In the evening, the computer room of the Computer Association was even busier than during the day.

A group of male students from the Computer Association were gathered in a circle in front of the computer by the window.

The screen displays the test interface for "Rebirth Simulator".

Someone drew a gold talent card, and several people nearby shouted "Holy crap!" at the same time.

Someone in front of another computer was yelling, "This equipment increases appearance, not intelligence," and was retorted by the person next to him, "So what if it increases appearance? Being good-looking is a skill too."

The group burst into laughter and continued testing.

Several male students from the School of Humanities sat scattered in the computer lab, each occupying a corner.

Some were typing away on their keyboards, writing about things related to physical education students.

Some people write a few lines, then stop to think, scratch their heads, and continue.

Others proceed slowly and methodically, one step at a time, very steadily.

Occasionally, someone would look up and call out "Sister Wei" to the empty corner.

No one answered, and he remembered that Xu Wei had gone out to buy fruit, so he lowered his head and continued writing.

Li Yue and Zhang Yuan sat at the very back, heads close together, facing the same computer.

The screen displays lines of code; the forum's framework has been built.

"The backend is basically working. Is your homepage up and running?" Zhang Yuan asked.

Li Yue didn't look up: "Soon, the test version will be released tonight."

The door was gently pushed open.

A girl walked in.

She wore a white dress, her long hair draped over her shoulders, and her figure was graceful.

She walked very lightly, like a white cat that had accidentally wandered into a computer room, and didn't even dare to make a sound with the door hinges.

The lights in the server room fell on her face, making her skin look like moonlight on frost.

Her eyebrows and eyes were delicate, like the few strokes lightly drawn in a traditional Chinese ink painting.

She had a long, slender neck, delicate collarbones, and her skirt just covered her knees, revealing a dazzlingly white calf.

She stood there, neither advancing nor retreating, as if unsure whether she should continue walking in.

The first person to see her was a male student from the Computer Science Association by the window, who was shouting, "Choose this one, choose that one."

He suddenly stopped mid-sentence, as if someone had grabbed his throat.

The person next to him nudged him, saying, "Just tell me, which one do you choose?"

He didn't reply, but following his gaze, everyone turned around at once.

Zhao Kai's fingers hovered above the keyboard, maintaining a typing posture, as if his entire being had been paused.

Zhang Jianzheng was saving the half-written story about the sports student incident by clicking "Save".

A dialog box popped up on the screen. He opened his mouth slightly, but forgot to click "OK".

Chen Yu raised his head, glanced at it, lowered his head, and then raised it again.

He drew a line on the notebook with his finger, and the pen ran out of ink, but he didn't notice.

Li Yue's fingers were typing a line of CSS when she suddenly stopped halfway through.

She stared at the unbelievably beautiful girl, then leaned back, the chair creaking loudly.

The swivel chair spun around a little, and Li Yue turned to the side, resting her arm on the back of the chair, tilting her head to look at the person in the doorway.

I smiled unconsciously.

Zhang Yuan was drinking cola when he heard the server room suddenly fall silent. He subconsciously looked up and was met with the moonlight that had entered the server room.

He choked on the cola, turned his face away abruptly, and coughed violently, his shoulders shaking and his ears turning bright red.

He squeezed the Coke can so hard it made a "crack" sound. He hurriedly put it on the table, and the can hit the edge of the table, wobbled a couple of times, but didn't fall over.

No one laughed at him. Everyone was looking at the doorway.

The girl walked a few steps inside, her gaze sweeping over the group of people, but she couldn't find the person she was looking for.

"Is Ye Ming there?" she asked, her voice soft, like a cool summer breeze.

Li Yue snapped out of her daze: "He hasn't arrived yet, why don't you sit down for a while?"

She stood up and pulled out the chair next to her.

The girl hesitated for a moment, then walked over and sat down.

She gathered her skirt, rested her fingers on her knees, and straightened her back.

Li Yue sat down, glanced at her, and then glanced at her again.

"This is our second meeting. Which college are you from?" she asked.

Shen Zhiyi didn't really remember this senior, but she was too embarrassed to say it, so she simply replied, "School of Information Science."

"What year?"

"Sophomore year."

"A sophomore?" Li Yue looked her up and down. "What year?"

"91."

Li Yue paused for a moment, then turned to look at Zhang Yuan: "Born in '91? Isn't that younger than Ye Ming?" Zhang Yuan didn't say anything and put down his Coke.

Li Yue turned back and smiled, "A sophomore, younger than you, isn't that Ye Ming's senior from junior year?"

