The Wizard: Starting with Infinite Part-Time Jobs

"Forget it, let's go back and take a look. The people in this wizarding organization aren't quite right. Many of them don't follow the right path."

Leon sighed, waved his hands, and a wand appeared in his grasp.

Leon pulled out his wand, and with a few flashes, he was back in the classroom thousands of meters away.

His body traced arcs through the air, and his wand created a small whirlwind as he waved it.

In an instant, he saw the pale blue runes on Aiden's arm.

Aiden was jumping around the classroom, his body as agile as a monkey, leaping onto the table one moment and bouncing onto the chair the next.

The fat wizard Sig and the thin wizard Anlie had shouted themselves hoarse, their voices becoming hoarse, and their faces flushed red with excitement.

"???"

"What's going on?"

Leon cast a spell directly at Aiden. With a powerful swing of his arm, a black beam of light shot out from the tip of his wand, instantly striking Aiden and freezing him in place.

"Lord Leon, I've already inscribed the rune, but my body isn't used to it. I feel lightheaded," Aiden said, panting, beads of sweat forming on his forehead, his face pale.

"I was careless. The effect of this [Lightness Rune] combined with my newly acquired special talent is even stronger." Aiden thought to himself that he was in trouble, and unconsciously waved his hands a couple of times.

My body almost floated up and crashed into the shelf next to me. I quickly steadied myself and thought to myself.

"How is this possible??" Leon's eyes widened, his eyebrows raised high, his face full of shock. He tugged hard at his beard, wincing in pain.

If Aiden hadn't been part of his own organization, Leon would have had the urge to grab him and dissect him.

His hands flailed wildly in the air, as if trying to grasp this incredible situation.

Aiden's mind raced, his brow furrowed, and his lips pursed.

He originally wanted to keep a low profile and stay out of trouble.

But he didn't expect to master the rune system so quickly, which he couldn't control, and someone even saw it.

He patted his head helplessly.

Since it can't be hidden, it's better to express it openly.

After all, no matter how much this rune theory is discussed, there are only two runes in the real world.

A knowledge system that has lost its lineage will not make any waves or attract much attention.

Aiden shrugged, trying to console himself.

"Perhaps I'm more talented, Lord Lyon," Aiden said, forcing a smile.

"Junior Brother Aiden, you're too freakish! Junior Sister Annie is already considered exceptionally talented, and it took her a month to inscribe the [Light and Ethereal Rune]." The fat wizard Sig stared wide-eyed, his mouth agape, his face full of envy.

"It also took me half a month. By then I was already a formal wizard. Although the two are not related." Wizard Leon frowned, stroked his chin, and said quietly, tapping his fingers lightly on the table.

"Really? That's truly appalling." Aiden was speechless, scratching the back of his head with an embarrassed expression.

The fat wizard Sig and the thin wizard Anlie were also completely bewildered.

The two looked at each other, then shook their heads together.

"Sit down. All of you, sit down." The wizard Leon was very excited, waving his arms and shouting loudly, his voice trembling with excitement.

"Lord Leon, I can't move right now," Aiden wailed, writhing like a trapped snake, his face contorted in pain.

He was also bound by witchcraft.

He had no doubt that this scruffy first-ring wizard could kill him with a mere flick of his finger, and his body trembled involuntarily.

He looked at the fat wizard Sig beside him.

"You use your strongest magic on this target. I'll demonstrate," said the wizard Leon, crossing his arms.

"No problem, Lord Lyon."

The fat wizard Sig nodded.

He pulled out his wand and began to wave it, drawing arcs in the air as he chanted incantations.

"Zero-ring trick, water gun technique!" the fat wizard Sig shouted.

Soon, a blue water gun shot out, making a "whooshing" sound, and hit the target.

The number 12 appeared at the top of the target and flashed twice.

"The power level is 12 Hz. A standard mid-level wizard apprentice," Wizard Leon said calmly, a faint smile on his face.

The skinny wizard Anlie also tried it. He took a deep breath, quickly formed hand seals, and then unleashed a wind blade.

The wind blade flew out with a "whoosh" and hit the target, delivering a power value of 13.5 Hz, causing the target to shake slightly.

Aiden was also somewhat eager to try.

He rubbed his hands together, an excited expression on his face, then chanted for a while before unleashing his elemental magic arrow.

The magic arrow flew off shakily and hit the target, where the number "0.3" appeared.

The numbers are almost illegible.

Aiden: "..."

The smile on his face froze instantly, and his mouth gaped open.

The room was completely silent, save for the faint sound of breathing.

"Damn it. This is so awful."

"Initial mental strength can be compensated for at a cost, it's alright," the wizard Leon comforted, a gentle smile on his face, his hands making a reassuring gesture in the air.

He then threw a ring of fire directly at the target.

The ring of flames whooshed and carried a scorching heat as it struck the target.

The number "27000" appeared on the target, and the number was so bright it was blinding.

Aiden's eyes widened, his mouth gaped open wide enough to fit an egg, and he felt an urge to smash his head against a wall.

Damn it, I never imagined there was such a huge gap between him and a formal wizard!

He fired at 0.3 Hz, while the wizard Leon fired at 27000 Hz.
