NBA: A collection of super busts

Chapter 3 What kind of genius third-year student would want to copy the homework of a first-year stu

"Is it because of that? Isn't it because you're such a jerk with terrible grades, and you wanted to copy my homework, make me do your homework and cheat?" Ye Feng directly exposed Wade's true colors. This guy's grades were comparable to Sakuragi Hanamichi, no, even worse than Sakuragi Hanamichi.

Wade didn't play a single game in his freshman year because of poor academic performance, violating NCAA Proposition 48 (poor grades disqualify him from playing). He focused on his studies throughout his freshman year and didn't get to play until his sophomore year.

Even Sakuragi Hanamichi didn't miss a game because of his poor academic performance!

Wade made Ye Feng his roommate because he thought: This Asian guy looks really smart, he must be a top student! It will be so much easier for him to copy homework in the future.

This also exposed that Wade really is a piece of trash.

How brilliant must one's brain be to think that a junior can copy the homework of a freshman?

"I never expected that an Asian like you would almost fail the exam! Aren't you Asians all top students and homework geniuses?" Wade became assertive when this was mentioned. "And what the hell were you thinking? On your very first day of school, you actually wanted me to tutor you?"

"Put away your stereotypes and stop being prejudiced! Who says Asians have to be good at studying?" Ye Feng said angrily, "Besides, you're a junior, and you can't even understand freshman assignments, yet you're so self-righteous?"

"It's not just freshmen; do you think I, a high school freshman, could understand it?" Wade spread his hands, shamelessly.

"Do you two still want to play together? If not, I'm leaving." The black girl finally couldn't help but interject, sitting up and looking expectantly at the school's two current basketball stars.

"No, let's go! Can't you see we're going to have a duel?" Ye Feng cursed and refused the girl who wasn't his type without hesitation, displaying a clear double standard.

In particular, he didn't dare to be with Wade.

Who knows if the "STD Hero" thing started after he joined the league, or if it started in college?

"Baby, remember my number, I'll call you again tonight." Wade's attitude changed instantly. After patting the girl's butt again, he escorted the scantily clad girl out of the dormitory.

Ye Feng didn't care at all how the girl returned to her dormitory wearing hot pants and a tank top with only a leather jacket over them.

"What about your bed?" Wade then turned to look at Ye Feng, looking completely unfazed. "How about we put it on my tab? I'll pay you back double when I become a star player."

"The money you owe me will soon be more than your first year's salary in the NBA!" Ye Feng was too lazy to pay any more attention to Wade, the master of IOUs. He turned around, walked out of the room, and knocked on the door of the dormitory next to theirs.

"Hua Zi? Hua Zi?"

"What's wrong, Ye?" The door opened, and a tall man who was nearly 220 centimeters tall poked his head out. This was Edwards, the third center on the school team, who was already a fifth-year student.

A player who plays his fifth year in the NCAA and can only play as a "red shirt player" is still just a third center who can hardly get any playing time. His career prospects are self-evident.

That means there is absolutely no career prospect.

There are three reasons why such a person has been able to stay in the team and maintain a very good relationship with the main players.

1. He is very rich.

2. He is a very nice person.

3. He is a very good student.

Well, it has absolutely nothing to do with playing ball.

Who could blame them when Edwards' father owned the largest dental clinic in Milwaukee and his mother had a fairly large law firm?

He's staying on the school team purely out of interest and love; he genuinely enjoys playing basketball.

He also knew very well that this year was the last chance in his life for him to become a national champion as a player.

This is his only chance in his life.

Edwards didn't want to miss out, and he didn't want to leave any regrets in his playing career.

Therefore, this year he has been helping with homework and tutoring the players so that they can play on the court at maximum efficiency and frequency.

He single-handedly handled almost half of the school team's assignments.

After finishing his homework, he also had to tutor everyone, especially Ye Feng and Wade, who were both academically challenged, to prevent them from losing their chance to compete.

He's doing everything he can to let everyone play! He hopes to fulfill his dream.

He didn't want to become a dentist with a lot of regrets, nor did he want to study the boring law and become the successor of his mother's law firm.

Mom and Dad, I want to play basketball!

Unfortunately, the two people in front of Edwards could not understand the anguish he was feeling.

"I'll sleep in your room tonight," Ye Feng said shamelessly. "My bed is full of viruses right now; even touching it could transmit a sexually transmitted disease."

"Fuck you! You're the one with an STD!" Wade yelled. "I'm perfectly clean!"

"Nobody believes you! I could smell the virus inside just now! I'll never lie on that bed again."

"You can sleep in my bed, but you can't disturb Hua Zi's rest," Wade made a huge concession: "I still need Hua Zi's help with my homework!"

"You call that thing 'bedtime'?" Ye Feng exclaimed in surprise. "We Chinese are more used to calling it a 'virus petri dish,' it's all fucking hard!"

"You two." Edwards looked at the two bastards who were always fighting, rubbed his head, and said helplessly, "Don't bother me. I still have four assignments to do. After I finish them, I have to tutor Dina tonight. If he fails again, he won't be able to play next season."

"Also, you guys can't go too wild tonight. We have to leave for Minneapolis first thing tomorrow morning for the Round of 16 game against the University of Pittsburgh, remember? If you guys go too wild, Coach Crane will kill you!"

"Don't worry, don't worry." Ye Feng and Wade displayed perfect understanding at this moment, saying in unison, "We'll be in bed by 9 pm tonight!"

This is another reason why Edwards can stay on the team. He is practically half an assistant coach and general manager of internal affairs. Some people have even said: The Golden Eagles can do without Wade, but they definitely cannot do without Edwards.

After all, without Wade, the Golden Eagles only lost one star player, but without Edwards, the Golden Eagles would lose half of their players.

There are too many academically challenged people on this team...

"We're just in bed at nine o'clock!" After Edwards closed the door, Wade looked at Ye Feng with a wicked grin.

"But we don't go to bed at nine o'clock!" Ye Feng reached out and touched Wade's hand, then he cautiously took out a piece of paper and wiped his hand.
