One Piece: Starting from Awakening the Cosmo at Marineford

Chapter 48 Bucky the Clown Who Snaps His Finger

Aaron and his two companions returned to the warship, and 10 minutes later, all 20 crew members were present.

A group of marines were jogging towards the dock from a distance on the shore.

"set sail!"

The crew immediately took their positions, and the warship quickly began to move.

Aaron stood at the bow of the ship, with Lark and Finbuddy on his left and right respectively.

Aaron was so excited about the upcoming fight with Bondi Wald that his blood was pumping.

"Brubru..."

Aaron took out a Den Den Mushi, and after connecting, the Den Den Mushi transformed into Akainu's face, looking very serious.

"Aaron, I heard you're going to see Bondi Wilder?"

"That flying squirrel, he betrayed me the moment he turned his back..."

Aaron cursed under his breath, but forced a smile: "Marshal Sakazuki, I'm just going to check on things. Don't worry, nothing will happen."

Akainu said coldly, "You're not allowed to go! You don't know how powerful Bundy Wilder is. What if..."

"Feed? Feed? Marshal Sakazuki, the Den Den Mushi signal isn't very good. Don't worry, I'm not going. I'll hang up now!"

Aaron put away the Den Den Mushi and looked at the happy-looking Finbdi.

"Boss, are you really not going?"

"Of course I'll go." Aaron glanced at Lark and quickly made his decision.

"Then you two stay on the warship, and I'll go find that Bondi Wald alone."

Finbdi's initial tension eased somewhat, but he still feigned concern: "This...isn't this a bad idea?"

Hibari said firmly, "Senior Aaron, I'll cover you!"

Aaron raised his hand and patted Lark's head: "Be good. This Bondi Wald is really too amazing. You'll stay on the warship, okay?"

This was the first time Lark had heard Aaron speak to her so gently, and she vaguely agreed, "Okay."

The warship sailed westward and soon arrived at the World Government's exclusive ocean current.

The two-hundred-meter-high Gate of Justice was tightly shut, blocking the way forward.

Finbdy had already taken out his Den Den Mushi and dialed the Justice Gate monitoring room.

"Hello, Lieutenant Colonel Nell Aaron, Major Finbdi, and Lieutenant Lark, requesting permission to use the ocean currents through the Gate of Justice. Please respond upon receipt."

"I'm sorry. We just received a notification from Naval Headquarters that your warships cannot pass."

"What?"

Just as Finnbudy was about to question them, the other side had already been killed.

"Boss, look!"

Aaron immediately understood that Akainu had given the order.

If we can't use the World Government's exclusive ocean currents, the journey to our destination will be delayed by one or two hours.

An hour or two is enough to end a battle.

Aaron thought for a moment, then jumped onto the mainmast and looked eastward, where he could already vaguely see the silhouettes of several warships.

Aaron took out a Den Den Mushi and dialed Vice Admiral Momonga's number.

The flying squirrel answered quickly: "Aaron, what's wrong?"

"Vice Admiral Momonga, why don't you let my warship blend in with your fleet and come along?"

The flying squirrel chuckled: "Sorry, Aaron, Marshal Sakazuki has already spoken to me. I don't want to face his wrath and get a good scolding from him."

Aaron wanted to try to persuade him again, but the cunning old flying squirrel was already dead.

When I called again, he simply didn't answer.

"That bastard, he wouldn't even help with something this small!"

Aaron was speechless and jumped back onto the deck.

Hibari asked cautiously, "Senior Aaron, what should we do?"

"Yeah, boss. If we can't use the exclusive ocean current, Vice Admiral Flying Squirrel and his crew will be at least an hour ahead of us. By the time we arrive, we won't even have leftovers."

Aaron sighed and shouted, "Everyone, stand firm and hold on tight! The warship is about to accelerate!"

The dozen or so marines on deck were stunned. "Accelerate? How do we accelerate?"

Finnbudy shouted, "Helmsman, keep the course! Fill the sails! Hold on tight!"

Aaron jumped to the stern, flicked his index finger lightly at the sail, and activated the Tremor-Tremor Fruit's power.

With a soft sound, the air in front of them vibrated.

A sudden gust of wind appeared, and with a "whoosh," it filled all the sails.

The warship suddenly accelerated, and more than a dozen marines lost their footing, swaying backward a few steps. They quickly grabbed the nearest rope or assumed a horse stance to barely keep their balance.

The warships parted the seawater and sped forward.

"Boss! That's fast enough! It's even faster than the exclusive current!" Fombardy shouted from the bow.

Aaron said, "That's good. Everyone, hold on tight! Don't fall into the sea! Keep accelerating!"

Every now and then, Aaron would snap his fingers, vibrating the air to create a strong wind that propelled the warship at an extremely high speed.

It took the warship more than an hour to pass the location of Enies Lobby.

Aaron recalled the flying squirrel's words about "a 3-hour flight west of Enies Lobby" and worried that if they were going too fast, the flight distance calculation would be inaccurate.

So he summoned the ship's navigator: "Can you roughly estimate the distance traveled based on the ship's speed?"

"Can!"

Aaron nodded: "Alright. The location we need to reach is about a 3-hour flight west of Enies Lobby."

The navigator took out a map, gestured with his finger, and quickly pointed to a location: "Lieutenant Colonel Aaron, this must be the location you're referring to. However, there are no islands or reefs here."

Aaron said, "Let's stop here. I'll continue to accelerate the warship; you estimate the distance."

"yes!"

The warship resumed its previous speed and continued sailing.

Two hours later, the naval officer said, "Lieutenant Colonel Aaron, it's not far ahead."

Aaron stood at the bow of the ship, looking ahead and to both sides through binoculars.

There were no ships in sight.

"Lieutenant Colonel Aaron, a pirate ship is approaching on our right!"

"A pirate ship?"

Aaron turned around and looked through the binoculars; it was indeed a pirate ship.

The pirate flag features a clown with an exaggerated smile, wearing a hat and a comical costume.

"It's Bucky the Clown."

Hibari breathed a sigh of relief: "Bugsy the Clown is one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, so he must have been summoned. It seems we didn't come to the wrong place."

The naval officer breathed a sigh of relief: "Fortunately, we didn't disappoint Lieutenant Colonel Aaron."

Buggy's pirate ship drew closer, its bow beginning to shift, as if trying to go around him.

Aaron said, "I'll go and meet him. Lark, Finbdi, you two stay on the warship and follow Bucky the Clown's ship later."

"Senior Aaron, be careful!"

"Boss, watch out!"

Aaron nodded, then leaped into the air and used Moonwalk to rapidly approach the pirate ship from mid-air.

A distance of just over a thousand meters won't take long.

Soon, Aaron landed on the bow of the ship.

"I am Buggy the Clown, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Marine Corps?" Bucky seemed incredulous, glancing again at the warship more than a thousand meters away.

"How did you get here?"

Aaron ignored him and greeted the pirates with menacing smiles.

"Damn pirates, nice to meet you!"
