here, her position is very special.

"I really don't know what Chen Zhan did to offend Yan Yue," Wang Chenchen said with a headache. "I heard that Chen Zhan had only been at the Third Division for a short time when he fixed a flap malfunction during training and earned a third-class merit. He's really a promising talent, what a pity!"

"There's nothing we can do about it. Otherwise, with Chen Zhan and Xu Xian on our side, things would be much better." Guan Zhi also expressed his regret.

"Hey," Wang Chenchen turned to the control officer and said, "The drills from above have been getting increasingly difficult lately. The Third Master is under a lot of pressure right now, and they might need to ask for our cooperation at any time. You should remind your apprentices to be on their best during this period, so that they won't be unable to handle things when things really get tough."

For some reason, inspections of various combat units have become more frequent and demanding lately, sometimes even overwhelming the 3rd Division. The Luoyang Aircraft Carrier Battalion is nominally under the 3rd Division, so when the 3rd Division is overwhelmed, they will definitely need to request assistance from the Luoyang Aircraft Carrier Battalion.

The person speaking to Wang Chenchen now is the veteran controller here. The new controllers below are basically his apprentices. His reminders to the controllers are more effective.

The controller immediately nodded: "Yes, yes!"

In the sky, Xu Xian, who had just taken off, briefly created some distance before leveling off and quickly catching up with Wang Qi, maintaining the required distance.

"054, wingman in position!" After arriving at and maintaining the designated position, Xu Xian reported his location to Wang Qi.

"031, altitude continues to rise above 6,000, heading 210, reporting from airspace number three."

"Altitude 6,000, heading 210, reporting to airspace number three." After replying, Wang Qi immediately pulled up and turned, while Xu Xian followed Wang Qi and began flying towards airspace number three.

Airspace No. 3 is a designated airspace for target practice; only in that airspace can corresponding air-to-air training be conducted.

The fighter jet's climb performance was undoubtedly excellent, and it quickly climbed to an altitude of 6,000 meters and maintained it.

Airspace No. 3 is not far from the airport, about 80 nautical miles away. During this level flight, Wang Qi thought he would first talk to Xu Xian about the control procedures.

These things have been mentioned below, but experiencing them in person should provide a better understanding.

So Wang Qi said to Xu Xian, "Xu Xian, go past me and get to a place eight nautical miles ahead of me."

Xu Xian is currently positioned to the side and slightly behind Wang Qi, which is why Wang Qi told Xu Xian to pass him.

"What?" Xu Xian asked. However, Xu Xian still carried out the lead aircraft's orders seriously and began to accelerate past Wang Qi.

"You've never tried the C-16's weapon system before, so let's give you a taste of radar warning before we reach Airspace Three," Wang Qi said with a smile. "You probably haven't heard it on a real aircraft yet. Also, let's review the missile launch procedure for later."

"Oh, I see!" Xu Xian finally understood what was going on.

The eight-nautical-mile distance quickly closed in. At this moment, Wang Qi explained to Xu Xian over the channel: "After entering airspace number three, the radar will detect the target drone signal and display it on the digital display on the left. This is training, and you know that signal is a target drone that needs to be shot down. However, in a real combat environment, we need to first identify it as friend or foe. We should have learned this in the ground training before. Use the target management button to adjust the radar cursor position to the target signal and track it. If it is a friendly aircraft, a green circle will appear on its signal. If not, combine the information provided by the AWACS aircraft, and the two can be combined to determine that it is an enemy aircraft. We don't have an AWACS aircraft to assist us in this training, so we won't go into that."

In actual combat, early warning aircraft are usually used in conjunction to provide pilots with information on the range of enemy aircraft.

For example, an early warning aircraft might inform a pilot that there is an enemy aircraft 90 nautical miles to the southwest. If the aircraft's radar also displays an unidentified flying object signal to the southwest without any friendly aircraft signal, then it can be confirmed that this is the enemy aircraft.

It's not like we see something on the radar and just go up and launch a missile without thinking twice.

"Once it's confirmed to be an enemy aircraft, you can press the target management button to lock onto and track it," Wang Qi said.

The target management button is located on the joystick, below the weapon fire button. It's a four-way button; moving it in different directions (up, down, left, right) produces different effects. The operation of this target management button alone could fill a book.

