The Last Sentinel

"This is no longer a simple internal conflict; it's a problem stemming from both internal and external difficulties. A single-minded approach has backfired, leaving us stuck on two fronts!"

"Sigh, we can only blame Zhao Donglai for being too soft-hearted. If he had wiped out all the second-generation rich kids earlier, would we have this problem of lingering harm today? If it were me, I would have gathered all the second-generation rich kids together and wiped them all out in one go! Instead, I let a bunch of them go like he did!"

"Now look what's happened! Those escaped second-generation members of the Earth Alliance have started their counterattack and are trying to crush us! Look at the situation outside now. They've spread the Human Alliance's information throughout Japan. Over two hundred million people know about our existence and are strongly demanding that we unlock the Pangu Lock, restore their memories, and reclaim their property. They even claim that we've seized their assets. The situation is in complete chaos!"

"These guys are experts at internal strife, but complete idiots when it comes to fighting outsiders. Ask them to fight the Sabite aliens and they wouldn't utter a single word. But they're incredibly good at plundering their own people's property and resources!"

Inside the captain's cabin, the cabinet members, Kuafu, Wubudu, and the Wolf King all wore furrowed brows.

Just then, Haotian's image appeared.

Kuafu hurriedly asked, "How is it, Haotian? Have you resolved the technical issues?"

Haotian said, "The technology is fine, it's just some key corrections, which I've already taken care of. The problem now is that over two hundred million people across the four major islands of Fusang know about the existence of the Human Alliance. They are demanding the unlocking of the Pangu Lock and the restoration of their contributions and assets from the 1999 Star Wars. This chaos is getting bigger and bigger, and if it gets out of control and spreads to all of humanity, the consequences will be unimaginable."

The Wolf King's eyes were icy. "So what if there are two hundred million people? We killed eighty million in the Battle of Tokyo. Killing another two hundred million isn't a big deal!"

Wu Budu asked, "What does Old Wolf mean?"

The Wolf King scanned the three of them. "If you don't want to be sinners, I'll be the sinner of history. I'll take the Kunpeng and slaughter all two hundred million people, and while I'm at it, sink the entire nation of Fusang to the bottom of the sea!"

Kuafu coughed and said, "Lord Wolf King, please calm down. This isn't about who's to blame; it's about resolving our current resource predicament. When Hughes was in power, those second-generation rich kids went on a rampage, falsifying accounts. Everyone thought the resources could last at least ten or twenty years, but who knew they'd only last three months! Even if the two hundred million people outside don't cause trouble by dividing up the family property and resources, our internal strife won't last much longer!"

"Resources, resources, and more resources!"

Is there a way to quickly acquire resources?

"Hughes used to have a secret passage through which he could smuggle a lot of space resources, but after Hughes died, there were no clues about this passage."

Just as the bigwigs were looking at each other in bewilderment, two beams of light appeared, revealing Zhao Donglai and a gentleman in an evening suit.

Zhao Donglai said, "Sorry, I had to report to my master, so I'm a little late!"

Haotian hurriedly said, "The two hundred million people causing trouble outside are a minor issue; the key is that they are acting voluntarily. Our Human Alliance's internal resources have been severely depleted by those second-generation rich kids, and we can only sustain ourselves for about fifty days at most. We must use the secret passages to obtain resources."

Zhao Donglai pointed to the gentleman beside him and said, "His name is Jerry. He was a smuggler in Hughes's previous smuggling route. I begged my master to catch this rat! If you have any questions, just ask him."

Jerry, looking haggard, hurriedly explained, "Everyone, please don't look at me like that. I may be a smuggler, but I'm not a god. As for your resource shortage, I've already followed Lord Hughes's dying wish and found your Human Alliance sentinel, Ye Feng. I gave him a ship to go to the Dark Matter Universe Grand Line to gather resources! I even gave him a considerable sum of capital! I've already done my best!"

Zhao Donglai said, "If you're really going to put in the effort, you should be involved in smuggling with the sentries, not just sitting at home watching!"

The Wolf King said, "So in the end, it's you who's causing trouble! You're trying to cut off our resource supply!"

Wu Budu said, "You're one of those accomplices and lackeys of those second-generation rich kids who were let go! Are you trying to overthrow the Human Alliance?"

It has to be said that the older generation's fighting style was truly ruthless. A few big hats came crashing down on Jerry, instantly scaring him so much that he couldn't take care of himself.

