I desperately want to win on the peninsula

On July 8th, all members of MONSTAX participated in the "Music Battle" hosted by NetEase Cloud Music.

The event will likely be divided into two teams, red and white, performing, similar to the Japanese red and white song festival.

The entire competition will be live-streamed on NetEase Cloud Music, with viewers voting in real-time to determine the results! Two special guest performers will be invited to sing with the contestants, and the real-time votes they receive will be awarded to one of the teams.

MONSTAX was placed in the red group, while the other two groups were UNIQ and 4MINUTE.

The Red Team mainly consists of groups active on the peninsula, while the White Team consists of artists or groups from Tokyo University. Interestingly, there is a group called SNH48.

The origin of this name is obvious; I heard it's from buying the copyright to Japan.

The members arrived relatively early, and their managers had already gone with the staff to hand over the work, so they were still in the lounge, chatting and waiting in small groups.

Sitting in the corner, Lin Qianqiao scrolled through her phone while listening to the members' conversation, nodding in agreement from time to time.

After some time, manager Lee Yong-jin knocked on the door and came in. He clapped his hands at the members who were still chatting, signaling, "Stop chatting, almost everyone's here. Let's go pay our respects."

"Yes, sir." Captain Shownu responded, and the others followed suit in unison.

The backing wasn't very large, and there were only six artists in total. Including other staff members, such as MCs and VJs, the visits were basically completed in one round.

The most troublesome issue might be language communication, but with Lin Qianqiao's help in translation, this problem was eliminated.

Then we exchanged polite greetings for a while, found a well-lit spot to take a group photo, and nothing went wrong.

Then I also saw the female members of SNH48. There were more than a dozen girls sitting in the waiting room, all wearing the same bright silver stage outfits, which were quite sparkly...

Perhaps influenced by their seniors, they all seem quite lively...

Perhaps because we're both idols, we heard that one of us speaks Chinese, and then we chatted for a while about food and interesting things at work. Although we're from the same lineage, the idol models on both sides are different, and the level of competition is also different. It was quite interesting to get to know each other.

After some conversation, I learned that their second annual idol popularity election has started this month. This is an event that determines the popularity ranking of SNH48 members through fan voting and uses this to decide the recording lineup of the election single. It is a regular annual event for the 48 Group.

Lin Qianqiao found it quite interesting while listening and would like to watch it again when she has time.

He felt that this idol named Li Yitong was very talented. She spoke fluently and logically. Lin Qianqiao would sometimes be confused by what she was saying, but she could still understand what she was saying. It was quite amazing.

I heard that her voting ranking is quite good, and she's among the top.

Then, we visited the 4Minute lounge. After knocking lightly on the door a few times, we stood at the door and waited quietly.

After a while, the door was suddenly pulled open, and a head peeked out from the crack.

"Oh my god, senior." The Monstax members greeted him as soon as the door opened.

"Anan Haseyo." Upon hearing the familiar words, Jeon Ji-yoon knew they had come to visit. She glanced at them, nodded slightly, and then opened the door to the lounge.

The group followed them in, bowing and greeting everyone they met. They were still a little reserved in front of the senior figures who had been in the industry for many years.

They were already made up, their eye makeup was as deep and captivating as ever, and their clothing choices were mostly hip-hop style, with black leather jackets and tight pants emphasizing coolness, as well as printed short-sleeved shirts paired with denim hot pants for a sexy and charming look, and all of them wearing sparkly gold necklaces around their necks.

It should continue the dark and sexy style of 4Minute's February comeback album "crazy".

Zhou Xian seems to really like and happens to be into hip-hop style, as he keeps glancing at the hot-bodied Kim HyunA sitting on the sofa.

Her long, golden hair cascaded down her shoulders, complemented by exquisite makeup. Her simple clothing style accentuated her graceful curves, and her long, fair legs, gleaming beneath her hot pants, appeared voluptuous and alluring, making her look quite seductive.

However, Kim HyunA seemed to be isolated. The other members ignored her, went about their own business, and didn't even call out to her when someone came.

She simply greeted Monstax when he came to visit, then gave him a polite smile, seemingly not caring much.

With such a large gap between their debut years and the absence of familiar faces, there wasn't much to talk about. After a polite greeting, the entire Monstax team left.

I doubt anyone will feel reluctant to part with it...

After all the Monstax members left the lounge, Jeon Ji-yoon closed the door, turned around and glanced at Kim Hyun-ah in the corner. Seeing her engrossed in scrolling through her phone without any reaction, she scoffed, rolled her eyes, and then returned to her group of friends to sit down.

This refers to Kyo, who was standing in the far corner of the line at the time.

As time passed, all the audience members had entered the venue, and the performance began with the opening remarks from the three hosts.

The red and white teams, with six groups, stood on the stage. The audience was very supportive, and many fans waved their respective support signs, so the groups on stage received a baptism of cheers first.

Lin Qianqiao saw the fan group supporting MONSTAX, which was located slightly diagonally opposite the stage, surrounded by UNIQ fans, with a few Siba support signs occasionally interspersed among them.

Compared to other groups, this number isn't large. After all, this stage is mostly filled with artists from local companies or some senior artists. MONSTAX can't compare, but it still feels pretty good to have people supporting them.

The stage design is quite interesting. When other artists perform, they don't need to go backstage; instead, they can sit in the seats below the stage and watch, with fans watching the performance from behind them.

Sharing happiness is worse than enjoying it alone; the production team seems to understand that...

So when 4minute was the first group to perform, the fans in the audience cheered enthusiastically. The artists sitting below were also quite happy, after all, being able to watch the stage up close and learn from their seniors' dance skills would surely lead to some practice afterwards.

4minute performed "What's your name?". As they stepped onto the stage, the music began, and their stage began.
