"It's just speculation, don't think about it anymore, let's go. Let nature take its course. We've finished visiting this Taoist temple, let's go back." Ao Shuang stood in front and waved to him.

"Hmm..." Wang Zhen nodded thoughtfully, and was about to follow. Suddenly, he felt a tremor under his feet. At first, he thought he was hallucinating because he was in a daze.

He didn't pay much attention at first, but after taking a few steps, he began to realize something was wrong. If it was an illusion, why were the stone pillars in the square also shaking? He hurriedly shouted to Ao Shuang.

"Brother, do you sense that something is wrong?"

Ao Shuang stood there with a grave expression, gripping the railing. Hearing Wang Zhenhuan's words, he waved to him and said, "Quick, let's go!! It might be an earth dragon turning over!!"

"What?" Wang Zhen was greatly surprised. An earth dragon turning over was a serious matter. They were currently underground, and if they encountered an earth dragon turning over, they might suffer disaster as a result.

He quickened his pace and ran with Ao Shuang towards the outside of the Taoist temple. By the time the two reached the main gate, the entire temple had already begun to shake violently with the ground.

Dust and debris from the mountain gate hall fell down with a whoosh as the hall shook. Even the stone tablet inside began to sway from side to side. The violent shaking made it almost impossible for the two of them to stand.

Let alone continuing to run outside, Ao Shuang, leaning on the pillars of the mountain gate hall to barely maintain her balance, waved to Wang Zhenhuan and said, "Don't rush. Don't rush, the earth dragon's upheaval won't last long. Let's go out after it calms down a bit."

"But what if this mountain gate collapses and buries us both inside?" Wang Zhenhuan was anxious, but the shaking was so violent that he had no good solution.

"What are you afraid of? We're not ordinary people. Don't panic!" Ao Shuang scolded as she channeled her spiritual energy to firmly grip the pillar. Although she swayed, she didn't fall.

Upon hearing this, Wang Zhenhuan calmed himself down a bit and, imitating Ao Shuang, firmly gripped the pillar. Sure enough, the swaying decreased significantly, and at least he could maintain his balance now.

He shouted loudly at Ao Shuang, "Brother, how could the earth suddenly turn upside down? You've lived here for many years, have you ever encountered anything like this before?"

Looking at the square outside, Ao Shuang replied solemnly, "No, Xiayi has not seen a landslide in nearly five hundred years. The last time a landslide occurred was at the end of the Han Dynasty."

"How could the earth suddenly turn upside down? Could it be related to what happened between us today?" Ever since entering this cave, Wang Zhenhuan's nerves have become unusually sensitive.

"I don't know either, but this sudden earthquake must have some hidden story. Now that we've obtained what we need, we shouldn't stay here any longer. We should get out of here as soon as possible." After the tremors subsided, Ao Shuang waved to Wang Huanzhen.

Wang Zhenhuan nodded, carefully controlling his spiritual energy to maintain his balance, and began to walk out of the hall. After he passed the stone tablet, he suddenly heard a teeth-grinding cracking sound behind him.

He turned around and saw a clear crack extending upwards from the base of the stone tablet. Wang Zhenhuan was greatly alarmed and turned to shout loudly at Ao Shuang.

"Brother, run!! This mountain gate is about to collapse!!!!"

Upon hearing this, Ao Shuang turned around and saw the cracking stone tablet. He gathered his strength and moved lightly to Wang Zhenhuan's side, grabbing his arm. Then he rushed out of the hall.

Wang Zhenhuan also used his inner energy to lighten his body and continuously propelled himself forward. In just a few breaths, the gate of the mountain gate hall appeared before them. Wang Zhenhuan was overjoyed and was about to go out.

A sickening cracking sound came from the roof in an instant. Terrified, before he could even react, he felt a tremendous force on his arm, throwing him away.

boom!!!----

A deafening crash! The mountain gate collapsed! A torrent of smoke and dust enveloped Wang Huanzhen. Overwhelmed with grief, he landed and turned to call out mournfully to those behind him.

"Big brother!!!!"

He was then hit by the dust and fell to the ground with a thud. Ignoring the dust in his mouth, he got up and ran towards the now-ruined mountain gate.

But just as he reached halfway there, he heard the ruins of the mountain gate hall begin to shake, as if something was about to emerge. Wang Zhen was overjoyed and shouted loudly towards the ruins.

"Brother, I'm here to save you!! Hang in there!!"

To his surprise, a deafening dragon's roar came from beneath the ruins. Then, from the crumbling walls of the mountain gate, a gigantic dragon head, at least five feet long, emerged.

Wang Zhen's mouth dropped open, so astonished he could barely speak. The dragon's head had two horns, its eyes were bloodshot like a rabbit's, and its neck resembled a snake's, covered in blue scales. It was exactly the image of a dragon he had in mind.

The azure dragon head swayed from side to side, then let out a low growl. The entire ruins of the mountain gate hall trembled. Wang Zhenhuan subconsciously raised his hand to shield himself from the flying dust.

After the smoke and dust cleared, a strange creature nearly two zhang long, with a dragon's head and a turtle's body, appeared before him. Wang Zhenhuan looked up and met its gaze, his heart filled with utter shock.

Suddenly, the dragon's head opened its massive mouth and lunged at him. Startled, he collapsed to the ground. Then, in a blinding flash of white light, the enormous dragon's head transformed into a human figure.

Ao Shuang pointed at him and laughed loudly: "Look at you, scared?"

Wang Zhenhuan's face flushed red. Without uttering a word, he stood up, turned, and walked away. Seeing that he was truly angry, Ao Shuang smiled and chased after him. She tugged at his clothes and said, "It was just a joke, don't be angry."

"Hmph! I cared about your safety, brother, but you not only didn't appreciate it, you even fooled me. I was just being presumptuous," Wang Zhenhuan snorted coldly, puffing out his cheeks in anger.

"Alas, it was my fault, I was wrong. I apologize, don't be angry. I just saw you were upset and wanted to tease you. I apologize to you," Ao Shuang said with a smile and cupped his hands in apology.

Wang Zhen wasn't really angry. Hearing this, he turned around, about to speak, when suddenly his eyes widened as he looked behind him. Seeing this, Ao Shuang smiled and gave him a nudge.

"Don't try to fool your elder brother with such petty tricks..."

Before he could finish speaking, a deafening roar came from the sky behind him! He froze, instinctively turning his head to look. He saw that the Taoist temple on the mountaintop not far away had been split in two.

From the gap flew a gigantic tiger, the size of a calf, with wings on its back and covered in spiky feathers. The loud crash just now was from it slamming into the barrier above!
