The Five Immortals: Heaven, Earth, Man, God, and Ghost.

The following settings are purely fictional and should not be taken seriously.

Ghost Immortal (Specializing in Yin Spirit): A mortal soul or a person who intends to undergo physical liberation to specialize in cultivating their divine soul, without losing their true spirit, and through arduous cultivation until the Yin Spirit is perfected and they have passed the tribulation of Yin Fire, can become a Ghost Immortal.

The pure spirit cannot live forever, cannot comprehend the Great Dao, fears heavenly fire and yang thunder, can travel thousands of miles in spirit, but its cultivation limit is locked at the Mahayana stage, and its path to enlightenment has come to an end.

Most of the underworld spirits belong to this category.

Human Immortal (with a clouded Dao heart): One who does not comprehend the Great Dao, but obtains a method within the Dao, and a technique within the method. One uses techniques to temper oneself and intervenes in the mortal world, becoming entangled with the turbidity of humanity, the rise and fall of dynasties, and the wishes of all beings, until the path of the Dao is exhausted.

Earth Immortal (Free and Unfettered in the World): After a cultivator reaches the Mahayana stage, instead of facing the perilous tribulations of wind, fire, and thunder, they seek out a spiritual vein of heaven and earth or a blessed land and use a secret method to merge their primordial spirit with the earth's veins, becoming the master of that land and attaining longevity and freedom, thus becoming a resident Earth Immortal.

Zhen Yuanzi is the ancestor of the Earth Immortals, an ancient great being, and the founder of the Earth Immortal lineage; he is no ordinary being.

Immortals (Heavenly Register of Merit): The mainstream of the Heavenly Court. Cultivators who accumulate a great deal of merit, or whose roots are extraordinary, are appreciated by the Heavenly Court, are bestowed with a Heavenly Register, and are guided to the upper realm through the Reception Platform, where they are granted divine positions and rank.

One's future is tied to one's rank; if one wishes to become stronger, the only way is to compete for a higher-ranking divine position.

Its own upper limit is already set, with the highest being the Mahayana stage.

During the Mahayana stage, by borrowing a high-grade fruition, one's combat power can reach the realms of Celestial Immortal and True Immortal.

The vast majority of celestial soldiers, generals, and star officials belong to this category. This is the most cost-effective, but also the most restrictive, path.

Celestial Immortal (Ascension and Transcendence): When a cultivator's Taoist practices are perfected and their life force is integrated, they overcome the three calamities of wind, fire, and thunder with great perseverance, supernatural powers, and magical strength, shedding their mortal form and transforming into a Celestial Immortal.

This is the most orthodox, the most difficult, and also the path with the greatest potential.

Those who do not enter the Heavenly Court are considered wandering immortals.

Those who are disciples of the Three Pure Ones are called Da Luo, those who are not disciples of the Three Pure Ones are called Tai Yi, and those from the West are called Da Jue.

For them, divine titles were icing on the cake, not a necessity. Nezha, Yang Jian, and Chen Jiao were all outstanding examples of this.

Only celestial beings have the hope of glimpsing the realm of primordial chaos.
