Tokusatsu: Me, the Police God in the Kamen Rider World

Chapter 30 Uncovering Weather Additives, the Butterfly Effect Emerges

Minato took Mina back to his apartment. As soon as they entered, they noticed an email on the door. They knew without a doubt that it was from Waka-chan.

He put the email away and led Mina into the house—it wasn't too dirty since he hadn't been back for a few days.

After putting away his luggage, Mina ruffled Mina's hair and said, "Sit down and rest for a while. Something happened in Fengdu while I was away. I'm going to the police station to check on things."

"Okay, Minato-kun, you can go ahead and get busy." Mina nodded obediently.

Over the past few days in Southeast Asia, the two have grown much closer, and Mina has changed her initial nickname for him from "Mr. Namikaze" to the more affectionate "Mr. Minato."

"Okay, call me if you need anything." Minato made a phone call gesture, thinking to himself that the newly customized Eagle phone should be ready by now.

As soon as he stepped out of the apartment, his phone was handed to him. Minato immediately dialed Makura's number.

Based on past experience, Makura must have accumulated a lot of case materials.

Not long after, Minato arrived at the police station. Makura and Rinno were both surprised to see him: "Minato-kun? Why are you back? Didn't you say you were going to take a month's leave?"

Minato explained with a smile, "There was a slight accident. I finished what I needed to do ahead of schedule, so I came back to check on things."

Without asking any further questions, the two quickly handed over the documents that Minato had requested.

As he was leaving, Renno leaned closer and whispered a reminder: "Minato, this case involves the Sonozaki family. You know their influence in Fuuto, so be careful."

Minato paused for a moment, then nodded, seemingly lost in thought.

As he left the police station, he had roughly figured out the case. The key clues were all at the Sonozaki family's house, but Sonozaki Ryubei had already hinted to the police not to investigate any further.

Given the power of the Sonozaki family, the subsequent investigation will definitely be very troublesome.

Minato frowned, then relaxed—no matter what, he'd go check on Sonozaki's family first.

Before long, he arrived at the Sonozaki residence. The villa before him was magnificent, with carved beams and painted rafters, truly living up to its reputation as a top-tier wealthy family in Fuuto.

Minato glanced at them briefly, then his gaze quickly fell on the man walking towards him—Sudo Kirihiko.

Sudo Kirihiko, a wry smile on his face, walked up to Minato: "What brings you here? What do you want?"

Minato's tone was calm, and his smile remained unchanged: "I'm here to investigate a case."

"Is it the case of the missing pastry chef?" Sudo Kirihiko asked.

"Um."

Upon receiving the answer, Sudo Kirihiko breathed a sigh of relief; he had thought Minato had come to directly challenge the Sonozaki family.

He was currently conflicted. What was hidden in the basement of the Sonozaki family's house was indeed astonishing, but it hadn't yet crossed his bottom line.

However, the arrival of Minato still made him nervous, and for a moment he couldn't decide what to do.

"Sudo, do you have any leads on the case of the missing pastry chef?" Minato Namikaze asked with a smile, his tone light and cheerful, without a trace of harshness.

Sudo Kirihiko was speechless, wondering to himself: How did I end up being this kid's mole?

He shook his head helplessly, "I lost my memory, and I was squeezed out of the core of power long ago. I can't get involved in many things."

As he said this, a hint of resentment lingered in his eyes. If his memory hadn't been taken away, he wouldn't have ended up like this.

Minato Namikaze felt a little embarrassed by the look in his eyes, scratched the back of his head, and didn't reply.

They were enemies to begin with, but now they have common interests.

Minato wasn't foolish enough to help his opponent. Since Sudo had no leads, he stopped talking and turned to search elsewhere. But Sudo suddenly spoke up behind him.

"Be careful, a strange guy recently moved into my house. He has an incredibly powerful memory chip..."

"Is it the weather?" Minato interrupted with a smile before Sudo could finish speaking.

Startled by the sudden interruption, Sudo froze, his expression instantly changing: "How did you know?!"

Minato raised an eyebrow, looking like he had just thought of it.

He had already fought the weather dopant earlier, but he hadn't seen it clearly. Now he could finally confirm it.

I didn't expect Isaka Shinkuro to appear so early. It seems his arrival has really caused quite a few butterfly effects.

As the two were talking, a familiar figure rushed over.

Shotaro rushed to Minato, his face full of confusion: "Minato? What are you doing here? Didn't you just get home?"

Minato laughed and joked, "What else could I do? Some half-baked guy almost ruined my commission, so I had to make the trip myself."

With a mocking look in his eyes, Shotaro's face darkened instantly, and he turned his head away, adopting a "I can't be bothered with you" attitude.

As soon as Shotaro appeared, Kirihiko Sudo instinctively turned and ran. This completely bewildered Shotaro.

Scratching his head, he muttered, "What's going on? He left as soon as I arrived. Are they making a secret deal?"

As he was pondering this, Minato patted him on the shoulder: "Why are you the only one here? Where's the chief?"

Upon hearing this, Shotaro's face darkened even more, his tone full of headache: "Who else could it be? That idiot Akiko?"

"She went undercover at Sonozaki's house!" Just thinking about that girl's reckless behavior gave him a huge headache; he couldn't stop her at all.

Seeing his helpless expression, Minato couldn't help but chuckle. He quickly suppressed his smile and looked at the villa not far away: "Shall we go in and take a look?"

Shotaro was taken aback: "Huh? You're going in too?"

"How can we find clues if we don't go in?" Minato said, his eyes suddenly lighting up. He pulled out a cell phone and gently twisted it, instantly transforming it into the shape of a flying eagle.

The red eagle was so lifelike, as if it understood his words, that it flapped its wings and flew into the villa.

Shotaro's eyes widened in astonishment: "W-This is yours? That's so cool!"

"Yeah, just got it." Minato nodded with a smile. Shotaro stared at him, finding the guy increasingly mysterious.

Having known him for over a month, he had never truly understood this seemingly sunny and cheerful man. Minato was not only mysterious, but his strength was also ridiculously high, far surpassing his own.

But Shotaro wasn't ashamed at all; instead, his eyes blazed with fighting spirit as he clenched his fist: "Hey, Minato, I'll definitely solve this case before you do!"

Minato turned around and looked at him seriously. As their eyes met, a competitive tension instantly filled the air.

Shotaro Zuo's fighting spirit was ignited, and he secretly made up his mind that he would definitely have a showdown with Minato this time.

But the next second, Minato's gentle voice broke the tension: "By the way, do you know what good food the wind has?"

"Huh?" Shotaro's spirits immediately deflated, his face darkening. "So, all that seriousness you were going to do was because you were thinking about food?"

"There's nothing I can do. I haven't eaten anything since I got off the plane. You know, food is essential for life." Minato smiled innocently.

Left with no other choice, Shotaro rolled his eyes and pointed him in the direction of a noodle shop.

Minato turned around and went back to the apartment, taking Mina, who hadn't eaten either, with him, and they hurried to the noodle shop.

The roadside noodle shop was small, and the two ordered two bowls of noodles.
