But just as he raised his hand halfway, the guards around him struck him on the back of the knee with the butt of their rifles. The powerful impact caused the man's knees to buckle, and he fell to his knees on the ground.

Seeing the tense soldiers, Xiao Yi waved his hand, signaling them to put down the carbines they had already loaded.
