Greece: I am the master of destiny!

Chapter 29 The Scythe of Life!

At this moment, Atlas's feelings could no longer be described as mere shock.

If Hecate's power of law was incredibly incredible to Him, then the power emanating from Prometheus at this moment was enough to make Him die with His eyes wide open in disbelief.

He stared wide-eyed, his mouth muttering "impossible" repeatedly, and then, as if he had gone mad, he kept shouting "Uranus!"

With such a commotion, and the direct address of the King of Gods, Uranus's gaze should have been fixed on this place long ago, but...

not at all.

This is the westernmost edge of the world, a place devoid of any living beings, where only the maddening voice of Atlas echoes endlessly.

But no matter how He cried out, the great Father of the heavens never cast even the slightest glance his way.

It was only at this moment that Atlas finally understood.

He... has been completely abandoned by Uranus.

While He was in a frenzy, Prometheus, whom He had once looked down upon, stood quietly before Him without even lifting an eyelid.

Clearly, He already knew this would be the outcome.

The black-clad goddess standing behind Him couldn't help but cover her mouth and laugh, her beautiful dark eyes filled with undisguised mockery.

Atlas finally despaired. He glared at the white-robed youth before him with boundless hatred, gritting his teeth as he said, "Prometheus, do you think you've won? Let me tell you, His Majesty will not let you go!"

"You think you can escape punishment just because Gaia is helping you? Once the God-King discovers your plot, your fate will be a thousand times, ten thousand times worse than mine!"

"Even Gaia was eventually punished by the God-King! Do you think you can change all that by having Gaia please the God-King? Don't be delusional!"

Atlas made no attempt to hide the resentment in his eyes. He now fully understood that this was all a scheme orchestrated by Prometheus and Gaia!

No wonder He found Gaia's words strange at first; now that He thinks about it carefully, they are all problems!

But faced with His powerless rage, Hecate chuckled: "And what makes you think we let Gaia get close to Uranus to curry favor with him?"

"Hecate, you talk too much," Prometheus interrupted her calmly. "We should go."

"oh."

Hecate pursed her lips upon hearing this, then made a face at the completely stunned Atlas before following Prometheus away amidst Atlas's renewed, loud curses.

Behind them, Atlas's angry and resentful voice never ceased, but...

No god heard it.

He will be imprisoned here forever, for this is His destiny.

In fact, Prometheus didn't teach Gaia anything. He only had Hecate say one sentence to Gaia, and that sentence was—

"Use softness to overcome hardness, and play to your strengths while avoiding your weaknesses."

Although it was only eight words long, Gaia felt enlightened. After carefully understanding it, she began to regret why she hadn't thought of it sooner.

She knew perfectly well that she was not good at fighting, and that she could only try to use her reproductive power to give birth to a child stronger than Uranus to defeat Him, but the problem was...

Uranus was blessed by the will of the world and gained the power of creation that even the gods could not obtain. How could she possibly give birth to a child stronger than Uranus?

This is clearly the wrong path.

And if she were to confront Uranus head-on, she would inevitably fail.

Gaia was filled with regret for driving Prometheus away. If she had listened to him earlier, perhaps she wouldn't be in such a terrible situation now!

Her children will not be sealed away forever!

Fortunately, it's not too late to salvage the situation!

After receiving guidance, Gaia abandoned all her previous ideas and began to actively cater to and please Uranus.

Uranus was indeed overjoyed and had no doubts whatsoever.

This is how arrogant gods are: having mastered the power of creation, all those who could threaten them were sealed and imprisoned. Uranus didn't believe that any god in the world could threaten him!

Gaia's sudden change in personality led Uranus to believe that Gaia had finally come to her senses and understood that serving Him, the unique king of gods, was the only way out.

And He was willing to give Gaia a chance.

After all, our great Heavenly Father is so forgiving.

At Gaia's invitation, Uranus gladly agreed to the union. The endless sky descended high and intimately connected with the earth, until we were intertwined.

At this moment, the whole world became chaotic, filled with the rhythm of divinity, countless laws collided with each other, and the power of love and desire rose everywhere.

Gaia has never been so proactive in many years.

Uranus grew increasingly excited, showing no restraint in his power and disregarding the fact that it had entered Gaia's body.

However, what He did not realize was that Gaia was not only clinging to Him and not letting Him leave easily, but also constantly demanding His power.

Uranus did not notice anything unusual. The collision and merging of laws is a necessary condition for the creation of new laws, which is normal.

What He didn't know was that Gaia wasn't prepared to give birth to a new god this time.

She restrained her own reproductive laws, and amidst the clash of laws, secretly collected all the power she had absorbed from Uranus.

The union of heaven and earth intensified, and a continuous stream of power flowed into Gaia's body. Gaia responded to Uranus's movements, allowing the two to become even more intertwined so that she could draw upon even more power.

So, after countless years, under the blessing of the boundless power of creation, the new god that should have been born from the union of love and desire between heaven and earth did not appear.

Instead, a scythe combining the power of heaven and earth, and the boundless power of the universe, was used.

This scythe, with its simple and ancient design yet imbued with boundless life force, quietly took shape within Gaia's body and was hidden deep within the earth.

Uranus, however, remained oblivious to any anomalies or the presence of the weapon, still immersed in his pleasure with the Earth Mother.

Only at this moment did Gaia truly breathe a sigh of relief, and a smile quietly appeared on the corner of her mouth.

She couldn't help but recall her conversation with Prometheus, in which she asked him how she could fight Uranus, given the vast difference in their strength and the fact that she didn't even have a weapon!

This is because every weapon created in this world is sensed by the great God-King, making it an invincible enemy.

But when faced with her question, the prophet and the god of fate simply smiled and said to her—

Slaying gods doesn't necessarily require weapons.
