Six Realms Immortal Emperor

Chapter 25 Punishing the Young Master

Although the vine was only as thick as a finger, it was sturdy and durable, easily supporting a weight of three or four hundred pounds. This man weighed at most two hundred pounds, and even with the force of Xu Jingtian's punch, he wouldn't break so easily.

The man's feet were dangling in mid-air, and his face immediately turned pale. He turned his head to look at Xu Jingtian and the other man, who were grinning and making faces at him. Needless to say, it was the two of them who had done it.

"Ah! Help!"

The man was sure to be smashed to pieces as he fell from that height of over a hundred feet. Terrified, he flailed his arms wildly and, in his desperation, managed to grab a vine.

Before the man could even feel happy, he was struck several more times on the head and stomach. His grip on the vines gave way, and he continued to fall downwards.

There happened to be a group of disciples where the man fell. They had also suffered a lot of bullying from Zhu Wanli and his gang and were full of resentment. When they saw the man alone, they rushed up and beat him without saying a word.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Before the man could even cry for help, he was repeatedly struck by the protruding cliff face, and his strong body was broken into several pieces. Blood splattered on the green vines, a horrifying sight.

The remaining men were stunned by his miserable state, and their momentum, which had been charging forward, came to a halt.

The strength displayed by Xu Jingtian and his companion should not be underestimated.

"What are you all standing there for? Kill them! Grab those two and throw them both off the cliff!" Zhu Wanli roared furiously from below.

The reason he dared to act so arrogantly was because he had the elite disciples of the Brahma Sect as his backing. Among these disciples, he was the only one with this special relationship. Therefore, his prestige was not to be challenged. Here, he was the one who bullied others, and others had no choice but to endure it.

To his surprise, Xu Jingtian and his companion not only dared to resist, but also caused him to lose one of his best men. Xu Jingtian and his companion's actions enraged him beyond measure.

Although the men were unwilling, they had no choice but to bite the bullet and surround the two men under Zhu Wanli's tyrannical coercion.

Taking advantage of their superior numbers, they quickly caught up with Xu Jingtian and his companion, but having learned from the previous incident with the man, none of them dared to get too close.

This is not land; it's suspended in mid-air, and a slight misstep could lead to a fatal fall.

Fortunately, Dongfang Sixing and Li Wanruo led the way, making the ascent very smooth.

Xu Jingtian and Gu Tianxing did not linger in the fight. They quickened their pace, climbing and destroying vines as they went, trying to create as much trouble as possible. In this way, they climbed up another several dozen feet.

As they approached the halfway point of the mountain, Dongfang Sixing and Li Wanruo, who were leading the way, gradually slowed down, seemingly exhausted.

"Why did you stop?" Xu Jingtian asked, frowning.

"Look!" Dongfang Sixing said, panting. He had been clearing the way and had climbed several hundred feet in one go, leaving him nearly exhausted.

Xu Jingtian looked up and saw a large, protruding rock blocking the path, dividing it into left and right sides. The left side of the rock appeared quite flat, with only a single vine hanging in mid-air, while the right side, though covered in vines, was extremely dangerous to climb.

"How are you? Do you still have any strength?" Xu Jingtian asked Gu Tianxing calmly.

"Sigh, if it weren't for those wolves behind me, I would have stopped to rest a long time ago," Gu Tianxing said, panting heavily, his obese body rising and falling with each breath.

"Hmph, let's see where you can hide!" Zhu Wanli and several men kept chasing closer and closer. They were exhausted from their relentless pursuit, but seeing that their path was blocked, they perked up immediately.

"What should we do?" Li Wanruo looked at Zhu Wanli who was constantly approaching from below, and was so anxious that she almost cried.

"Don't panic, Miss Wanruo. Since we're all exhausted, I think they're about to collapse as well," Xu Jingtian comforted her. "Once we climb over this big rock, we'll be safe."

"Which way to go?" Dongfang Sixing hesitated. There were risks on both sides of the rock, and he was unsure which way to go.

"Let's go to the left, I'll go first!" In this critical moment, Xu Jingtian steeled his heart and stepped forward to say.

He pulled Dongfang Sixing behind him, pushed off with his feet, and using the elasticity of the vines, leaped with all his might to the left, traversing a space of about ten feet, and reached out to grab the vines, but he was still just a hair's breadth away from grabbing them.

"Watch out!" Li Wanruo cried out.

"Moonlight Shifts Flower Shadows!" Xu Jingtian smiled slightly at her, silently reciting the Shifting Waves Illusionary Body Technique. In the instant his body fell, he exerted force again, his fingers just managing to grab the vine, narrowly escaping death.

