Lin Luo shut down the chaotic comments on the StarNet and directly connected with Director Ryan's communication.

"Director Lane, is post-production complete for the movie based on Elland?"

Director Ryan on the other side of the screen immediately responded respectfully:

"Lord Lin Luo, the video has been fully produced. However, considering that you have just returned from a dangerous situation, we originally intended to wait until you were settled before..."

"No need for that, just send it to me now," Lin Luo interrupted.

"Yes, Your Excellency." The encrypted high-definition video file was quickly transmitted.

Lin Luo took the quantum computer back to Ailand's bedside and felt the invisible little ball fall lightly into his palm.

He coughed lightly, his tone a little unnatural:

"Hmm... let's take a look together. I asked Director Ryan to... add some artistic embellishments to the script."

The film opens with grand war scenes and Elland's achievements faithfully presented.

But when time intersects in the film, male insects modeled after "himself" begin to appear, offering comfort and strength during countless moments of agony for Aland.

Lin Luo's cheeks flushed slightly. He was a little afraid to look at the "small ball" in his palm, and forced himself to remain calm as he commented:

"This... artistic treatment is to make the story more heartwarming, please... don't mind it."

At first, Eland was immersed in the solemnity of the past, but when he saw "himself" in the movie receiving such gentle companionship and support in the illusion, a complex and indescribable emotion spread through him.

He felt touched and warmed, but then, a subtle, almost absurd, sense of jealousy arose within him.

He was jealous of the illusory projection in the movie, who was so gently accompanied and saved by "Your Excellency," even though that projection was himself.

But he wouldn't let Lord Lin Luo know about these feelings.

Whether in the movie or in real life, the only person by his side who pulled him out of the mud was Lord Lin Luo.

Aland etched deeply and quietly into the lines of his palm, as if he had found his final resting place.

The headquarters of the Xiongbao Association, Glenn's office.

The worker, who had previously been turned away by Lin Luo, was now reporting nervously.

He presented President Glenn with Lin Luo's firm rejection and the subsequent "heartfelt confession" he posted on StarNet.

President Glenn leaned back in his wide chair, his fingertips tapping absently on the smooth tabletop. His face was expressionless, but the gloom in his eyes grew heavier.

"...President, that's the situation. Lord Lin Luo's attitude...is very firm."

The working insect's voice grew softer and softer, barely daring to breathe.

"Resolutely?" President Glenn finally spoke, his voice carrying a chilling undertone.

"I knew all along that he wouldn't easily accept our 'good intentions'."

He slowly sat up straight, his gaze sweeping over Lin Luo's declaration on the screen, "Since I have made my choice, I will not betray it," and a cold smile appeared on his lips.

"What a profound affection, what unwavering loyalty!" he said sarcastically.

"He's determined to stick with that half-dead Elland and go against our Xiongbao Association."

The workaholic kept his head down, not daring to respond.

President Glenn remained silent for a moment, his eyes flickering, clearly weighing his options rapidly.

A direct confrontation has proven ineffective; Lin Luo's prestige and unexpected toughness mean they can no longer resort to simple and crude pressure.

"He thinks this will protect Elland?"

President Glenn suddenly smiled sinisterly, "Public opinion is a knife; it can be used to show loyalty, and we... can naturally use it to change direction as well."

He looked up at his subordinates, his tone regaining its usual superior calm, yet revealing an undeniable ruthlessness:

"Since Lord Lin Luo so 'respects' the laws of the Empire, then we'll accompany him and have a proper talk about the 'laws'."

"Go and carefully 'study' whether Major General Ailand's current physical condition still meets the strict requirements of Imperial law regarding the capacity and duties of 'guardian insects'."

"In particular, given his clear inability to fulfill his core obligation to protect the safety of the dominant ruler, does the law... still support his continued occupation of this position?"

He paused, then focused his fingertip heavily on Lin Luo's name on the screen.

"We must make it clear to all the insects that it is not that our Xiongbao Society is unreasonable, but that this Lord Lin Luo is being blinded by untimely 'sympathy,' and may even be... actively putting himself in danger."

"Is the choice of a male insect that cannot even guarantee its own safety truly worthy of praise?"

The workaholic immediately understood and bowed, "Yes, Chairman! We'll get on it right away!"

President Glenn waved him away and sat alone in his office, looking at the comments on the StarNet cheering for Lin Luo and envying Ailand with a sinister gaze.

The more affectionate and determined Lin Luo appeared, the more it made their previous actions seem like a joke.

He remembered this "humiliation." If open methods didn't work for the time being, he would resort to covert ones.

There are plenty of ways to exploit legal loopholes and manipulate public opinion to gradually make this arrogant young male insect realize the "weight" of reality.

------

Inside the military command center, Field Marshal Arnold listened intently to his subordinates' reports on the front-line situation, his stern profile sculpted in the starlight.

Occasionally, snippets of words about "StarNet," "Lord Lin Luo," and "Statement" drifted over from the officers who were whispering in the corner, interrupting his momentary concentration.

He didn't pay attention until, during a break in the reporting session, his adjutant placed a prepared Xingwang public opinion briefing next to him.

As my gaze swept across the page, Lin Luo's declaration came into clear view.

Arnold paused slightly as he flipped through the briefing.

Such open, unwavering, and even youthful-hearted defense is indeed rare in Zerg society, especially coming from a high-ranking male.

He could almost imagine the turbulent waves these words would stir in the hearts of female insects yearning for the attention of males.

This unreserved conviction, like a pebble accidentally thrown into a deep pool, created a barely perceptible ripple in the long-dormant lake of his heart.

In a daze, he seemed to be pulled back to many years ago.

Back then, the Insect King, who had not yet ascended the throne, also gazed at him with such fervent and focused eyes, and uttered many vows that were more beautiful and sweeter than these.

Those words, like warm sunshine, pierced through his hardened shell as a female soldier, making him believe for a time that they could have a bright future together.

But what happened next?

Arnold's fingertips tapped lightly on the cold tabletop unconsciously, and the faint ripple in his eyes quickly vanished.

Expectations gradually faded, enthusiasm slowly cooled, and vows were eroded and peeled away by power and time, leaving only the insurmountable, cold distance between the throne and the position of subject.

He snapped out of his brief daze, his gaze returning to the star map and Lin Luo's statement, his eyes regaining their usual calm and sharpness.

Young male insects are passionate and brave, daring to fight against injustice and sticking to their choices.

This kind of mentality is rare, but also dangerous.

He admired that courage, but he was also well aware that in the face of the empire’s deeply entrenched rules and the power struggles among various factions, enthusiasm alone was far from enough.

Mr. Lin Luo, how long can your "conviction" last through these storms?

And how will the massive machine of the empire "respond" to your unconventional persistence?

Arnold withdrew his gaze and calmly addressed his waiting subordinates: "Continue the report."

It was as if that moment of distraction and emotional turmoil had never happened.
