You were told to search and attack, but you're supporting Asara?

Chapter 1: The Rat's Training Mission Leads to Danger; The Veteran Cleverly Searches the Milita

"Delta Force pure green running knife rat liver, 9-slot crotch 1000w/60r, college students earning some living expenses, bosses have pity on them~"

Chen Xiao typed this line of text, then mechanically copied it by clicking on the next video in the order of highest view count.

The curtains in the dilapidated rental room were tightly closed, tissues were scattered all over the floor, and takeout boxes were piled up on the table. The dim white light emitted from the old monitor reflected Chen Xiao's young but unshaven appearance.

"Delta has been around for several years, and everyone is familiar with the maps, so it's getting harder and harder to get delivery jobs."

Chen Xiao sighed. He wasn't a college student; he was just an orphan who barely made a living by playing game boosting services.

The curtains in the cluttered rented room were drawn tightly shut, so he couldn't see the several large black characters that suddenly appeared high in the sky:

Loading progress - 25%, proceeding to the next node.

He only belatedly drew back the curtains when his attention was drawn to the commotion on the street.

A group of people were pointing at the sky. Before Chen Xiao could figure out what was going on, everything went black and he collapsed to the ground.

······

The buzzing of propellers filled Chen Xiao's ears, followed by a burst of noisy electrical activity:

"We are about to land. Let's reconfirm our objectives."

"Remember the following instructions, complete the task, and obtain the target reward."

"Search for high-value supplies and evacuate safely as soon as possible."

"What is this thing?" Chen Xiao's mind was in a daze. With a "rip," the hatch opened, and a howling wind rushed in, making it difficult for him to open his eyes.

The fully armed man sitting opposite him stood up, snapped the buckle onto the helicopter, kicked down a rope inside the cabin, and waved to Chen Xiao.

"Remember these points: Engage, search! Defeat, and withdraw!"

The cold, hard voice came through the earphones again, issuing its instructions.

Chen Xiao was half-dragged and half-shoved to the hatch. He instinctively gripped the rope tightly. The feeling of rapid descent jolted him back to his senses.

"Holy crap! Isn't this a dam??"

The crooked tree by the cliff on the left side of the road, and the crane and white container a little further away on the right, were all etched into Chen Xiao's mind.

"The number one spot in the west building next to the military camp??" Chen Xiao looked incredulous and reached out to pinch himself, accidentally bumping into a hard object he was carrying in his pocket.

"Uzi?!" Chen Xiao exclaimed, looking at the short submachine gun with the wooden stock in his hand. He then glanced at his own clothes.

DRD tactical helmet, DRD tactical body armor, and several sets of 9×19mm white bullets in the chest suspender.

"A recruit uniform voucher?" Chen Xiao frowned, looking at his level two armor. "Did I transmigrate to the Delta Force??"

"Which operator am I playing?"

He touched himself and found nothing but a few medical supplies and a small safe.

Chen Xiao looked at his tattered clothes and clicked his tongue: "With this kind of equipment, I can barely hold my own against the bots."

"Forget it, it's been so long, there's no way we'll make it inside. Let's just grab something to eat and see how things go."

Just as he was thinking, a commotion suddenly came from the cliff on the left. Chen Xiao quickly found a secluded spot and lay down.

A booming, arrogant voice rang out: "Boss! A GTI rat has sneaked in!"

Another deep, hoarse, and cold voice sounded above Chen Xiao's head: "Hmm? Where?!"

"Old Sai?? How did he end up in the military camp??" Chen Xiao's heart tightened, and he gripped the cold butt of his rifle tightly. "He found me so quickly?"

Chen Xiao's mind raced, considering whether he should strike first.

"They crawled in through the pipes and brazenly cracked our computers right at the storage room door. The guys wanted to capture them alive, but those idiots didn't care even with guns pointed at their heads."

"One of them rushed up with a knife and was killed by the brothers, and two others went into hiding."