"Impressive skills!" Gu Tianxing exclaimed. He had initially thought Xu Jingtian was just putting on a brave face, but now he realized that Xu was a true master.

"Hurry up!" Xu Jingtian darted onto the large rock, urging them on without taking a break, and pulled the remaining three up one by one.

At this moment, Zhu Wanli led several men to catch up, but they were stopped by a large stone.

"Quickly, you three go first!" Xu Jingtian said urgently.

Dongfang Sixing hurriedly pulled Li Wanruo up to climb, but Gu Tianxing couldn't bear it and turned to ask, "What about you?" He had witnessed Zhu Wanli's martial arts skills, and they were no weaker than Xu Jingtian's. With a few more helpers, Xu Jingtian was bound to suffer.

"I'll be there soon!" Xu Jingtian winked at Gu Tianxing, then pulled up the only vine on the left and hid behind a large rock.

If Zhu Wanli and the others wanted to come up, they had to go from the right side of the large rock, and those vines were right under Xu Jingtian's feet.

Gu Tianxing immediately understood. He spun around a few times and came to the right side of the large rock, looking down.

Just then, Zhu Wanli and several men rounded the large rock and saw that Gu Tianxing was alone. Overjoyed, they gave chase. The men divided their tasks clearly: each grabbed a vine and surrounded Gu Tianxing, attempting to trap him.

Just then, a vine suddenly contracted as if it had eyes, and wrapped itself around a man's neck. The man was immediately entangled by the vine, his feet dangling in the air, and he cried for help.

Before the others could recover, the vines in their hands suddenly loosened and plummeted downwards, startling them so much that they trembled and clung tightly to the vines, not daring to let go for a moment.

"Hmph, playing tricks!" Zhu Wanli watched, his anger rising. He had been chasing Xu Jingtian and his group for half a day without even catching a glimpse of them, and instead had been repeatedly mocked. He was seething with resentment, and his anger grew stronger and stronger.

"Get out of the way!" Zhu Wanli shouted, grabbed the vine and swung it forcefully. Using the rebound force, he pushed off with his feet, his body soaring into the air, passing several of his men, and shooting straight towards Gu Tianxing.

"Where do you think you're going to hide?"

Gu Tianxing ignored this, gave Zhu Wanli a mysterious smile, and said, "You've fallen for my trap!" After saying that, he threw the vine in his hand at Zhu Wanli and turned to leave.

Zhu Wanli reached out and grabbed the vine, while his other hand reached for Gu Tianxing. Just as he was about to chase after him, he suddenly felt something strange in his hand.

The vine he was holding in his palm was uprooted and he couldn't exert any force at all.

Zhu Wanli was startled. Before he could figure out what was going on, a foot suddenly stretched out in front of him. He couldn't care less about chasing Gu Tianxing anymore and hurriedly reached out to block it.

"Go down!" With a cold laugh, Xu Jingtian kicked Zhu Wanli in the abdomen with his other foot, and his body fell down the cliff like a kite with a broken string.

"Young master, be careful!" came the exclamations of several men below.

With a thud, Zhu Wanli bumped into one of the men, slowing his fall, and was then pulled back by the others.

The man fared much worse; his arm was broken, and his body tumbled several times in the air before disappearing into the clouds.

Zhu Wanli ignored it completely, lightly wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, and coldly asked, "Who is this person?"

The men behind him looked at each other and shook their heads.

"A bunch of useless trash!" Zhu Wanli stared at Xu Jingtian's retreating figure and said viciously, "You brat, you're lucky this time. You dared to oppose me, Zhu Wanli. I'll make sure you die a much worse death!"

As Zhu Wanli was speaking, he suddenly cried out and put his hand on his chest, clearly indicating that the violent impact had caused him a serious injury.

Several men were so frightened that they hurriedly helped him up. If something happened to Zhu Wanli, and those people in the Brahma Sect asked about it, it was estimated that none of them would survive.

"Walk!"

With the threat behind him eliminated, Xu Jingtian, disregarding any need for rest, hurriedly activated his Illusory Wave Movement Technique and closely pursued Gu Tianxing.

"Well done!" Gu Tianxing praised him. "I've never been one to admit defeat, but I truly admire you this time!"

Zhu Wanli and his gang were arrogant and domineering, and no one dared to provoke them, but they were humiliated and nearly lost their lives by Xu Jingtian.

The battle with Zhu Wanli and the others just now taught Gu Tianxing a vivid lesson: one must be self-reliant in order to stand on one's own feet.

Xu Jingtian endured hardship from a young age, braving wind and rain, but these experiences and suffering tempered his will and forged his mind and body. These childhood experiences instilled in him a firm belief that only by completely defeating the powerful can one stand tall and avoid being bullied.
