After leaving the Mage Association, Luo Xing didn't head straight for the dojo. Instead, he made a detour and went to the Holy Star Auction House.

He needed to stock up on supplies for his upcoming trip.

As soon as he stepped through the luxurious doors of the auction house, a manager in uniform came up to him and immediately recognized Luo Xing.

"Mr. Luo, what would you like to order today?" The manager's smile was very bright.

Luo Xing stroked his chin. "Give me three sets of mount items, and make sure they're of good quality. Also, give me fifty bottles each of high-level recovery potions, mana potions, and status ailment removal potions, and a hundred of each type of Gulu Ball."

In this world, elves of a sufficiently large size can be ridden, but unlike in the game, they must wear specially made windproof saddles and magical reins, otherwise the rider can easily be thrown off at high speeds.

The manager worked quickly, and in less than ten minutes, everything Luo Xing needed was ready. He took the black gold membership card, swiped it, and paid. His newly acquired spatial ring was stuffed full of supplies, which made Luo Xing feel much more at ease.

After leaving the auction house, Luo Xing followed the map navigation and arrived at the edge of the old town of Luo City.

"Qingfeng Mountain Starlight Dojo." Luo Xing looked up at the antique-style plaque in front of him.

The place looks completely different from a typical magic dojo. With its blue bricks and gray tiles, and two stone lions at the entrance, it looks like a traditional martial arts dojo.

Luo Xing pushed open the heavy wooden door and walked through the front yard.

The courtyard was paved with bluestone slabs, and several old locust trees swayed in the wind. In the center of the open space, four or five young people dressed in exercise clothes were lined up and practicing Tai Chi.

Standing directly in front of them was an old man wearing a gray Tang suit.

Luo Xing looked closely and realized that the face looked somewhat familiar.

He recognized the old man; it was the same old man who had sparred with Wu Tianxiong in the park before. Now, the old man was standing with his hands behind his back, slowly and methodically correcting his student's Tai Chi movements.

"Grandpa, is the Starlight Challenge here?" Luo Xing put his hands in his pockets and strolled over.

The old man in the Tang suit paused, turned his head, and looked Luo Xing up and down a few times, revealing an approving look.

"You're the promising young talent Old Wu always talks about, aren't you?" The old man chuckled, putting his hands behind his back. "Today's the first day of the Starlight Challenge, and you've come to challenge us. Ready?"

Luo Xing patted his chest and smiled, "Always ready. Sir, shall we?"

The old man shook his head and wagged a finger: "Young man, don't be so hot-tempered. If you want to challenge me, you'd better see if you're qualified first."

He turned around and pointed to his four disciples who had stopped what they were doing to watch the commotion.

"Choose one of my four apprentices at random. If you beat him, I'll spar with you some more." The old man's tone carried a hint of testing.

Luo Xing glanced at the four men and casually pointed to the tallest and most muscular young man with a buzz cut: "Him."

"Wu Hao, step forward," the old man called out.

The young man with the buzz cut who was called out strode forward, his eyes revealing an eager excitement.

The old man walked to a stone pillar and pressed his hand on the head of a lion.

"Boom!"

As the sound rang out, the bluestone slab in the center of the courtyard suddenly split open to both sides, and a square arena rose up from the ground, surrounded by elastic ropes, looking like a boxing ring.

"Go up there." The old man retreated to the edge of the arena.

Luo Xing and Wu Hao flipped onto the arena and stood at opposite ends.

Wu Hao clasped his hands in a standard martial arts salute: "Wu Hao, please enlighten me!"

Luo Xing also abandoned his nonchalant demeanor and returned the greeting with clasped hands: "Luo Xing."

"The game begins!" the old man, acting as referee, gave the order.

Without the slightest hesitation, Wu Hao tossed a blue ball with his backhand.

Welcome to a vast collection of novels for you to explore!

A flash of white light appeared, and a plump, one-eyed seal holding a small knife appeared in the scene. It wore a red scarf around its neck and had a fierce look in its eyes.

"Come out, little stone." Luo Xing also threw out his Poké Ball.

As the light faded, the upgraded Ami Ying landed steadily on the arena. Its round body was a size larger than before, and its domineering aura instantly spread out.

"Gurgle!" Little Stone cried out, stomping its short legs hard on the ground.

The skill tablets absorbed the night before took effect immediately.

"call"

A sudden gust of wind swept across the arena, whipping up sand and dust that instantly enveloped the entire arena in a sandstorm. A sandstorm had formed!

The sandstorm lashed against the SEALs, making a crackling sound, and their health began to drop slowly at a visible rate.

Wu Hao's expression changed. He originally thought Luo Xing was just an ordinary senior high school student, but he didn't expect that Luo Xing would use a field skill that could change the weather. Moreover, the oppressive feeling emanating from this stone spirit was ridiculously strong.

"We can't delay! SEALs, use Power Boost!" Wu Hao decisively issued the order.

The SEAL's muscles bulged, and a light blue glow flowed around its body, instantly boosting its physical attack power.

"Strike first! Charge!" Wu Hao roared.

The SEAL waved its fists, using the propulsion of the water flow to tear through the sandstorm like a blue cannonball, heading straight for the small stones.

Luo Xing stood on the edge of the sandstorm, his expression calm, without even moving a finger.

"Little stone, mud armor."

"Gurgle!" A large amount of mud appeared on Ami Ying's body, quickly spreading across its surface and solidifying into a thick layer of yellowish-brown armor.

"Bang!"

The SEAL's fist landed on Ami Ying with a dull thud. Mud splattered, but it didn't cause any damage.

Wu Hao was somewhat shocked; this defensive power was simply too exaggerated.

"Seal Warrior, create distance, use water-based skills, Bubble!" Wu Hao hurriedly changed tactics.

The SEAL quickly retreated, opened its mouth, and sprayed out a large, dense stream of light blue foam. The foam traced an arc in the air and struck the small stone precisely.

Water-based systems are strong against ground-based systems; however, once the bubbles dissipated, the little stone was unharmed.

Luo Xing yawned, feeling that he had warmed up enough.

"That's the end. Little Stone, Singing Sand Trap."

A golden light flashed in Ami Ying's eyes, and she slammed her hands down on the ground.

"boom!"

The arena beneath the SEALs' feet trembled violently, and two massive rocks burst forth from the ground without warning, like a giant pair of pincers, clamping down hard from both sides.

"Get out of the way!" Wu Hao exclaimed.

But the rocks closed in too quickly; the SEALs didn't have time to react.

"Bang!"

The two massive rocks collided with a deafening roar. Although

The boulder shattered into sand and scattered, and the seal warrior's eyes rolled back. On the ground, they were completely incapacitated.

The entire place fell silent. The other four disciples were somewhat shocked, because Wu Hao was the strongest among them, yet he was killed in one move.

"Hahaha! Good! Good lad!"

The old man's laughter broke the silence. He stroked his gray beard, his eyes full of admiration, and strode to the edge of the ring.

"No wonder Old Wu keeps talking about you all the time. Do you need a break, or should we start our Star Showdown right away?" the old man asked with a smile.

"No need to rest, let's get started."
