The other person held him tightly.

Qin Shou noticed her pale face. She was gritting her teeth and trying her best to hold back her emotions, but when she looked into his eyes, they were warm and smiling.

Qin Shou was quite taken aback, realizing that she had taken the blame for him.

Egg yolk had splashed onto her back, staining her pretty dress.

Qin Shou frowned, and his eyes instantly turned icy cold.

She noticed that Qin Shou silently wiped the egg liquid off her back with a tissue.

She knew that Qin Shou was feeling sorry for her.

But she also felt sorry for him.

Qin Shou's lips curled slightly. He was gentle with her, but when he looked up at the hater who had thrown rotten eggs, his expression turned extremely cold.

Qin Shou walked step by step toward the hater.

The haters were clearly panicked.

She hadn't expected Qin Shou to not flee, but to fight back.

"You don't have to like me, but please don't hurt people." Qin Shou looked down at the girl.

Seeing everyone's attention focused on her, the hater felt a little insecure, but still retorted defiantly: "So you think you can hurt others?! You imposter, you gained success by imitating LJ, but what did LJ get? Can't you have your own unique style? You're even proud of eating human flesh buns?!"

As soon as the haters started stirring things up, passersby nodded in agreement.

Some of them also like LJ and want to speak out for LJ, but their behavior is not as extreme as this hater's.

Upon hearing this, Qin Shou did not hurl insults, but instead let out a soft laugh.

The laughter sounded absurd to the haters.

Just as she was wondering what was going on, she heard Qin Shou's deep voice again: "I eat human flesh buns? It's all me, I'm imitating myself, isn't that ridiculous?"

"What are you talking about?" The hater was taken aback, staring at Qin Shou in astonishment.

"I am LJ." Qin Shou stared coldly at the haters.

These words shocked everyone present.

Even the haters' expressions turned quite ugly.

She had no idea that Qin Shou would say something so surprising.

She considered many possibilities, but she never saw that Qin Shou and LJ could be the same person.

"No, that's impossible, you're just kidding, right!" The hater gave a dry laugh. She felt that this news was like a bolt from the blue, making it particularly hard to accept.

"With the media present, why would I lie to you? Besides, my agent can testify for me," Qin Shou replied coldly.

Lu Mengyao chimed in, "Yes, I can testify that Qin Shou is LJ."

"You two are just putting on an act, aren't you? Since LJ isn't showing up, you can say whatever you want!" The hater's eyes gleamed. "LJ is so famous, why didn't you debut as LJ? Why did you start as a newcomer? That doesn't make sense!"

Seeing the haters still struggling, Qin Shou burst out laughing.

A hint of sarcasm flickered in his eyes as he addressed the haters: "Just because I'm participating in a music competition, and I have LJ's advantage, makes the competition unfair. Besides, I'm starting all over again. Is that so hard to understand?"

The hater's heart skipped a beat, and before he could refute anything, he heard Lu Mengyao's voice continuing.

"LJ isn't dead. Someone is impersonating him. Do you think LJ would just sit idly by? So there's only one truth: you not only hurt Qin Shou, but you also hurt your favorite idol!" Every word Lu Mengyao said was like a sharp sword piercing the heart of the haters.

The hater desperately tried to shake her head in denial, but multiple voices around her cruelly reminded her of this.

"I was wondering why Brother Qin and LJ's voices sounded so alike. Turns out they're the same person! As a true fan of LJ, didn't you even know that?"

"Qin Ge is so handsome! I really dislike these brainless fans who are always stirring up trouble. Well, now they've proven them wrong. Qin Ge is just trash, so awesome! My two favorite celebrities are the same person, so I don't have to worry about switching allegiances anymore!"

"You keep saying you love LJ, is this how you hurt her? This is so extreme and disgusting. I just filmed it and will post it online. You're going to become famous, just wait to be criticized!"

This really upset the hater, and tears streamed down her face.

"No, I genuinely like LJ, sob sob, I never imagined things would turn out like this!"

"Waaaaah, I really didn't know LJ was Qin Shou."

"If I had known, I definitely wouldn't have hit him!"

"Don't film me, I was wrong, I didn't mean to!"

Qin Shou hadn't uttered a single threatening word, yet he had already made the girl cry with sorrow.

She was truly remorseful, pleading humbly before Qin Shou: "LJ, I'm so sorry, sob sob, please forgive me? I regret it. I should have figured things out before I acted. I'm still a freshman in college, my parents will kill me if they find out!"

Qin Shou's eyes, however, were icy cold.

He knew the girl was only upset because she was afraid of being ostracized by netizens. Only she knew whether she was truly repentant.

"Let's go." Qin Shou didn't want to get involved in this mess. He didn't care what others thought and insisted on taking Lu Mengyao's hand and leaving in front of everyone.

All he wanted right now was for Lu Mengyao to take a shower, change her clothes, and feel comfortable; that was more important than anything else.

"We still have activities to do! I'm fine!" Lu Mengyao whispered a reminder as she watched Qin Shou pull her away.