These operating procedures had been explained by the instructors during the in-person classes. However, this was the first time Xu Xian was experiencing them on a real machine.

"After locking onto the enemy aircraft, press the air-to-air mode button on the top control panel (UFC), select the Eagle Sparrow missile on the mount page, and then you can launch it. Xu Xian, feel what it's like to be locked on, hehe!" As he spoke, Wang Qi manipulated the radar to lock onto Xu Xian in front of him. On the head-up display, Xu Xian's aircraft was now surrounded by a green circle, and the distance and approach rate to Xu Xian's aircraft were also displayed.

When the proximity rate is positive, it means that the two aircraft are close to each other; when it is negative, it means that the two aircraft are moving away from each other.

At this moment, Wang Qi's plane was moving at a slightly higher speed than Xu Xian's, so it appeared as a smaller approach rate on the head-up display.

Below the proximity display, there is a rectangular half-frame display with the letters T21 below it. The "T" indicates that Wang Qi is close enough to Xu Xian to activate active radar guidance after launch. In other words, Wang Qi can leave the missile alone after launch and does not need to perform initial radar guidance.

The 21 represents the estimated time of impact calculated by the computer. In other words, it is estimated that the missile will hit the enemy aircraft 21 seconds after launch.

If it displays "A", it means that after the missile is launched, Wang Qi needs to provide guidance for the missile for a period of time. The number after "A" indicates the guidance time required.

For example, A10 means that after the missile is launched, Wang Qi cannot leave immediately and needs to provide the missile with approximately ten seconds of initial guidance. Once A changes to T, he can stop worrying about it.

Since the two machines are not particularly far apart, the initial boot process can be ignored. However, if the two machines are very close together, even if they are still relatively far apart, the initial boot process might be skipped entirely.

Sure enough, after Wang Qi locked onto Xu Xian, Xu Xian's radar warning device started to sound an alarm.

"Can I disengage the radar by maneuvering?" Xu Xian suddenly asked curiously.

"Why don't you give it a try? You can do whatever you want," Wang Qi said with a smile.

"Great!" Xu Xian also became interested and reported to the control tower, "Zhiyang, I'll make a move."

Immediately, Xu Xian began to increase the gradient, attempting to break free from the radar lock. Xu Xian knew that in most cases, maneuvering wouldn't disengage the radar, but it wasn't entirely impossible. He simply wanted to experience it firsthand.

As Xu Xian was maneuvering, Wang Qi saw that they were almost at the designated airspace. He immediately set up the air-to-air mode and selected an Eagle Sparrow missile, which he planned to launch first to set an example for Xu Xian.

During this process, Wang Qi glanced at the weapon safety and, after confirming that it was not activated, felt relieved.

"Xu Xian, that's enough of that. Get ready, we're about to enter airspace number three," Wang Qi said.

Suddenly, Wang Qi's fighter jet encountered a turbulence, and the plane jolted violently. Wang Qi's thumb accidentally pressed the weapon launch button.

Wang Qi realized he had accidentally pressed the weapon fire button, but he wasn't too worried. The weapon safety wasn't off, so pressing it wouldn't have made a difference.

Suddenly, Wang Qi saw a long trail of smoke streak shooting out from his direction—the Eagle Sparrow missile had been launched. At that moment, the radar was locked onto Xu Xian's aircraft.

At that moment, Xu Xian was maneuvering diagonally towards Wang Qi when suddenly the radar warning alarm became increasingly urgent. Xu Xian frowned: "This doesn't seem like a tracking alarm; it sounds like a missile attack alarm!"

For radar early warning systems, the alarm sounds for being tracked by radar and for a missile attack are different. From the most intuitive perspective, the alarm for a missile attack is much more urgent than the alarm for being tracked; the difference is quite noticeable.

However, Xu Xian couldn't understand why there was a missile attack warning here. Was the warning system malfunctioning? How could there be a missile aimed at him from this airspace?

Just as he was wondering, Xu Xian subconsciously turned his head to look at Wang Qi's position. In just one glance, Xu Xian saw a clear trail of smoke rushing towards him!

Xu Xianli's scalp tingled. Any air force pilot would know that the smoke trail was the smoke trail of a missile!

A missile is really coming towards him!

Then, Wang Qi's roar rang out over the radio channel: "Xu Xian! Three o'clock! Missile! Missile!"