Hearing the soldier's report, Chen Xiao breathed a heavy sigh of relief: "So it's a pipeline refresh point; they haven't noticed me yet."

"You two guard this place, I'm going to check it out," Said ordered, followed by the sound of ammunition being loaded and hurried footsteps.

"Roger that, boss!"

"Okay, boss!"

As the footsteps faded into the distance, Chen Xiao felt increasingly uneasy.

"If it's a time-travel story, how come there are other players?"

"Moreover, these lines are not in the game at all, and it seems that Said only stays near the military camp in the story."

"Could it be that a group of people were sent into the Delta world?"

Suppressing his doubts, Chen Xiao took advantage of the weakened defenses and stealthily made his way into the military camp.

In any case, it's best to be cautious.

He hid most of his body behind a green military vehicle, peeking out furtively.

Two soldiers, their backs to him wrapped in dark red cloths, idly held shotguns and looked around.

"Hey!" A soldier nudged his comrade. "I'm going to take a leak. You keep watch."

"Hurry up, you're such a busybody." Another soldier said impatiently, "If the boss comes back and doesn't see you, I won't keep it a secret for you."

"Okay, okay, I'll be right back." The soldier slung his shotgun over his shoulder and swaggered off.

"Great opportunity!" Chen Xiao pulled out his Uzi and aimed it at the soldier who was leaning against the door frame, dozing off out of boredom.

Just then, a violent explosion and gunfire suddenly erupted above the military camp.

Startled, Chen Xiao nearly dropped his submachine gun. The soldier, who had been dozing off, suddenly woke up and looked up alertly.

"What's going on?!" Chen Xiao rolled over and hid himself again. "Said just went to fight a weakened team, why is there such a commotion?"

The soldiers guarding the camp were clearly surprised. They looked back at the empty camp and ran towards the upper part of the camp.

Chen Xiao did not give up this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and crouched down to leap into the nearest tent, number 1.

"No insurance applied." Chen Xiao glanced at it casually and began to rummage through the only military medical kit in tent number 1.

"Sterile dressing kit, filter canisters," Chen Xiao said, weighing the small, yellowish-white canisters in his hand. "One purple, one gold, not bad."

He casually stuffed the two items into his pocket. A faint sound of light footsteps echoed in the distance. He thought for a moment, deciding not to disturb Said who was not far away. He turned over to leave, but out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of a dark yellow object flashing across the seat. He grabbed it, stuffed it into his safe, and quietly left along the same route.

Above the military camp.

Said sat in a chair, facing a player who was hanging upside down, also wearing a recruit uniform. He was shouting incessantly into his headset:

"Bro, why are you running away? There's a bug in the military camp that's spawning Old Sai! Come back and kill him!"

Saeed's eyes behind the mask moved, but he remained silent.

"Bullshit! That was a Saeed invasion! Didn't you see his teammate's wire-controlled rocket launcher?! It almost killed me!"

"You tricked me into using your recruit training to fight Said? You're really something else!"

A string of curses came through the hanging man's earpiece.

"Hehe, I didn't fool you. Okay, I'll cancel."

Just as he was trying to figure out how to quit the game, Said spoke in a hoarse voice: "Tell me where your accomplices are, and I can give you a quick death."

The player who was hanging there was clearly stunned for a moment: "Holy crap, there's a full microphone? I knew this Delta Force in reality would be different from the computer version."

He said with a fawning smile, "Big brother is almost at the container in the back of the administration building. He's running so fast, he must be shipping something. Big brother, you must kill him."

"Hmph, traitor who betrayed his comrades!" Said sneered disdainfully, drew his Crimson Owl, and slashed open Said's neck with a backhand stroke, blood spurting out.

"Why is Said talking so childishly?" the player thought in his last moments before losing consciousness.

Said glanced at the corpse whose pupils were gradually dilating, took out his phone, and ordered, "The GTI rats are about to escape to the administration building, everyone on alert!"
