One Piece: Starting from Awakening the Cosmo at Marineford

Chapter 31: Leave them 3 days to deliver a message.

"Storm Kick!"

Aaron lifted his right foot, and his lower leg and foot sprang up instantly, cutting through the air and leaving a trail of afterimages.

A vacuum slash slammed into the pirates.

The dull thud of a sharp weapon tearing flesh rang out, and several pirates coughed up blood as they fell backward.

Aaron, without putting his foot down, beckoned to the remaining dozens of pirates in the bar with his index finger: "What are you waiting for? Let's go!"

The dozens of pirates swallowed hard, but none of them stepped forward.

"If you don't come over, I'm going to go over there."

"Damn! That's outrageous!"

"Let's attack together and take him down!"

Two elegantly dressed pirates, each wearing a different style of top hat with a chicken feather stuck in it, were aiming their pistols at Aaron. Each of them was surrounded by thirty or forty pirates.

Aaron said, "You two seem to have been imprisoned in Impel Down a few years ago, right?"

"So what if it is? I'd rather die than go back to a place like that!"

"That's perfect, then you shouldn't waste rice!"

The two pirates, their faces contorted in rage, pulled the triggers: "Die!"

After a burst of gunfire, the smoke cleared, but Aaron was nowhere to be seen.

The two captains looked at the floor in front of them but did not see the corpse they were looking for.

"It must have hit the target, right?"

"They escaped?"

Suddenly, two arms were placed on their shoulders, one on the left and one on the right.

The two turned around and saw a carefree, smiling face in the middle.

"Are you looking for me?"

"Gulp!"

The two swallowed hard, wondering when Aaron had gotten behind them.

At that moment, silence fell behind them, leaving only the sound of breathing and intermittent yet connected groans.

Both of them were drenched in cold sweat, and their backs felt weak.

Aaron raised his arms, pressing down on the heads of the two pirate captains, one on each side, and slammed them together.

"Thump!" The two heads collided, making a dull sound.

The two felt a sharp pain in their heads and tried to struggle, but an extremely strong vibration had already spread throughout their skulls and then along their spines to their entire skeleton.

"Shake...shake..."

"Impossible...I have to vote..."

They were filled with extreme fear and wanted to beg for mercy.

With a "crack," it sounded like a jar shattering on the ground.

The two pirates' intermittent voices abruptly stopped, and traces of blood flowed from their eyes, noses, ears, and mouths.

Aaron released his grip, and the two pirate captains collapsed to the ground like two tattered sacks.

Aaron clapped his hands: "Waiter!"

The waiter who had served the food earlier stood up from behind the bar, trembling, head down, neck hunched, and looked up at Aaron.

When the fight first started, he didn't intend to run away.

In the illegal territory of the Sabaody Archipelago, how often do you see pirates fighting and killing each other? Small skirmishes can break out at any time.

If people run away at the sight of a fight, this shop might as well not stay open.

But when he saw Aaron make a move, he killed people, killing hundreds of pirates in just a few minutes.

He dared not look directly at them, but out of the corner of his eye he still caught glimpses of the corpses lying haphazardly on the ground.

Broken arms and legs are minor incidents; most pirates have bloody holes in their foreheads, temples, necks, or chests, and the blood in these holes seems to have dried up and become thick and congealed.

He was ruthless and killed without blinking an eye, but what's more, he smiled at himself after killing people.

Is this even a Marine? He's way more terrifying than those pirates...

The waiter, trembling, shuffled towards Aaron, saying, "Sir..."

Aaron chuckled, "There's something I need your help with. Notify the navy on the island and have them clean up this mess. Oh, and could you help me get the money off these pirates?"

The waiter nodded repeatedly like a chicken pecking at rice, his knees buckled, and he knelt on the ground, beginning to search the pirates' pockets.

Aaron glanced around and saw a pirate flip over. He walked over and picked him up.

This pirate was the drunkard who had been lying on the table earlier. He didn't wake up even with all this noise, and when he fell to the ground, he just continued to sleep in the pool of blood.

Aaron lifted him up with one hand and punched him in the stomach with the other.

"Wow..."

The pirate stretched his neck forward, opened his mouth wide, and vomited out the contents of his stomach like a fountain.

A strong, sour stench filled the air. Aaron frowned in disgust and slapped the pirate across the face a dozen times.

The drunkard opened his eyes groggily, glanced at Aaron before looking away, then stared wide-eyed like a copper bell.

"Dead people...so many dead people..."

"Slap!" Aaron slapped him across the face again, coldly saying, "Awake now?"

"Who are you?"

The pirate tried to struggle, but a sharp pain immediately shot through his shoulder.

"Are you awake?"

"I'm awake... I'm awake..."

Aaron said, "I killed all these people. Do you know why I spared you?"

"Heh...you're so magnanimous, you don't want to bother with a useless drunkard like me..."

"You're half right."

"Sir, do you have something to tell me to do?"

"Pass on a message for me."

"My lord, please speak!"

"I hate seeing pirates living a life of debauchery. Go and inform the pirates on the island to leave Sabaody Archipelago within three days. If they don't leave, I'll kill them one by one until they're all wiped out."

"what?"

The drunken pirate paused, swallowed hard, and said, "But, sir, there are quite a few great pirates on the island with bounties exceeding 50 million, and even one with a bounty of over 100 million. My death is insignificant; they'll probably come looking for you instead..."

Aaron chuckled softly. "That's even better. Tell them that if they refuse to leave, I'll be waiting for them at the Human Auction House in GR 1 at noon three days from now. By the way, I'm a lieutenant commander from the Navy Headquarters."

"Ah? Major? Yes..."

Aaron said, "If you're still alive in three days, go over there too. I'll give you some money so you can go back to your hometown and retire."

"Thank you, sir..."

"Alright, let's go."

The drunken pirate scrambled out of the bar like a rabbit and ran away as fast as he could.

Aaron knew that these pirates wouldn't take his words to heart, and might even mock him.

These pirates are used to being lawless.

If the three admirals or Garp came to the island, they would probably run away as fast as they could.

For a mere major from headquarters to say such a thing would only make them laugh their heads off.

Aaron's original plan was not to actually let these pirates escape, but to provoke the pirates on the island in this way, and then reveal the time and place to lure them to gather in one place.

How dare a major from headquarters utter such arrogant words and wait for all the pirates on the island to come and challenge him to a duel? What kind of audacity (arrogance) is this?

There are at least eight thousand, if not ten thousand, pirates on the island.

If they really escape, it will be a laughing stock among their peers. How will they ever be able to survive in the New World again?
