From Resident Evil to becoming a gacha god

Chapter 30: Slaughter, Hunt, and Reencounter with Saeko Busujima

The car door slowly opened, revealing a smoky interior that made it difficult to see clearly.

The next second, countless bullets rained down like a storm, weaving together into an impenetrable net of fire.

The bullets struck the interior walls of the carriage, scattering fine metal fragments and sparks with a crisp "clanging" sound that made people's eardrums ache.

The task force members gripped the triggers tightly, emptying their chambers of bullets, attempting to riddle the enemy with bullets.

Our ground comrades were wiped out too quickly. They were under a lot of pressure and didn't want to face the unknown and powerful enemy. They told me to talk to them about the firepower coverage.

As bullets ran out, finally, a special forces member picked up a rocket launcher, aimed it at the carriage, and fired. The rocket whistled into the train, the shockwave from the explosion ripped away the smoke, and the heavy carriage was torn apart by the force.

After everything settled down, the leader gave a hand signal, and four special task force members reluctantly approached the carriage with their guns at the ready, cautiously checking the interior.

There was nothing inside except for bullets scattered all over the ground and what appeared to be the wreckage of smoke grenades. The four of them did not see the expected bloodbath.

Where did the enemy go?

"Clang~~~Clang~~~Clang~~~"

Two grenades were thrown from the front and rear of the vehicle and rolled straight into the middle of the crowd. The task force members stared down at them, their eyes following the grenades like cats watching a ball of yarn.

"Watch out for grenades!"

Someone shouted, and the cats scattered in all directions, trying to find cover from the shrapnel, but it was too late.

Two loud explosions rang out almost simultaneously, and sharp shrapnel, like invisible blades, swept through the crowd.

Screams rose and fell. The innermost task force members instantly fell silent, using their bodies to shield themselves from most of the shrapnel. The outermost members were thrown to the ground by the shockwave, their ears ringing and their vision going black.

After the two blood-and-flesh lotus flowers exploded, Xiao Miao and Alice emerged from the front and rear of the car and began firing at the crowd.

The blind and hard-of-hearing special forces members fell to the ground one by one, unable to mount any effective resistance, and were picked off one by one.

Two men managed to escape to the cover, but the moment they leaned out to fire, Xiao Miao sent them to their doom with two bullets.

Splash splash~~~

The scalding hot bullet casings rolled on the ground, the echoes of the gunshots faded away, and the platform fell completely silent.

"Why are they standing together blocking the door? Do they think we're going to just swagger off the train?"

Xiao Miao looked at the corpse at his feet and felt very puzzled. Could it be that he was actually the protagonist of an online novel and had a brain-depressing aura around him?

Alice shrugged. "How should I know? Back in the Hive, I had a feeling that the Umbrella Corporation's task force wasn't very smart."

Xiao Miao nodded in agreement. He had noticed this when watching movies in his previous life: these heavily armed guys often did some baffling things that made people's blood pressure rise.

The two donned pre-prepared gas masks, blasted open the main entrance, and stormed into the base. Scattered resistance was no match for the attack of a sharpshooter and a T-virus test subject, and the first two floors of the base were quickly breached by the two.

The steel door to the third floor entrance was wide open, seemingly indifferent to anyone coming and going, but neither Xiao Miao nor Alice made any rash moves, because what lay before them was a laser tunnel.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Xiao Miao instantly transformed into a giant bomber, and after two explosions, the laser tunnel was completely clear.

After passing through the passage and arriving at the hall, dozens of researchers in white coats were hiding there. Upon seeing Xiao Miao and Alice, many of them trembled like leaves and dared not raise their heads. Some even knelt on the ground and kowtowed repeatedly, begging the two to show mercy.

Alice looked at Xiao Miao, unsure of what to do in this situation.

Xiao Miao tucked the two guns back under his armpits.

When the researchers saw Xiao Miao's actions, they were all overjoyed, thinking that he would not kill non-combatants. But then they saw Xiao Miao pull out an automatic rifle from behind him and load it.

The researchers' smiles froze instantly.

Da da da da! Da da da da!

After firing a burst of bullets, all the researchers in the hall lay in pools of blood. Xiao Miao changed bullets expressionlessly, as if he had just killed a few dozen pigs.

These people's actions are a modern version of Unit 731; they deserve to be torn to pieces. This has nothing to do with nationality; they have stood on the opposite side of humanity.

