After several unsuccessful attempts to contact the Governor's Office, the adjutant decided to temporarily assume the role of the army's commander-in-chief to prevent others from noticing the problem.

Yuri, the captain of the guards responsible for protecting Liu Yi on the day of the assassination, returned to Upper Nest with several trusted men via the space elevator to see what had happened.

To fill these vacancies, many noble families fought each other fiercely, with the intensity of their battles rivaling that of the imperial army's fights against traitors.
