Chapter 4: Powerful Beast, Easily Appeased Shrine Maiden, and the Loser

A huge white tiger with pink stripes on its back and a huge black bull ran side by side on the ground.

The ground tremors were caused by these two giant beasts that were running.

"The White Tiger and the Bison!"

Seeing these giant beasts living on the Sky Island, Shen Yun couldn't help but rub his hands together, and decided to run over and analyze these giant beasts from head to toe.

Just as Shen Yun was about to set off, Tidom caught up with him.

The shrine maiden jogged over, her smooth forehead already slightly damp with sweat, and she was even a little out of breath.

"Honestly, why are you running so fast? Don't you even know to wait for me?" The shrine maiden scolded, puffing out her cute cheeks.

"I'm so sorry, I was just too excited. I wonder if the lovely and kind shrine maiden can forgive me?" Shen Yun looked at Tidom's cute puffed-up cheeks and smiled apologetically. Then he put his hands together and coaxed her sincerely.

"Hmph, at least you're sincere." Upon hearing Shen Yun's praise, Tidom's beautiful eyes curved into crescents.

Tidom placed his hands on his hips, slightly raised his delicate chin, revealing his elegant, swan-like neck, and smiled, saying, "I forgive you."

After saying that, Tidom hummed an unknown tune and happily walked towards the direction where the Powermon were.

"Oh, the shrine maiden is so easy to please." Shen Yun couldn't help but smile as he watched Tidom's light and carefree figure, and then quickly followed after him.

The two arrived at the lakeside, where several giant beasts from Sky Island also gathered.

The barking lion, which was standing on the cliff, leaped off the cliff and landed right in front of them.

Meanwhile, the barking sharks in the lake swam to the shore and watched Shen Yun and Tidom.

"Moo!" The barking bison looked down at Shen Yun and exhaled a puff of hot air from its nostrils.

Five giant beasts formed a circle, scrutinizing Shen Yun, who stood beside Tidom, with their eyes wide open.

Finally, the five giant beasts let out a series of low growls at Tidom.

"Huh? How could this happen?!" Tidom exclaimed.

"What's wrong?" Shen Yun turned his gaze away from the five giant beasts in front of him and looked at Tidom beside him, asking.

"The Power Beasts say that although you have the potential to become a wizard, you are not the one they are waiting for. I'm very sorry!" Tidom lowered his head, his face filled with shame, and his voice grew softer and softer.

"That's it? What's there to apologize for?" Shen Yun looked at Tidom, who had a guilty expression, and found it somewhat amusing.

He had no hope from the start. He came to Sky Island simply to study the Power Beasts there and see if he could create the same radish based on their data.

"The Powermon have agreed. However, you absolutely mustn't do anything too outrageous to them, or they might kick you out of Sky Island," Tidom warned Shen Yun.

"How could that be? I was just trying to analyze the composition of the Power Beasts to see if I could try to create one." Shen Yun said, stroking his chin and watching the five giant beasts leave.

"This is even worse!" the shrine maiden cried out in despair.

I'd like to gather some opinions regarding the plot of the Hundred Beasts Scroll. I have two proposals.

1. Using discarded designs from the Beast Sentai series, various powerful beasts can be created, capable of combining with Gao-O and Gao-Hunter, or combining individually to form new mobile suits.

2. Create a Great Beast God. The Beast Song Sword and Shen Yun are separate mechs and do not participate in the fusion.

I'll choose one of these two options, otherwise I'll just go with option 2 by default, since the American version of Power Rangers is part of my childhood.