Alice leaned over the central control computer and started typing on the keyboard to activate the virus inactivation program. Xiao Miao waited for a moment, but there was still no message that the mission was completed.

I killed someone and disinfected the area; doesn't that count as me completing my mission?

Suddenly, Xiao Miao's ears twitched as he vaguely heard the roar of an engine. He exchanged glances with Alice, followed the sound, and quickly passed through two isolation doors, arriving at a wide tunnel that was carved out at an angle.

A military Humvee is speeding away inside the tunnel!

It was obvious without even thinking that the person sitting in the car was the base leader. Xiao Miao had a feeling that he could complete the mission by killing the other party!

"Chase!"

At the tunnel's starting point, a bunch of military Humvees were parked, all with their keys thoughtfully inserted. Xiao Miao and his companion jumped into the car, started the engine, and the Humvees shot off like arrows.

Inside the car ahead, Dr. Isaac frequently glanced at the rearview mirror, his face contorted with rage as he saw the enemy relentlessly pursuing him.

"Useless, a bunch of useless trash, they broke through so quickly..."

The attack came so suddenly that Dr. Isaac had no idea what was going on.

Moreover, the speed at which his own guards were defeated was faster than he had imagined, leaving him no time to devise countermeasures and forcing him to flee in panic.

"Go to hell!"

After the Hummer passed a certain point in the tunnel, Isaac pressed a few keys on his portable microcomputer. The rumble of machinery echoed from inside the tunnel walls, and then a gap opened in the inner wall, allowing four Lickers to slowly crawl into the tunnel.

............

The dead virus, with its specialized infection speed, spread rampantly throughout the city, its roars tearing apart the darkest hours before dawn.

The night is the domain of the undead, and humans are completely reduced to prey. Under the streetlights, a woman commuting to work early in the morning frantically waves her umbrella, only to be mercilessly pounced on by a group of undead.

The sound of chewing filled the air, and the woman's desperate screams attracted more corpses. The feast lasted less than a minute before the corpses released their grip and dispersed, for the woman had become one of them.

A twisted and deformed private car lay across the middle of the road, blocking the way of a relatively intact bus. The dozen or so people on the bus witnessed the tragedy and covered their mouths tightly, too afraid to make a sound.

After the surrounding corpses dispersed, everyone dared to breathe heavily. Some collapsed, some called for help, some discussed countermeasures, and some rubbed their hands together with excitement.

The passengers on the bus were a diverse group, including office workers, delinquent youths, couples on a date, and Saeko Busujima, who was alone. Together, they formed the survival team on the bus.

Saeko Busujima swallowed hard, suppressing her bloodthirsty urge to unleash violence, and listened quietly to the discussion, assessing who were worthy of being her escape partners.

After listening to Xiao Miao's words, she originally wanted to take a plane directly to the United States to find her father. However, she was delayed because she was sorting through her mother's belongings. When she went out again, she happened to be caught in the outbreak of the zombies and was forced to escape to a bus for refuge.

The group quickly came up with a plan and decided to clear the dead bodies near the bus first. Saeko Busujima volunteered to join the cleanup team, and her amazing skills shocked everyone. The delinquents who originally had dirty thoughts about her immediately became well-behaved upon seeing her.

But Saeko Busujima is, after all, just an ordinary person. The intense battle was very physically demanding. She wanted to retreat to the car to rest, but was morally blackmailed by the people who stayed in the car.

"You're so capable, you should protect us!"

"Stop pretending! Go and fight the zombies, they're all coming."

"Are you trying to slack off?"

"What huge breasts! It's disgusting. Why don't you just die?"

Seeing this, the repressed desires of the group of delinquents stirred again. The aloof beauty was drenched in sweat, her rounded curves exuding feminine charm, and the air around her was filled with the scent of hormones.

The small head controls the big head. The delinquents realized that now was the best time to make their move. Anyway, the surrounding zombies had been almost completely cleared away, so they had plenty of time to have some fun first.

Saeko Busujima's face turned grim. Realizing something was wrong, she immediately retreated, a fierce glint flashing in her eyes as she pondered how to take one of them down first.

The delinquents leered and surrounded them, their intentions obvious.

Suddenly, the vibration of an engine roaring came from the side. Everyone turned their heads to look at the sound and saw that the unremarkable roller shutter door on the side of the street opened automatically, revealing the hidden tunnel exit.

The roar grew closer, and then a Hummer flew out of the tunnel and, to everyone's horror, crashed headfirst into a bus in the middle of the road.
