Jessica Jones and Mindy, the superhero duo, still relentlessly fight criminals in Hell's Kitchen.

Mark felt this premise was a bit far-fetched; they went to Hell's Kitchen every day to fight monsters, and yet the number of gangsters kept increasing.

It's like Hell's Kitchen is a dungeon that refreshes every day.

Mark went back to his room to attend to his own business.

Once Emma and the water sprite were alone in the living room, Emma glared at the water sprite with resentment, then lowered her voice and warned, "I'm warning you, don't say anything you shouldn't to Mark."

Looking at Emma's resentful eyes, the water sprite chuckled and nodded gently: "Don't worry, I have no interest in exposing you to Mark. Of course, if Mark discovers your true nature himself, then don't blame me."

"Just don't meddle in other people's business." Emma seemed quite confident in her disguise.

The water sprite, finding it amusing, assured her, "Of course."

Emma then gave the water sprite a knowing look before turning around and going back to her room to continue doing her homework.

The water sprite watched Emma's retreating figure with amusement, and suddenly felt sorry for the child.

She may seem to be the worst in the family, but she is actually the weakest. What's most amazing is that she doesn't even realize it.

"This home is so interesting," the water sprite whispered. She was looking forward to life in the future and even felt that staying in this home might be the best decision she had ever made.

After Tony Stark's return, New York was quiet for seven days, as if the commotion in Hell's Kitchen had nothing to do with New York.

During those seven days, almost every day a gang was swallowed up by Hammerhead, and some smart people realized that something was wrong.

Fisker Building.

As the contemporary American underworld emperor, Kingpin's criminal empire spans almost the entire globe, with Hell's Kitchen being the most chaotic area in New York and also its most important underworld stronghold.

Every move there was under his close surveillance.

Kingpin hated the masked vigilantes. Big Daddy and Hit-Girl were actually within his tolerance range; they were just two small fry and not enough to make him take action.

But it's different now.

After Big Daddy died, Hitgirl found a new teammate, who turned out to be a superhuman.

The combination of a powerful female knight and Hit-Girl, who has extensive experience dealing with gangsters, will cause far more damage to the gang than just the sum of its parts.

So he was about to take action because Hit-Girl's criminal activities had been too frequent lately, and more importantly, it seemed that Hit-Girl and her team were being manipulated by Hammerhead.

The Hammerhead family's influence has expanded rather rapidly recently.

Those two foolish superheroes are becoming Hammerhead's henchmen.

"Hammerhead can't be that smart," Kingpin muttered to himself in a low voice.

Bullseye, standing opposite, had a frenzied, excited look in his eyes as he asked, "Should I make a move?"

He has killed many mutants, but unfortunately there are fewer and fewer mutants left, and he hasn't killed a mutant in a long time.

However, killing superpowered individuals is the same; this act of hunting powerful individuals using one's own skills excites him more than the killing itself.

Kingpin nodded and ordered, "Take your men and deal with this. These stupid vigilantes are only disrupting the existing order in Hell's Kitchen."

Jin didn't take HitGirl and the female knight seriously. The reason was simple: the female knight was obviously not professionally trained, and she relied entirely on her physical abilities to fight.

Needless to say, Hit-Girl is just a little girl. Even if she has superhuman strength and is good at killing, she would never be a match for Bullseye.

"Then leave it to me, I can't wait." Bullseye's maniacal laughter gradually faded into the distance.

Kingpin shook his head helplessly at the sight. This was a mad beast that had gone mad. The reason he was willing to keep this mad beast was to keep the chain binding it in his own hands.

When this mad beast becomes uncontrollable one day, he will have no choice but to kill it with a heavy heart.

…………

Inside the Stark Villa.

A week has passed, but Tony Stark has still not made any move on Obadiah. Out of old feelings, he still wants to give his uncle a chance.

He hoped Obadiah would see the error of his ways, so he chose to flex his muscles in front of this uncle.

"Obadia, look, this is my weapon, the most powerful single-soldier combat mech in history. I won't sell it to anyone else because it's too dangerous," Tony Stark said, pointing to the Mark II mech on the console.

Obadiah looked at the mech inside with a kind expression, then asked with a smile, "Tony, you've given me another surprise, but are you really going to just let such a good thing gather dust at home?"

"Of course, this weapon is too dangerous; if it were to circulate, it would be a disaster." Tony Stark nodded matter-of-factly.

Upon hearing this, Obadiah sighed. He had already given his good nephew a chance, but unfortunately, he hadn't seized it.

If it weren't for his increasingly disobedient nephew, he wouldn't have wanted to kill Tony Stark, this goose that could only lay golden eggs.

"Okay, I'll do as you say. I have some things to do, so I'll head back now." Obadiah patted Tony Stark on the shoulder, then turned and left Tony's studio.

Tony Stark looked at Obadiah with hopeful eyes, muttering to himself, "Uncle, I've already given you a chance."

The two, who were giving each other chances, were unaware that some things had already been destined for a certain outcome from the very beginning.

Upon returning to the company, Obadiah immediately notified the research team and then shared the Iron Man armor data he had obtained from Jarvis with everyone.

Obadiah commanded, "Ten days! I want to see the Iron Monger armor finished within ten days."

An older researcher said, "Boss, the mecha itself is fine, but it's missing the most essential energy core, which isn't in the data."

"What?" Obadiah's expression changed.

You should know that he has level two access to Jarvis, and apart from Tony, he is the only one with the highest access level.

Normally, he should have obtained all the information about the armor from Jarvis.

"So... this guy has started to suspect me?" Obadiah thought with a gloomy expression.

It's no wonder he overthinks things. If Tony didn't suspect him, why would he deliberately conceal the information about the Arc Reactor?

Thinking of this, Obadiah's expression also became serious.

Although he, as president, held a portion of Stark Industries' shares, Stark Industries was a family-owned conglomerate, and in the end, he was just a lowly employee.

Tony Stark owns nearly 60% of the shares, and he can be fired at any time if he wants to.

In other words, he secured his position as president only because of Tony Stark's trust.

"You just need to focus on the mechs; I'll handle the energy core issue," Obadiah said with a grim face.

On the other side, Tony Stark listened to Jarvis's report and sighed, "Just as I expected."

Obadiah took the data on the Mark II armor from Jarvis, but this was just a test, so Obadiah did not get the data on the Arc Reactor.

Even so, Tony Stark still wanted to wait and see if Obadiah was really that ruthless.
