Rex's face was so dark it could drip water. He spat at the bulldozer that was writhing and screaming on the ground, and said coldly:

"Gadget, you useless piece of trash! You can't even handle a high school student! You're as weak as a woman's Puxi!"

After he finished cursing, he turned to look at Li Ang, a hint of cat-and-mouse playfulness flashing in his eyes, and said with great interest:

"Kid, your fighting footwork is pretty unorthodox. Too bad you're out of energy now, aren't you?"

Rexay fought in underground boxing for several years when he was young, and was recognized as the most capable, ruthless, and experienced leader of the Motley Park Kids.

With his sharp eyes, he could tell at a glance that Li Ang was already at his limit, barely able to stand, and it was impossible for him to use that ghostly footwork again.

Rex was ruthless and taciturn. He leaped in front of Li Ang and feinted a lightning-fast jab to draw Li Ang's attention away from blocking.

The real killer move that followed was an incredibly heavy right hook.

Li Ang twisted his body with difficulty, raising the short stick to block his ribs.

"Bang!"

The sticks and fists struck each other, producing a dull thud.

Li Ang felt a violent jolt in his arm, and the short stick almost flew out of his hand.

The force of the impact sent him staggering several steps to the right, crashing into a nearby cabinet, causing bottles and jars to rattle and clatter.

Rex was right behind him, and suddenly stepped forward, his left arm bent, his elbow like a cannonball, slamming hard into Li Ang's heart!

Li Ang was terrified and used his last bit of strength to block the attack by holding the short stick horizontally in front of his chest.

With a crisp "crack!", the not-so-thin wooden stick was actually cracked!

The immense impact of the blow traveled through the staff, and Li Ang felt as if he had been struck by a heavy hammer in the chest. He let out a muffled groan and felt a sweet taste in his throat.

Rex's eyes flashed with a fierce light.

With his right fist fully charged, and with the help of pushing off the ground from his lower back and rotating his hips, he struck Li Ang's wide-open abdomen like a cannonball!

"Ugh—Pfft!"

Li Ang's eyes bulged out instantly.

The severe blow to his stomach made him feel as if his internal organs had shifted.

He instinctively covered his abdomen with both hands, but could not stop the excruciating pain and nausea.

My vision blurred, and I almost fainted.

"Li Ang!!!"

Fiona let out a heart-wrenching scream.

She struggled to get up from the hospital bed and stumbled as she tried to pounce on him.

Rex threw Fiona aside.

He then stepped forward, and his thick, iron-like right arm suddenly gripped Li Ang's neck from behind, easily lifting him off the ground.

Li Ang struggled in vain, kicking his legs wildly in the air, his struggle growing weaker and weaker.

"Hey, you Chinese kid, you've got guts. You crippled two of my brothers."

Rex grinned maliciously, feeling the young body in his arms gradually weaken and struggle, as if admiring his prey.

"I'll take you back to camp and treat you well. There are lots of toys there, and many of my gay brothers. I'm sure they'll love a cute Chinese kid like you."

With that, he turned around and dragged Li Ang toward the door of the ward.

"No! No! Please! Let him go! Let my brother go!"

Fiona cried out and scrambled over to him again.

He reached out a trembling hand, trying to grab Lexie's trouser leg.

"I promise you! I'll do anything you want! I have money! I'll give you everything! Please don't hurt him! Please! I'll do anything you ask!!"

Her voice was completely distorted by extreme fear and heart-wrenching grief.

His face was streaked with tears and snot, he looked utterly disheveled, and his gray-blue eyes held only desperate pleas.

Rex paused slightly, turned around, and glanced down at her.

There was not a trace of pity in his eyes, only the cold-blooded pleasure of controlling the life and death of others.

"Save your tears and nonsense, you filthy bastard. Wait until I've taught him a lesson, until he crawls back on his knees like a dog, then we'll hear how you beg me. Now, shut up! Otherwise, I guarantee he'll suffer a terrible death!"

After saying that, he didn't look at Fiona again and dragged Li Ang out of the ward.

Looking at the empty hospital room door, Fiona's world completely collapsed.

Extreme pain, fear, and self-blame, like the thickest crude oil, surged in from all directions, flooding her mouth and nose, and choking her throat and heart.

Fiona felt a pang in her heart and silently collapsed onto the cold floor of the hospital room, remaining motionless.

……

Rexie dragged Li Ang out of the ward like he was pulling a bag of trash.

Li Ang's heel scraped against the floor, making a dull slurring sound.

At the end of the corridor, two uniformed hospital security guards heard the commotion and rushed over, clutching their black batons.

However, when they saw that Lexy could lift Li Ang with one hand, and that he was covered in dragon and phoenix carvings and looked fierce.

Their steps immediately faltered and stopped ten meters away.

"Hey! You! Let go of that child!"

An older security guard mustered his courage and shouted, his voice trembling slightly.

He pointed his baton at Lei Chensai, but dared not take another step closer.

"There are security cameras in the hallway! We've already called the police! They'll be here soon! You'll be arrested!"

Lexy stopped and tilted his head to look at the camera flashing a red dot in the corner of the ceiling.

He glanced again at the blustering but cowardly security guard in the distance, a disdainful smile spreading across his face.

He carried Li Ang with one hand and casually grabbed a metal-framed single chair from the side of the corridor with the other.

He merely weighed it in his hand, then hurled it at the security camera like a shot put!

"Clang—crash!"

The camera, along with part of the ceiling, shattered.

Sparks flew as the power line dangled down, and the red dot on the camera went out.

Rex sneered, bent down and picked up another chair, pretending to throw it at the two security guards.

"Fuck! Run!"

The two security guards were terrified.

Forgetting all about his duties, he turned and scrambled to escape towards the stairwell.

Soon even the sound of footsteps could no longer be heard.

"Hmph, trash."

Rex threw the chair aside and casually dusted off Li Ang.

He patted his hands clean and was about to continue dragging Li Ang away when his gaze suddenly met Li Ang's eyes.

At this moment, Li Ang's face was pale and his body was covered in wounds. He had just suffered such humiliation and blow.

But his eyes were unusually calm.

There was no fear, no pleading, not even anger, only an almost indifferent coldness.

Li Ang's gaze was fixed on Lexy.

It was as if he were examining a corpse.

That look made Rex feel inexplicably uneasy.

He tightened his grip on Li Ang's arm, bringing Li Ang's face close to his own, and questioned him fiercely:

"Hey kid, what kind of look is that? Huh? What the hell are you looking at?"

Li Ang kept his lips tightly closed and remained silent.

But the cold gaze did not waver in the slightest; instead, it made Rex feel annoyed by being slighted.

This silent resistance infuriated him more than any curses.

"Damn it, are you pretending to be mute?"

Rex's patience ran out.

He suddenly grabbed Li Ang by the neck and lifted him high into the air.

Li Ang groaned and curled up due to lack of oxygen.

Lexie grinned maliciously, ready to teach Leon a lesson.

Just then, a clear, cold, and piercing shout suddenly rang out in the corridor:

"NYPD! Let go of the boy you're holding and get down on the ground immediately! Or I'll shoot!"
