Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: The Path of Evolution

After making a fuss for a while, Joel went to take a shower.

Meanwhile, Kanpaku sat by the window, looking at the city of Shindomino at night.

A familiar yet unfamiliar aerial view.

I've seen this city so many times in anime and games.

However, even now, seeing this place still feels unfamiliar to him.

Outside the city's central penthouse district, highways neatly divide the city into equal parts.

It was so neat and orderly that it felt a bit cold.

He even felt that the satellite area amidst the ruins was warmer than this place.

Guan Bai understood that this was just an instinctive reaction to being in an unfamiliar place.

He just needs some time to adjust.

Compared to other trivial matters, the most important thing for Kanbai is still opening card packs.

Reputation and women are all meaningless.

Only the card in my hand is so real.

They can help them win.

Only victory could prevent him from being swallowed up by this cold city.

These are the card packs I've accumulated over this period of time.

I've almost completed my Daishin deck with Kanpaku, so I'm using it mainly to make it easier to draw spell cards.

However, the Dragoon Regiment still has a lot of room to grow stronger.

It all depends on what kind of cards you get.

Let's have some pictures of the Senate and the Commander-in-Chief; even better if there are modern gun-wielding gods.

So first activate the Great Sun, then magic, then traps, and finally the Dragon Riders.

We open card packs, and we also have our own mysterious methods for using "padding" (or "padding")!

Kanpaku mentally opened the Daiichi-themed card pack.

There's no need to look at the cards you draw from Daishin, but the Kanpaku (chief advisor) opened a Cotton Candy card from the Daishin card pack.

Guan Bai thought that apart from the cards with increased probability, the only things he could get from the card packs were low-level junk like White Hole and Mortal Bone!

It's pretty good; it can be used for both survival and burning blood.

They can be added to a Great Sun deck or used as materials.

Next, open the Spell and Trap Card Pack.

A forbidden, torrent burial, and Hanno's sublime power 3.0 - mental collapse!

In magic, the spells you draw are Whirlwind, Forced Exchange, and Mind Change.

Forbidden Cards: Heavenly Gift and Greed...

Well, even in the 5DS world, these two cards are banned.

I can only put it in my space as a collectible.

Also, why are there two Minotaur cards?

Is the system encouraging me to build a team of Tauren (human) characters?

Then my cards aren't all complete either.

Guan Bai continued scrolling down to view the cards that had been drawn.

There's also a picture of the dead coming back to life!

If we're talking about the most significant card in Yu-Gi-Oh!, it has to be Monster Reborn!

This card was already limited to one in DM Duel City.

A noble monster that can unconditionally revive and even dominate other people's graveyards.

Furthermore, it possesses a mysterious quality, symbolizing a ritual of resurrection and rebirth!

These are truly magical little cards that can be used at home, on the go, for playing cards, or even for fighting.

These spells and traps can greatly strengthen Kanpaku's deck!

The power of Death Resurrection and Torrent Burial goes without saying.

Adding the cards Heartbreaker and Forced Transfer to your deck might have some surprising effects!

While mentally planning the changes to his deck, Kanpaku turned his attention to the last card, the Dragoon theme.

—The cards I got earlier were pretty good, so the Dragon Rider Legion card I get from the previous draws should be pretty powerful too, right?

This is not the mentality of a gambling addict.

This is the science of a seasoned gacha player!

Slide open the card pack with the image of the Dragon Slayer on the cover, and fifty cards will fly out.

Red Spear Dragon Knight x1, Trident Dragon Knight x1, Calamity Sword x1, Dragon Rider Regiment - Commander x2.

That's really great.

The Crimson Spear Dragon Knights, a collection of dragon and bird-beast monsters, were once the core transit point for the Blast Dragon Rider Legion.

Calamity Sword, a high-ranking card in the archetype, can be Special Summoned from the hand or graveyard.

Because it also has the effect of equipping Graveyard Dragon, it can be combined with Square Dragon to quickly get a 10-star white.

Of course, Guan Bai doesn't have any ten-star monsters right now.

However, the 2600 attack power of the Demon Sword itself, along with the sustain effect of sending it to the Graveyard to summon equipment, is already good enough.

Moreover, Guan Bai has always had a special fondness for these high-star, high-attack dragons.

Commander is one of the few special summons in the main faction; he can be special summoned when there is a Dragoon monster or Dragon Valley on the field.

It can synchronize two cards, making it easy to produce either the Red Spear or the Thunder Spear.

If you don't draw the Little Dragon, you can still do an Xyz with the Commander to barely get a good start.

Furthermore, its 1800 rating still holds its own in this era.

Of course, there are no Xyz cards in the 5DS world.

Now, with the Dragon Riders card, plus Zephyros given by Raven and his own Valley of the Dawn components, he has a strong foundation.

Kanpaku has already been able to build a deck that can barely generate a burst of power.

Of course, this refers to the upper limit.

Normally, I would definitely start by covering the card.

Moreover, Guan Bai lacks terminals; to this day, he still doesn't have any good eight- or ten-star whites.

However, there will always be a future.

For now, let's make the most of the available resources.

Just as Kanpaku was about to adjust his deck, an unexpected change occurred.

The powerful roar of the dragon echoed between heaven and earth.

A faint heat emanated from the stadium, and even inside the stadium, Kanpaku could feel the intense fluctuations!

However, it seems that only Kanpaku noticed it.

Unaware of anything, Joel continued humming a song as he showered in the bathroom.

He quickly looked out the window.

It was as if the entire city was boiling, with ripples spreading through the air like ocean waves.

Is this an omen that only Kanpaku can see?

Sure enough, just as he had guessed.

Two streaks of light flashed by on the highway.

One white and one red, with long, narrow lines, like shooting stars flying across the ground.

It's Jack, and Yusei too!

Tonight, not only Kanpaku is entering the city, but also Fudo Yusei!

According to the plot, tonight is the first battle between Jack and Yusei!

A red dragon will appear, forcibly interrupting the duel.

Crab Bro will be arrested by the police and sent to jail after the duel is interrupted!

Guan Bai felt he had to help You Xing.

It wasn't just because of our shared racing experience.

Furthermore, since the regent has come to this world, he must change something.

While the overall trend of the Lucky Cup and the Earthbound God incident cannot be changed, these unnecessary details should be minimized!

"Yol, I'm going out!"

"Where to?"

Joel turned off the shower and asked.

"I'm going to help a friend, and I might not be back tonight. Can you cover for me?"

Joel immediately got to work, throwing on a bathrobe and running out.

She quickly dried her hands, turned on the computer, and nodded to Guan Bai.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of the traces for you!"

Guan Bai smiled knowingly, then quickly changed into his night robes and opened the window of his hotel room.

Draw cards from the Duel Disk —

"Normal Summoning, Great Sun Soldiers!"

Strengthen your body with Great Japanese soldiers!

A warm, holy light shone forth, enveloping Guan Bai's entire body.

He felt a cool and gentle energy coursing through his body, providing a continuous source of power to every cell in his body.

With the power of the great sun, his physical strength increased exponentially.

As expected of DT Star's super-amplified weapon!

On the sixth floor, nearly twenty meters high, Guan Bai leaped down, landing as silently as a black cat.

As I arrived at the stadium entrance, the vibrations became increasingly clear.

It felt like something was created from nothing, as if flames had appeared from a place where there were no molecules.

The intense light almost illuminated the entire city of Shin-Domino!

The crimson light transformed into a storm, spiraling upwards and soaring into a crimson dragon with outstretched wings!
