The trolls didn't look like the trolls in Warcraft, which Rhodes used to play. Instead, they resembled chimpanzees, but were much larger, standing nearly four meters tall. The first floor of the inn wasn't even tall enough for them to stand up.

They have three eyes; in addition to the two eyes that normal animals have, they also have a horizontal, half-open eye between their eyebrows.

Many people have studied the troll's eye, but Rhode hadn't read any books on the subject. However, he had heard Baron say that the trolls in this world were afraid of fire and acid but not so much of swords, and that they had strong regenerative abilities. If a warrior with a little magic were to fight a troll, he could only hope that the warrior was stronger than the troll.

After the troll crawled in, the entire hall was filled with its stench. Rhode pinched his nose; the smell was like a strange mixture of blood, urine, and moldy cheese that had fermented for a long time.

One of the burly men who had been blocking the door raised his single-edged axe, roared, and used the Nord War Cry before charging towards the troll. The troll stretched out his arm, and the axe struck it, almost severing it completely. The troll roared in pain, but in the next instant, another troll slapped him hard across the body.

Rhodes, who was at the back of the crowd, felt a strong gust of wind blow past. The burly man with the large axe was sent flying, crashing into the wall and punching a hole in the thick wooden wall. Half of his body was stuck in the wall, and it was clear that he was not going to survive.

Upon witnessing such a horrific scene, everyone in the hall screamed and ran towards the stairs behind Rhode. The person closest to the troll was slammed against the wall.

Rod wanted to run too, but just as he was about to run, he remembered that in horror movies, people who ran upstairs when they encountered danger seemed to die, so he grabbed Aya.

He regretted selling the axe; it would have been much better against trolls than a one-handed sword, and it might even have been able to make a hole in the wall behind him to escape.

However, besides him and Aya, there were two other people left in the hall: one was the mercenary from the Anu Royal Court who lived next door to Rhodes, and the other was the Nord strongman who had blocked the door earlier.

The Nord strongman stared at the two trolls with bloodshot eyes, grinding his teeth. The one who had died earlier must have been his older or younger brother.

The troll with the hand walked up to the mercenary from the Anu Kingdom who was holding a scimitar and attacked him. The mercenary nimbly dodged the attack and took the opportunity to inflict a wound on the troll's waist. Rhodes noticed that the troll's previously injured hand had almost recovered.

"Steppe man, your weapon is useless against it. You need a heavy weapon like mine," the Nord strongman shouted after blocking the troll's attack with his great axe.

The mercenary ignored the Nord and continued to use his agility to deal with the troll. Rhode tried to take Aya and run out the door, but another troll, much smaller and only a little over two meters tall, crawled in and charged at Rhode.

Is this a father and mother with their son? Rod thought to himself as he pushed Aya away.

The little troll rushed in front of Rhodes and swung a paw at him, but Rhodes bent down and easily dodged the attack.

It seemed that their attack methods were somewhat monotonous. Rhodes came to this conclusion after watching the battle for a while and experiencing it firsthand. Every attack was made by using the arm to attack from the side, and they never attacked from the vertical direction.

Taking advantage of the moment when the little troll swung its right hand to the left and couldn't swing its arm back, Rhode circled around to its back from the right and thrust his sword upwards towards the back of its head.

The sword pierced through flesh, and the little troll collapsed to the ground after Rhodes pulled it out. The other two larger trolls didn't react at all, not even glancing at it.

Rhodes looked at the troll on the ground. Its wounds were twitching and healing at a visible speed. It propped itself up on its arms, preparing to get up. When Rhodes saw this, he plunged his sword into it again.

If the troll were replaced by a human, he would probably have stabbed the cerebellum. It seems that even if the troll has cheat codes, he still can't move until his cerebellum has almost fully recovered.

"You just stay here and watch it, keep poking the spot I just stabbed with your short sword, make sure you poke it deep," Rhodes said to Aya, who was standing next to him, stunned with fear.

Aya snapped out of her daze and nodded.

If only we had gasoline, we could just pour it on it and set it on fire.

Rhodes walked toward the two trolls with his longsword. These two trolls were much larger than the previous one, and even if he jumped up, he might not be able to pierce them.

He planned to help the Nord who was already on the verge of collapse against the trolls. This Nord had been fighting the trolls head-on and was now bleeding from his mouth and nose, suffering from severe internal injuries.

"You rest for a while, I'll handle it," Rhodes said.

"No, I will avenge my brother myself," the Nord said stubbornly.

The next moment, the giant axe in his hand was knocked away by the troll.

"I'd better go and rest for a bit first," the Nord said awkwardly.

Before the troll could turn around, Rhode plunged his longsword into the troll's anus and spun it around forcefully, making the surrounding area even more foul-smelling.

The troll let out a huge scream of pain that made Rhode's eardrums ache. Before Rhode could even draw his sword, it turned around.

Rhode rolled away to dodge the troll's furious attack. Watching the troll smash a large table to pieces with its slap, Rhode felt a little scared. If he hadn't dodged it this time, he might have been turned into mincemeat.

After losing his longsword, Rhode put on his brass knuckles and used the Taizu Long Fist technique. After the troll missed an attack, he punched its knee hard. Rhode shattered the troll's knee and it fell to the ground sideways.

Rhodes thought of something: the poisoned gold needles he had won in the lottery. He wondered if the poison would work on trolls. The troll in front of him was immobile, so this would be a good opportunity to test it on him.

Having never learned to use hidden weapons, Rhodes could only cautiously approach. The troll, lying on its side, roared angrily and tried to drive Rhodes away with its strong arm. However, Rhodes skillfully dodged all of its attacks and took the opportunity to stick a poisoned golden needle into its arm.

After letting out a few weak roars, the troll went into a numb sleep, but judging from its still-heaving chest, it was definitely not dead yet.

"Their vitality is truly remarkable; they are unlike any creature that should exist in nature," Rhodes exclaimed.

The Nords who had been resting nearby rushed forward and beheaded the troll. After being beheaded, the troll opened its eyes again and began to move, groping on the ground as if searching for its lost head.

The Nords then severed all four of its limbs. The troll, entangled by the mercenaries of the Anu court, began to roar angrily, its speed and strength noticeably increasing.

After the Nords beheaded the troll, Rhodes immediately ran to the table where the innkeeper had been sitting, grabbed a large jug of wine, and poured it over the troll's torso and head.

The Nord unleashed a flame spell from his right hand, and Rhode wasn't too surprised. There were many adventurers in the Nords who knew how to use the Flame Tongue spell, and it wouldn't do much damage to trolls who were afraid of fire.

Rhodes poured the wine onto the little troll that Aya had been whipping, and the Nord silently walked over and cast a Flametongue spell.

Now they only have one troll left to deal with...
