Tokyo, the shady intelligence of private detectives

The president of the East Asia Association would contact him sooner or later. Masahiro Hanyu had this in mind. After all, Yoshihei Okita could not remain indifferent to the assassination of Lady Nagiharu.

"Oh, it's the chairman. Hello, hello. How can I help you?" Masahiro Yuzuru asked respectfully.

"I would like to see you. Is this a convenient time for you?" Yoshihei Okita asked politely.

"Convenient! When? Where?" Masahiro Hanyu wanted to meet with the chairman.

Although Lady Nagi Haru just stated that she bought Otto Ping S and Wakasu because of her own desires, Masahiro Hanyu still believes that it is related to Yoshihei Okita. Every piece of information from the system is worth investigating in depth.

"Excuse me, did you sleep with her?" Yoshihei Okita suddenly asked this question.

"Ah!" Masahiro Hanyu exclaimed in surprise, "Sleep with! Sleep with whom?"

"You just met with her," Yoshihei Okita said, his tone devoid of any emotion. "She thought she was being discreet, but how could she hide it from me!"

It turns out that what Mrs. Nagiharu thought was a secret was all under the surveillance of Yoshihei Okita. If that's the case, is the disappearance of the first two detectives related to this chairman?

On the phone, he heard Yoshihei Okita laugh. "There aren't many people who can abide by professional rules. Mr. Yuzuru can abide by them, which is worthy of respect."

"I'll be waiting for you at the top floor of the Aoshio Building, Shiodome 2-chome, Tominato-ku."

After hanging up the phone, Masahiro Hanyu looked around but found no signs of anyone following him.

He then called Yui Satsuki, explaining the address he was going to. With the help of the investigation department, he felt safer.

In 1992, Shiodome had not yet undergone large-scale renovations. On one side was the bustling traffic of Ginza, and on the other side was the tranquil Tokyo Bay.

The Qingxi Building stands in the center of the block. It is a new high-rise building completed in 1988. The first to thirty-seven floors are business offices and foreign-related clubs. However, the top floor was completely bought out and designated as the private property of the president of the East Asia Association.

Regular visitors can only take the public elevator to the office floors; the top floor button is permanently locked.

When Masahiro Hanyu arrived at the back of the building, two burly security guards stood inside a dark, ornate iron gate. After confirming Hanyu's identity, they opened the gate to let him in.

Inside was a separate elevator. There was no one to guide him. After Masahiro Hanyu entered the elevator, it automatically and slowly ascended to the top floor.

The elevator stopped, the doors opened silently, and Masahiro Hanyu stepped out.

The space in front of them was spacious, with a standard boxing ring in the center, where two boxers were sparring.

As Masahiro Hanyu looked around, a burly man walked over from one side of the boxing ring.

Looking to be in his forties and standing at least 2 meters tall, Masahiro Hanyu felt a sense of pressure when he walked up to him.

"Hello, Mr. Yuzuru, I am Yoshihei Okita."

Masahiro Hanyu bowed slightly. "President Okita, it's an honor to meet you."

Yoshihei Okita smiled. "No need to be so polite, please come and sit down."

The two walked to one side of the boxing ring, where there was a rustic wooden low table, elegant tea set, and floor-to-ceiling sliding window. They could see the lights of Tokyo and the faint ripples of the sea in the distance.

"Mr. Yuzuru, there's no need to be nervous. We're just having a casual chat." Yoshihei Okita poured tea and pushed it in front of Masahiro Yuzuru.

Masahiro Hanyu sat upright. "Thank you. I'm not nervous at all. After all, I'm someone who follows the rules of the profession."

Yoshihei Okita said calmly, "Judging from the time Mr. Yuzuru went in and came out, it should be true. After all, he slept with that woman, and she wouldn't allow it to end so quickly."

When he said these words, Yoshihei Okita remained calm, as if he were talking about something that had nothing to do with him.

"So you knew everything!" Masahiro Hanyu looked at Okita. "Then why didn't you stop her? After all, Nagi Haru is your lover."

Yoshihei Okita smiled. "Why should I stop her? I never wanted to get too entangled with her in the first place."

Yuzuru Masahiro looked puzzled. "You wanted her so badly that you even resorted to extreme measures..."

Yoshihei Okita leaned back. "I couldn't forget Nagi Haru after meeting her once, so when I went to a family dinner, I slipped an aphrodisiac into her drink. Then Hirano Shōmei broke off his engagement with her and gave her to me. Is that what she told you?"

Masahiro Hanyu said with surprise, "Yes, you even know what she said."

Yoshihei Okita picked up his teacup and drank it all in one gulp. "I know very well what she's done. She doesn't want to be with me willingly."

"The truth is, when I first met Nagi Haru, I praised her a few times in front of Hirano Shōmei. After all, she is a beautiful woman, and it was just an expression of appreciation. I didn't mean anything else."

"But Hirano Shōmei misunderstood. He thought I liked Nagi Haru. That time he invited me to a family dinner, and I got drunk."

"I opened my eyes and found Nagi Haru sitting on me, and we were having sex."

Masahiro Hanyu frowned. "Is that so? That surprised me."

Yoshihei Okita sighed. "That's just how it is. With my status, finding a woman wouldn't be difficult, so why would I bother with my own brother's wife?"

"Besides, I don't actually like married women. Doing it always feels like sharing with someone else, and I don't like that feeling."

"I have this feeling when I'm with Nagi Haru, so much so that it often ends quickly."

Yuzuru Masahiro tentatively asked, "So, will Lady Nagiharu...buy some medicine for you to help you last longer?"

"Yes, Otto Ping and Wakasu, she often buys these for me." Yoshihei Okita did not hide anything, his tone frank.

Yuzuru Masahiro was even more puzzled. "But not long ago, Lady Nagi Haru said that she bought these two supplementary drugs because of her excessive desires."

Yoshihei Okita frowned slightly. "He said the same thing to the first two detectives, perhaps just to find an excuse. The real reason might be to retaliate against my indifference, or perhaps to retaliate against Hirano Shōmei's ruthlessness."

Masahiro Hanyu nodded. "Did Mr. Okita see me just to clarify this matter?"

Yoshihei Okita picked up a remote control from the coffee table. "It's not just about this. My wife, Mizuki Abu, met with you privately because of her suspicions."

"Now, I can clear up one of Mr. Yuzuru's doubts."

He pressed the remote control, and a huge screen in the center of the room lit up.

Masahiro Hanyu's eyes widened; the scene playing on the screen astonished him...
