Lark and Finbdi were just about to celebrate when they saw Aaron, who had miraculously taken down several of Blackbeard's men in the blink of an eye.

In the blink of an eye, the situation took a sharp turn for the worse. Aaron was captured and thrown into a large pit, his fate unknown.

Yun Que cried anxiously, "Senior Aaron is in trouble! Quickly go down and help!"

Finbdi said, "The boss isn't that easy to get into trouble with. Let's check things out first! If something happens to the boss, going down there will only be pointless suicide!"

The lark was on the verge of tears: "What should we do?"

Finbdi said, "If something really happens to the boss, we can only go back to headquarters and find a chance to get revenge later."

Hibari raised his hand, wiped away his tears, and then leaned close to the scope to look at the situation in the crater.

Upon seeing Aaron stir at the bottom of the pit, Yun Que exclaimed joyfully, "Senior Aaron isn't dead!"

Then, heartbroken, she added, "But he was still injured..."

"Have you forgotten? Boss's flames can heal wounds, don't worry," Fombardy comforted him.

The black-bearded man, panting heavily, saw Aaron move at the bottom of the pit and immediately drew his pistol from his waist and fired several shots at Aaron.

"Ding ding..."

The bullets struck the armor, producing a crisp and melodious metallic clang.

Lafayette said, "Admiral, there's something strange about his armor. It's very likely the latest technology from naval scientist Vegapunk."

Blackbeard nodded: "That makes sense. The Gemma 66 family in the North Sea also has similar technology. They can control fire and lightning."

Lafayette said, "Unfortunately, the kid isn't tall enough for any of us to wear it."

Blackbeard said, "Fine, I'll go down now and take the Tremor-Tremor Fruit's power from his body."

Burgess pointed to the sky and asked, "Admiral, what about that dragon's Devil Fruit ability?"

The man with the black beard tilted his head back: "The ability to fly is a bit tricky. Let's deal with that first."

Just as Blackbeard was about to head down into the pit, he saw flames erupting from Aaron's body and immediately jumped down: "You're using fire to heal again, kid."

Blackbeard bent down and punched Aaron in the head a few more times.

Seeing that the flames had weakened a bit, the black-bearded man raised his fist and said with satisfaction, "Kid, what do you say now?"

Although Aaron's breath was weak, his mind was still clear: "Blackbeard, I will not die."

Blackbeard snorted, "I don't care if you live or die, I just want the Tremor-Tremor Fruit power!"

Aaron smiled and said, "If you have a way, then take it."

The man with the black beard raised his hand, grinned, and said, "What's about to happen is a bit brutal, so bear with it!"

A cruel smile played on the black beard's lips as he slowly inserted the four fingers of his right hand into Aaron's chest below his ribs.

Aaron could already feel the pain coming from him.

"boom!"

A pillar of fire descended from the sky, striking Blackbeard and several of his men.

"ah..."

A series of piercing screams rang out, and the men immediately rolled around on the ground, trying to extinguish the flames on their bodies.

But the ground was scorching hot, causing them to be burned a second time.

It was only after Blackbeard unleashed the black smoke from the Dark-Dark Fruit that the flames were swallowed up that the group was able to stand up with difficulty.

But he was already covered in blisters from the fire, and his face was completely disfigured.

Only the black-bearded man's face looked normal, though it was stained with some black and gray, and he still had about half of his hair left.

"Admiral," Burgess shouted, "they're coming again!"

Blackbeard looked up and saw a giant pink dragon circling rapidly in the sky, its mouth glowing like a small sun.

"Damn it!"

The black-bearded man cursed, "Lafayette, Wolf, you two hold him off!"

Upon hearing the command, Lafayette sprouted wings and took to the sky.

San Juan Wolf grew even larger, reaching a height of 250 meters including its arms. Its size far exceeded that of the 100-meter-long pink dragon.

He waved his arms, trying to grab the pink dragon in front of him, but his movements were too slow. The dragon swam in the air as nimbly as a fish in water, and he couldn't catch it at all.

Seeing that Blackbeard did not act immediately, Finbdi directly breathed hot air from his mouth at San Juan Wolf.

San Juan Wolf dodged hastily, but was still a little too slow.

If it weren't for a quick thinking moment, deactivating the power of the expansion fruit and rapidly returning to its original size, that chestnut-shaped head would probably be gone.

Lafayette flapped her wings, but to no avail.

The slashes from the cane sword struck the dragon scales, but it was like a tickle, having no effect whatsoever.

Remembering that Blackbeard's order was to "restrain" rather than kill, he began to fly in circles, trying to distract Finbdi.

Just as he was putting in his best effort, a shot rang out.

Lafayette felt a sharp pain in his left wing, lost his balance, and fell headfirst to the ground.

"Lark, well done!" said Fombardy.

Lark said, "Find a good angle, I'll shoot Blackbeard."

With a "whoosh," a bullet grazed past Lark's ear, leaving a bloody mark on his earlobe.

Lark squinted and saw Van Augur standing on a large rock, aiming his gun at him.

A glint of fire flashed in Hibari's eyes: "Fimbidi, keep an eye on Senior Aaron!"

Lark swiftly pulled back the bolt, raised his gun, aimed at Van Augur, and fired without hesitation.

"Bang!"

Van Augur sneered when he saw Lark fire hastily: "So eager?"

This position has been exposed, and Van Ace is preparing to change positions immediately.

But the next moment, he stopped abruptly, breaking out in a cold sweat.

"This little girl wasn't aiming at where I am now, but where I'll be in the next moment! That was close!"

Van Augur looked at the blonde girl on the dragon's head again, having abandoned his contempt and now regarding her as an equal opponent.

Lark, however, was somewhat dejected: "He saw right through me!"

Finbdi grunted, his two lantern-like eyes fixed on the bottom of the pit, and seeing that Aaron's body was still burning with flames, he was a little scared.

"Oh no, isn't the boss supposed to be immune to fire? How did he get on fire?"

"Huh?" Hibari's eyes widened, and tears welled up in her eyes.

"The boss is still moving! Wait, the flames have changed; they've become his own flames!"

The lark rubbed its eyes and looked down.

Although Aaron was moving, it wasn't a painful writhing, but rather like someone who had just woken up and was stretching.

Blackbeard looked at the fire on Aaron's body and found it strange.

Just then, a burst of artillery fire rang out.

The pirate ships on the sea began to move, and shouts echoed ashore: "Run! Garp is here!"

The pirates on the island surged towards the shore like a tide and boarded the ship one after another.

Lafayette asked, "Admiral, what's the situation? Are we going to start a war with Garp?"

Blackbeard gritted his teeth and looked out at the sea. A warship was rapidly approaching, and a figure stood at the bow. He could vaguely recognize it as the naval hero Garp.

Blackbeard snorted, "Let's retreat! Now is not the time to fight Garp!"

The man with the black beard spat again into the pit: "Pah, kid, you're lucky!"

"Let's go!"
