Upon hearing this, Venerable Ananda and Venerable Kasyapa hastily departed.

Before long, Guanyin and Manjushri entered the Great Thunder Temple under the guidance of the two venerable ones.

"World Honored One!"

The two neglected bodhisattvas had a lot to say, and when they suddenly saw the World-Honored One, they immediately started talking to each other, wishing they could pour out all the words in their hearts.

"That's enough!"

"What kind of decorum is this, behaving so noisily in a sacred Buddhist site?"

The Buddha coldly retorted, "This humble monk did not summon you here to hear you shirk responsibility!"

"It's to get you to cooperate with Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to find the real culprit behind it all!"

"yes!"

Guanyin and Manjushri dared not say more upon hearing this, and both put their hands together in prayer and nodded repeatedly.

Upon seeing the two, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva showed no politeness, striding up to Guanyin and questioning her: "This humble monk asks you, did you properly investigate the first collapse of Five Finger Mountain?"

Guanyin explained, "This humble monk was in the midst of reconciling accounts with the Heavenly Court at the time and did not arrive immediately! Therefore, I was punished by the World-Honored One!"

"However, on my way back to the South Sea, I went to investigate and discovered the aura of a Quasi-Saint level Giant Spirit Lord!"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva felt relieved upon hearing this.

He always said that!

How could he be the only one who sensed the aura of the Giant Spirit Lord?

So Guanyin sensed it too!

His face turned cold: "If that's the case, why don't you report it?"

"This humble monk is innocent!"

Guanyin clasped her hands together and said, "The Jade Emperor's appearance was truly too suspicious, to the point that it deceived the World Honored One!"

"Even if I wanted to, I couldn't explain it!"

"However, this humble monk still asks my junior brother Manjushri to help convey this message to the World-Honored One!"

"May the Bodhisattva see this clearly!"

Upon hearing this, Manjushri broke out in a cold sweat and instinctively looked up, only to be met with the Buddha's furious gaze.

"How come this humble monk knew of such a thing?" Buddha asked through gritted teeth.

"World Honored One, please calm your anger!" Manjushri immediately knelt down. "This humble monk believed that the World Honored One had already confirmed that the mastermind was the Great Celestial Venerable, and that my senior sister was merely making excuses, therefore I did not report it!"

"You..." Guanyin was instantly enraged upon hearing this, glaring at Manjushri and pointing her finger at his nose, ready to start cursing.

Fortunately, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva intervened in time.

"That's enough!"

"Manjushri, this humble monk asks you, since you appeared before the Jade Emperor on behalf of Guanyin, did you hear the Jade Emperor personally admit to pushing down the Five Finger Mountain?"

After a brief recollection, Manjushri said, "The Jade Emperor did not personally admit to this, but he quoted a price eighteen times the budget... That's why I thought the Jade Emperor was demanding compensation from Buddhism because of my senior sister's offense... That's why I tacitly admitted that the Jade Emperor was the mastermind!"

Upon hearing this, everyone present was stunned!

So they didn't do a proper investigation at all, huh?

It was all a misunderstanding!

They even sent the Jade Emperor eighteen times the budget!

The Buddha's face instantly turned green, and he pointed at Manjushri and Avalokiteshvara, angrily shouting, "Get down!"

"All of you, get out of here and reflect on your actions!"

Manjushri and Avalokiteshvara looked up at the same time, wanting to say, "They are also doing this for Buddhism," but when they saw the Buddha's murderous gaze, they lowered their heads and hurriedly left the Great Thunder Temple!

Before long, only Buddha and Ksitigarbha remained in the room.

"Venerable One, now that the truth has come to light!"

"Should we then join forces with the Heavenly Court to slay the Giant Spirit God?"

A hint of murderous intent flashed in Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's eyes as he took the initiative to make the suggestion.

The Buddha's expression suddenly returned to normal, and he replied calmly, "This matter is not urgent; it requires further consideration!"

And the giant spirit god whose cultivation level was constantly advancing by leaps and bounds was naturally his junior brother!

If he were to personally kill his junior brother, how could he possibly survive?

You should know that his master has the most fiery temper among all the saints!

During the Great Tribulation of the Investiture of the Gods, they were capable of even shattering the primordial continent, so why would they care about his life?

Besides, he's just adding some trouble to the journey to the West; he's not really trying to compete for the Buddhist fortune!

Let him vent his anger!

"However, if Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is in a hurry, he can personally go to the Heavenly Court to seek cooperation from His Majesty the Jade Emperor!"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva snorted coldly.

What a spineless coward!

Those two masters are really something!

Why should the rightful seat of the Buddha be given to an outsider?

If you shrink back at the first sign of trouble, where is the dignity of the Buddha?

"Since the World Honored One is willing to support me, then this humble monk would like to request a decree to mobilize all the Buddhas of the Western Paradise!"

When did this humble monk say he was willing to support it?

As expected of the authentic Buddhist sect!

This shameless spirit is exactly the same as that of two Western saints!

However... since you're so eager to die, this humble monk won't stop you.

"The Bodhisattva's righteous cause is something this humble monk is naturally willing to support!"

As he spoke, he took out a decree and handed it to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

The message is simple: seeing this decree is like seeing the deity himself!

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva investigated briefly and found that there was no problem with the decree, and was overjoyed!

"Amitabha!"

"Thank you for your support, World Honored One!"

"This humble monk will depart now!"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva led the Taoist Ran Deng to the Jade Emperor.

"Your Majesty, this matter concerns the flourishing of Buddhism; we hope Your Majesty will cooperate!"

The Jade Emperor stared at the two men with a livid expression.

That giant spirit god was a high-ranking official of the Heavenly Court!

You two can't even produce a single piece of evidence before you try to capture my beloved general!

Do they still respect me, the ruler of the Three Realms?

"Senior Brother Ran Deng, isn't this against the rules?"

"If Senior Brother only has doubts, then I can certainly have the Giant Spirit Lord come and cooperate!"

"But if my senior brother intends to unjustly kill a high-ranking official of the Heavenly Court, then I will absolutely not compromise!"

The Taoist Ran Deng laughed heartily and then took out the Sea-Stabilizing Pearl.

"We hope Your Majesty can be lenient!"

After all, no one wants to face the wrath of a saint!
