Yu Jiusi was led inside, followed by an ugly little mongrel.

They arrived at the front hall of a villa. The person who had led the way stood at the door and did not go any further, but simply gestured for Yu Jiusi to go inside.

Yu Jiusi glanced at it, then stepped inside without fear. The villa was decorated in a luxurious and exquisite style, but she walked straight in without looking to the side the whole time.

There were only two people in the large living room, one of whom was sitting in the main seat and seemed to have been waiting for a while.

Seeing the imposing, serious, and unapproachable old man in the main seat, Yu Jiusi was not surprised. Holding the child, she calmly and peacefully stepped forward.

After waiting for a long time with a stern face, the old man Sang's majestic and domineering gaze gradually shattered as the young girl slowly approached.

He looked the person up and down in disbelief, and finally his gaze settled on the toddler in the other person's arms. He was so shocked that he forgot to breathe.

The air in the hall froze for a few seconds before Old Master Sang suddenly slammed his fist on the table and roared, "Absurd!"

The news says Sang Wang has a woman, but why didn't anyone tell me they even have a child?!

Standing behind Grandpa Sang, Uncle Zhang was also startled by the sudden low shout. He whispered, "Grandpa, calm down. Don't scare him."

I've been longing for my granddaughter-in-law for so long, and I finally managed to "invite" her here when no one was looking. If she scares her away, she'll come and nag me.

Uncle Zhang, annoyed by the nagging, is trying to smile.

"I'm the one who's frightened now," Grandpa Sang said through gritted teeth, leaning hard on his cane.

"Didn't they say they just met? How come their child is already so big?" Grandpa Sang turned his head and complained to Uncle Zhang in a low voice, his eyes wide with anger and shock.

Uncle Zhang leaned slightly forward, his smile still kind and amiable. "Is it possible that that's not the young master's child?"

Grandpa Sang's angry expression froze, slowly turning into terror. He glanced at the well-behaved little girl not far away, then moved closer to Uncle Zhang and asked in a low, fearful voice, "You mean, my grandson has become a father unexpectedly?"

Zhang Bo paused for a moment, then gave the old man a cold, gossipy smile. "Are you sure you want to hear my answer?"

Grandpa Sang paused for a second, then slowly turned back, straightened his clothes, sat upright in his chair, and looked at Yu Jiusi with a serious expression. His voice was authoritative and powerful, "Do you know who I am?"

Yu Jiusi glanced calmly at the old man who had been muttering to himself before putting on a show of authority, and nodded frankly.

She frowned slightly. This familiar scene seemed somewhat similar to the story her mother had told her before.

"Hmph, at least that little brat has some conscience; he still knows he has a grandfather." Old Master Sang raised his chin arrogantly.

Thinking that Sang Wang had told Yu Jiusi about his glorious achievements, he instantly became arrogant.

Yu Jiusi, who could tell the relationship between the two just by looking at their faces: ...

"Since you already know, I won't beat around the bush. I called you here to ask you a few questions, and you must answer them truthfully." Old Master Sang said slowly, his head held high and his eyes sharp as he stared at Yu Jiusi.

"Please ask." Under the gaze of the superior, Yu Jiusi nodded obediently.

Grandpa Sang hesitated for a few seconds, then quickly asked, "Where did the child in your arms come from? How old is it? Is it a boy or a girl? Have you named it?"

Grandpa Sang's barrage of questions stunned Yu Jiusi and left Uncle Zhang speechless.

Grandpa, these weren't the issues we discussed before, were they? How could you change the subject at the last minute?

Looking into the old man's bright eyes and his curious expression as he craned his neck to get a peek at the child, Yu Jiusi fell silent.

Looking down at the white, tender little dumpling in her arms, the little one chuckled and tugged at her clothes, playing by itself.

Knowing that the old man had misunderstood, she pursed her rosy lips and said softly, "You've misunderstood, this isn't my child."

Grandpa Sang's smile froze again after he had just experienced being a great-grandfather for a short while. He was so shocked that he fell back into the wooden chair, leaned back in Zhang Bo with a look of horror, and whispered something in his ear.

"Old Zhang, that little brat cheated on the girl and even brought his son home! Is my granddaughter-in-law going to be gone?"

"What should I do? Save the mother or the child?"

Exhausted and numb, Uncle Zhang looked at the old man who had begun to think seriously with a forced smile, and said coldly, "Perhaps the young master wants both."

"Scumbag." Old Master Sang was stunned for a moment, then suddenly stood up and angrily denounced him.

"Old man, I told you to watch less short videos and less melodramatic dramas, but you just wouldn't listen." Uncle Zhang was exhausted.

"Art is said to originate from life, so I just did some research beforehand," Grandpa Sang retorted, unconvinced.

"But all you've researched is the mother-in-law/daughter-in-law conflict," Uncle Zhang coldly and ruthlessly exposed.

"Cough cough cough." Grandpa Sang suddenly coughed, then slowly turned back, his gaze towards the little girl filled with a hint of kindness.

"Child, you've suffered so much." Grandpa Sang suddenly sighed and comforted Yu Jiusi.

Yu Jiusi, who had overheard their whispered conversation, blinked and met the old man's sorrowful and self-reproachful gaze. She spoke quietly, "You may have misunderstood again. This is not Sang Wang's child either."

The tears that had been welling up in Grandpa Sang's eyes seemed to recede as quickly as the tide, disappearing instantly. He stared wide-eyed, dumbfounded, "What?!"

"This is the child of an old friend, and I am temporarily taking care of him for some reasons," Yu Jiusi explained softly.

Grandpa Sang was stunned for a moment, then suddenly laughed to save face, "Hahaha... Of course I know, this child doesn't look like any of you, it's obvious at a glance that he has nothing to do with you."

Yu Jiusi & Da Huang: Are you sure you can see clearly from this distance?

Uncle Zhang, standing behind Grandpa Sang, was already numb.

Forget it, I don't want to save it anymore.

Just as the old man was thinking about how to change the subject, Yu Jiusi slowly walked forward with the little dumpling in his arms, revealing the little dumpling's face.

"She seems to like you quite a bit. Do you want a hug?" Yu Jiusi carefully observed her sister's expression and, after confirming that she didn't mind Grandpa Sang, spoke softly.

Grandpa Sang's eyes lit up. Although it wasn't his own child, he couldn't help but like it.

He carefully took the little baby and skillfully held him in his arms, his smiling face showing even more wrinkles. Though old, he was exceptionally kind.

Uncle Zhang couldn't help but lean closer. The little dumpling opened its big, dark eyes like grapes, revealing a few shallow milk teeth as it smiled foolishly, looking incredibly cute and cuddly.

This made the two elderly people beam with joy.

Perhaps overwhelmed with joy at holding the newborn, Grandpa Sang suddenly asked, "When are you planning to have the baby?"

He suddenly wanted to hold his great-grandson.

Uncle Zhang: !!!