The girl didn't say anything, but a small patch of her ears turned red.

Zhang Yuan coughed beside him and said, "Why are you asking them so many questions? Are you checking their household registration?"

Li Yue waved her hand and turned back to continue coding.

The girl sat there quietly, her fingers resting on her knees.

His eyes were fixed on the table, his eyelashes drooping, casting a small shadow under the light.

A few minutes later, the door was pushed open.

Ye Ming walked in, and the girl looked up at him. The panic in her eyes disappeared instantly, leaving only surprise.

He saw her and was taken aback: "You're here?" Shen Zhiyi nodded and stood up.

Ye Ming put down his backpack and turned on his computer: "This is the game."

He turned the screen around and explained how to play to her.

Shen Zhiyi sat down, her eyes fixed on the screen. As Ye Ming spoke, her gaze followed the movement of his fingers.

After finishing his explanation, Ye Ming suddenly remembered something: "Right, we need to sign a confidentiality agreement. The game hasn't been released yet."

Shen Zhiyi nodded and was about to reply when Li Yue interjected, "Hey, Ye Ming, why do you make every pretty girl sign an agreement?"

Xu Wei signed, Ruan Xing signed, and now the senior student wants to sign too?

Ye Ming glanced at Li Yue: "This is the rule; everyone has to sign it. Also, I'm not a junior student."

Li Yue laughed: "You're a year older than her, she's a sophomore, and you're a freshman, so aren't you the older junior?"

Zhang Yuan couldn't help but chuckle.

Shen Zhiyi lowered her head, her ears were bright red, and her fingers were clenching the hem of her clothes.

Ye Ming almost lost his composure. He took a deep breath, pulled a blank agreement out of his bag, and handed it over.

Shen Zhiyi took it, quickly signed it, and pushed the agreement back.

Ye Ming put the agreement away and let her continue playing the game.

She clicked the mouse a few times, and the text on the screen jumped around, but she couldn't read a single word.

After finishing one game, she started another. This time, she chose "Max Intelligence," and the events progressed very quickly; she couldn't remember any of them.

The mouse hovered on the screen, motionless for a long time.

"What's wrong?" Ye Ming asked.

"N-nothing," she said, standing up. "I'll head back now."

Ye Ming was taken aback: "Want to play a little longer?"

Shen Zhiyi felt extremely flustered. She shook her head, pushed the chair back, picked up her schoolbag, and turned to walk towards the door.

Ye Ming followed her and opened the door for her.

She walked past him with her head down, her steps quick.

Ye Ming stood at the door, watching her back as she walked away, frowning in thought.

Games aren't fun?

No, it's the UI that's ugly. Girls really are visual creatures.

The logic makes sense!

The game itself is fine; the problem lies with the UI.

The corridor lights were dim, and the white skirt swayed briefly at the corner before disappearing.

He stood there, thinking that those legs... that white dress was so white.

This is the epitome of elegant and sophisticated aesthetics!

In the corridor, Shen Zhiyi walked quickly forward.

Her heart was beating so fast that she could even hear the blood pounding in her ears.

The words we just spoke in the computer room are still echoing in my mind.

Even though you're a senior student or a junior student, you wouldn't dare bully me after we signed the agreement.

She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and slowed her pace.

A person walked towards me from around the corner.

She was carrying a bag of fruits, wearing a light pink cardigan over a white T-shirt, and her long hair cascaded down her shoulders in waves.

The afternoon sun slanted in through the window at the end of the corridor, falling on that face, making her features so bright they were almost dazzling.

Shen Zhiyi was stunned for a moment; she recognized this face.

Separated by glass and crowds, far away, under the sycamore trees.

She took a half step back, her fingers gripping the strap of her schoolbag.

Xu Wei also saw her.

The corridor was dimly lit, but the face was so white it was almost blinding.

Her eyebrows and eyes were faint, like distant mountains, spread out there gently and lightly.

His nose was straight, his lips were pursed, and he neither smiled nor spoke.

She stood quietly, like snowflakes falling on a branch.

Xu Wei paused for a moment, then slowed her pace.

The two people simultaneously turned to the side, moved to the same side, and then stopped at the same time.

Xu Wei switched the fruit to her other hand and moved it aside.

Shen Zhiyi walked away sideways, and no one spoke.

The hem of her skirt swayed gently at her feet, and the footsteps faded into the distance.

Xu Wei stood there, watching the white figure disappear at the end of the corridor.

He stood there for two seconds, glanced down at the fruit in his hand, picked it up, and continued walking towards the computer room.