Jerry knelt down with a thud. "Gentlemen, it's not that I don't want to go with the Sentinels, it's just that your galaxy is unreasonable! There are too many enemies outside your galaxy, unlike our Warhammer Universe. We in the Warhammer Universe can be arrogant and domineering, but everyone outside your galaxy is like a father figure. None of the Nine Sequences are easy to mess with. The current Void Ancestor Sea is incredibly powerful. The laws of the Unending Era are even more rigorous than those of the Terra Empire of the Bit One Empire. I myself am a wanted criminal in the Void Ancestor Sea. If I go out, I will only implicate the Sentinels. I am truly thinking of the Sentinels..."

Wu Budu said, "If you truly cared about us, you should be willing to sacrifice yourself. You could have used yourself as capital to give to the Sentinels, letting them exchange you for money from extraterrestrial forces to replenish our resources. That would have made you a capable person. But what did you do? You tricked the Sentinels out there, and now they're probably suffering countless setbacks!"

Jerry said, "It's normal to get discouraged. Who doesn't get a good lesson when they go into space? As the saying goes, seeing the power of the outer universe is a great learning experience!"

The Wolf King slapped Jerry across the face. "You little bear! The Human Alliance is starving and has no resources to sustain it. Should I throw you into a nuclear fusion reactor to generate electricity?!"

Jerry covered his face, looking aggrieved. "Sir, this isn't my fault!"

"It's not your fault, it's my fault!" Wu Budu raised his hand and slapped her hard across the face again. "You guys have several boats, can't you take the initiative and go out and bring back some resources?"

Zhao Donglai walked over, and Jerry subconsciously took a few steps back, covering his face as if afraid of getting slapped again.

Zhao Donglai kicked him right in the chest, saying, "Back then, to protect you Terra immigrants, Earth went to war with the Sabitians. Now, taking even a little bit of your resources is like taking your lives!"

Just as Kuafu and Haotian were itching to punch him, Jerry hurriedly said, "No, stop! There's news! News from the Sentinels!"

Upon hearing this, the cabinet members halted their offensive.

Jerry hurriedly raised his hand and waved it, and a hazy dark matter screen appeared, revealing a black shadow of Ye Feng in front of everyone.

Jerry asked hurriedly, "Is it Ye Feng?"

The voice on the other end said, "It's me, Sentinel Ye Feng. I'm on my way back and will arrive on Blue Star in about an hour!"

Upon hearing that Ye Feng had returned, Jerry felt as if he had been given a new lease on life and hurriedly asked, "Ye Feng, that resource..."

"The resources are in place!" Ye Feng said. "This trip has been quite fruitful!"

Everyone's face was filled with joy. Wu Budu couldn't wait to ask, "Little Ye, this trip must have been tough! Were you injured?"

Ye Feng said, "There are certainly some difficulties and risks, but no injuries!"

Jerry said, "I don't believe it. It's so dangerous outside. The Unending Era, the rule of the Void Ancestor, the Nine Sequence Life Forms, all sorts of monsters and demons on the Grand Line, and you're not hurt at all? That's impossible! You must have witnessed how powerful it is outside!"

"No! What you said isn't accurate!" Ye Feng firmly interrupted Jerry. "I have indeed witnessed the power of the outside world, but those outside have witnessed my power even more! And I have witnessed my own power even more! The outer universe is indeed difficult to deal with, but fortunately, I am not an easy opponent either! Hahaha!"

These words were followed by hearty laughter echoing in the command room of the Kunpeng.

"Now you've seen how powerful things are out there!"

"No! I've seen how powerful I am now!"

"This universe is not easy to deal with!"

"Fortunately, I'm not someone to be trifled with!"

Wu Budu's lips curled into a smug smile. "What's that saying again? Old Wolf."

The wolf king said in a low voice, "Wolves travel a thousand miles to eat meat, dogs travel a thousand miles to eat excrement."

Wu Budu looked at Jerry, "Even a mouse wouldn't dare show its face for a thousand miles!"

Zhao Donglai, Haotian, Kuafu, and the others burst into laughter!

"Get ready to receive the sentry!"

"Notify the Speaker!"

"Open up the skies above Tokyo, let the spaceship appear directly in front of those two hundred million people, and let them know what true power is!"
