Bartel dodged the attack and raised his longsword to stab the pigman's throat, but it bit him down.

The pig-man kicked Batel to the ground, stomped on him, turned and spat out the longsword, then said to his companion, "Don't just stand there! Go to the carriage!"

As he spoke, the pigman increased the pressure. Bartel held on tightly to its feet with both hands, but couldn't budge an inch. His face turned purplish-red, and he was about to be crushed to death. Norn shouted:

"It got away?! What are you all standing around for?! Why aren't you chasing after it?!" the cat-man roared angrily, then picked a few of its subordinates. "You go after it, we'll handle things here!"

The men nodded and turned their horses to chase after them.

The cat-man dismounted and drew the long, thin sword from his waist.

Seeing Xize pointing his sword at him, the cat-man's anger intensified.

"You, a demi-human, are actually siding with humans? Don't you feel ashamed?!"

"I'm just doing this for money. This young man is my employer. If he dies, will you pay me?"

"Hmph! All kobolds are the same, wagging their tails at whoever has the meat. Oh, sorry, except for you, Bob."

The kobold named Bob glanced helplessly at his leader.

The cat-man's agile figure swiftly rushed towards Xize, his sword flashing with a cold light as he thrust forward.
