One Piece: Starting from Awakening the Cosmo at Marineford

Chapter 145 Impel Down: I Need to Take One Prisoner

After finishing one bottle of wine, Aaron took two more from the wine cabinet before leaving with Lark.

The nights in the Sabaody Archipelago originally belonged to pirates.

That night was the same, except they were all frantically fleeing.

Not much news spread about the massacre that took place during the day, and the pirates staying on the island were not particularly afraid.

When the newly grown marine cubs appeared in groups of ten, the pirates had no idea what was happening.

The island's civilians, used to seeing pirates fight each other, were still frightened by the actions of these marines.

Are these people marines? How can they be more terrifying than demons?

Fortunately, they were dealing with pirates.

Some older civilians saw it more clearly: "The more valiant the marines are, the more secure the civilians will be."

At midnight, Finbuddy used a Den Den Mushi to report the situation.

"Boss, those newbies are absolutely insane. In just half a day, they've already swept through more than ten GRs. Those pirates can't even put up an effective resistance."

Their bullets were long gone, and their knives were dulled and chipped from killing so many pirates. Now, they were using their fists. Some even had bones showing in their hands.

Aaron said calmly, "They were trained by me personally; it's just basic operation."

"I told them to rest, but they wouldn't," said Finbdi. "They only had time to eat dinner before going back to looking for pirates."

Aaron said, "You'll have to work hard, keep following along."

"Yes, boss!" said Finbdi.

The following evening, Aaron and Lark stood at the bow of the warship, waiting for their men to return.

At 5:50, dozens of figures came into view.

At 6 o'clock sharp, everyone arrived and lined up on the deck of the warship.

Although their faces were tired, their eyes shone brightly. Their bodies were covered in blood and mud, yet they looked very imposing.

Finbuddy saluted: "Report! After 30 hours of clearing operations, a total of 22 pirate crews have been wiped out, and approximately 1800 pirates have been eliminated! Our side deployed a total of 65 personnel, with 10 lightly wounded, 0 seriously wounded, and 0 dead."

Aaron nodded: "Very good."

A female marine asked, "Instructor, are we getting any rewards for this battle?"

Aaron said sternly, "Catching pirates is our duty as marines. How dare you try to take credit from me?"

The female marine gave an awkward smile and shrank back, saying, "I'm sorry, instructor, I was wrong."

Aaron said, "It's dinner time now. After you finish eating, hurry up and wash up and go to bed early. There will be a reward tomorrow."

The marines cheered; although they didn't know what the reward would be, it was enough to excite them.

"Disband!"

Even as the marines chatted and laughed loudly, they crowded towards the ship's restaurant.

Aaron watched their retreating figures before finally letting out a sigh of relief.

"Thankfully, they all came back intact."

Yun Que said, "Senior Aaron, they are all soldiers you trained, they must all be very outstanding."

Aaron said, "Hopefully, after these two days of fighting, they will understand the cruelty of fighting pirates."

The next morning, Aaron did not say goodbye to Qatar Kongbo and left the port on his own.

The warship's destination is Impel Down, the underwater prison in Impel Down.

Aaron stood before the lined-up marines and shouted, "After the battles of the past two days, I believe you have all grown. However, the pirates of Sabaody Archipelago are just small fry. Taking them down is nothing to be proud of. Understand?"

"clear!"

"In a few days, I will take you to a new world to broaden your horizons. This is the reward I was talking about."

"what?"

The marines were disappointed: "What kind of reward is this..."

Aaron swept his gaze coldly across the area, and the marines immediately fell silent.

"These next few days, you'll continue training, doubling the intensity. This is also a reward!"

"Yes, sir! Thank you, instructor!"

Aaron said, "Let's begin."

The 40 recruits were immediately dismissed and began training on the deck.

In the afternoon, the warships passed through the Gates of Justice and approached Impel Down prison.

The recruits' training had come to an end, and they were resting on the deck, some sitting and some lying down.

As soon as the buildings of Impel Down came into view, the recruits immediately sprang to their feet, straightened their uniforms, and then lined up in a ramrod-straight posture.

After Finbdi made the announcement, two warships in front of the gates of Impel Down flew flags to indicate that they could dock, and the middle gate was opened immediately.

Aaron said, "Lark, Fombard, you wait here for me. The four of you, take the prisoner and come with me."

A blonde beauty in a uniform, hat, and sunglasses said

"Major General Aaron, I am Domino, the deputy warden of Impel Prison. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Aaron nodded: "Nice to meet you."

Four new marines, escorting prisoners Carib, Krib, Lipdoti, and Alberto, followed Aaron and, guided by Domino, through a dark corridor into Impel Down.

Domino said, "Major General Aaron, hand these four prisoners over to the jailers. They need to be disinfected, quarantined, and go through some necessary interrogation procedures before their entry into prison can be verified."

Aaron waved his hand, and the four marines handed the four prisoners over to the dozen or so jailers.

Domino then said, "Major General Aaron, Commissioner Hannibal and Deputy Commissioner Magellan are waiting for you in their offices on the fourth floor."

"Please lead the way."

After a while, the group finally arrived at the private elevator.

Domino pressed the elevator button and led Aaron and four marines inside.

I don't know how much time passed or how far the elevator descended, but the doors finally opened.

The moment the elevator doors opened, a wave of heat hit us.

Domino explained, "This is a scorching hell, the temperature is quite high, please bear with it for a while."

"It's okay."

The chief's office was near the elevator, and Domino took out a Den Den Mushi to make the call. Hannibal and Magellan quickly came into view.

Hannibal was all smiles, looking very pleased with himself.

Magellan's face was gloomy and expressionless.

"Major General Aaron, I've heard of you before! It's a pleasure to meet you!"

Aaron shook hands with Hannibal: "I've also heard about Commissioner Hannibal's heroic actions two years ago, and I've been wanting to meet you for a long time."

"And Deputy Director Magellan, thank you for your contributions to the peace of this sea."

"Hmm." Magellan simply nodded.

Hannibal said, "Major General Aaron, you don't actually need to make a special trip to escort the prisoners. You can just leave it to your subordinates."

Aaron said, "I came here specifically for another matter. I would like to ask Commissioner Hannibal for your assistance."

Hannibal laughed, "No problem, no problem. I'm the warden here, I'm in charge. If you need any help, just say so."

Aaron laughed and said, "Are you sure you can make that decision?"

Hannibal patted his chest: "Of course! I'm the boss here!"

Aaron said, "I need to take a prisoner away."

Hannibal said, "Easy, just a prisoner. Tell me, who is he?"

"Caesar Courland".

Hannibal's eyes widened immediately: "Who?!"
