The Return of the Condor Heroes: Starting with a Suicide Note and Conquering All Realms

Chapter 26 Three Laws Combined into One, Zhao Zhijing's Hidden Hand

The second floor of the Sutra Repository.

Moonlight streamed through the windowpane, illuminating the dusty floor. Lin Yuan sat cross-legged on the wooden plank, his eyes closed.

In his mind, the three sets of cultivation methods overlapped and intertwined.

Junyan provides burst damage. The Nine Yin Manual is responsible for consolidating energy. Quanzhen Internal Energy absorbs external spiritual energy and converts it into internal force.

The three are interconnected, forming a closed loop.

Lin Yuan guided a wisp of Junyan into the Quanzhen path.

The high temperature was instantly compressed by the internal force of the Nine Yin Manual.

The heat dissipated, transforming into a drop of dark golden liquid internal energy, which fell into the dantian.

A throbbing pain spread through his meridians. Liquid internal energy flowed along the Quanzhen pathway, filling the void left by the Softening Tendon Powder.

feasible.

The sound of a wooden door bearing rubbing came from downstairs. Footsteps followed, one deep and one shallow.

Lin Yuan opened his eyes.

His golden eyes vanished, replaced by a cloudy gaze. He stood up and, holding onto the stair railing, walked down the stairs.

Yang Guo stood in the lobby on the first floor. He held two hard, dry steamed buns in his hand and placed them on the wooden table with a chipped corner.

"Brother Lin, let's eat." Yang Guo said in a low voice.

Lin Yuan walked over. He didn't look at the steamed buns on the table; his gaze fell on Yang Guo's left leg. Yang Guo was standing to the right, his left leg trembling slightly.

Lin Yuan reached out and lifted the hem of Yang Guo's Taoist robe, pulling up his trouser leg.

Three bluish-purple lumps ran horizontally across his calf. The skin was torn, and yellow fluid was oozing out.

Yang Guo abruptly pulled his leg back and took half a step back.

"I fell down the steps," Yang Guo said, turning his head away from Lin Yuan.

Lin Yuan looked at Yang Guo.

"Zhao Zhijing did it," Lin Yuan stated calmly, stating the facts.

Yang Guo gritted his teeth. He took a deep breath, his eyes reddening.

"He made me memorize the formula. If I mispronounced a word, he would hit me ten times with a ruler. It was the rule of the Quanzhen School that if I didn't memorize the formula, he wouldn't teach me the breathing techniques."

Yang Guo clenched his fist.

"He's tormenting me. Uncle Guo lost face in the main hall, and he's blaming it all on me."

Lin Yuan pulled over a wooden chair.

"Sit down," Lin Yuan ordered.

Yang Guo obediently sat down.

Lin Yuan walked behind Yang Guo and pressed his right hand on Yang Guo's acupoint on his back.

"Close your eyes. Remember the path this heat has taken," Lin Yuan said in a deep voice.

A wisp of the King Flame's internal energy, severely weakened and stripped of all destructive power, was exhaled from Lin Yuan's palm and entered Yang Guo's body.

Yang Guo's eyes widened.

The internal energy travels upward along the Du meridian, passes the Yuzhen point, enters the Niwan point, and then flows downward along the Ren meridian, returning to the Dantian.

This is the most authentic and core Quanzhen Qi cultivation method.

Lin Yuan broke the things Zhao Zhijing was hiding into pieces and stuffed them into Yang Guo's body.

"Brother Lin, you..." Yang Guo was shocked.

"Shut up. Circulate the energy three times." Lin Yuan interrupted him.

Yang Guo immediately closed his eyes and, guided by the warm current within his body, circulated his meager internal energy. After three cycles, Yang Guo opened his eyes; the excruciating pain in his calves had lessened considerably, and his spirits had returned to normal.

"Bang!"

The wooden door of the library was kicked open.

Two Taoist priests in gray robes swaggered in.

The leader was a fat Taoist priest with a face full of fat. Behind him followed a tall, thin man whose eyes darted around.

The fat Taoist priest was carrying a long sword with its sheath still attached.

"Room check! Uncle Zhao has ordered that the Scripture Pavilion is a sacred place, and filth and defilement are strictly prohibited!" the fat Taoist priest shouted.

He walked to the wooden table and glimpsed two dry steamed buns on it.

The fat Taoist priest sneered and swept his hand across the room.

The steamed bun rolled onto the ground, covered in dust.

The fat Taoist priest lifted his foot and stomped heavily on the steamed bun, grinding it twice.

"What kind of food does a sickly person like him eat? It's a waste of Chongyang Palace's food."

The fat Taoist priest looked at Lin Yuan.

Yang Guo suddenly stood up, his eyes blazing with fury.

"What are you doing!"

Yang Guo rushed forward.

The fat Taoist priest stepped to the side and pushed with his right hand. Yang Guo's shoulder took the force, and he slammed into the bookshelf behind him. Several ancient books fell and hit Yang Guo on the head.

"You little beggar, haven't you learned your lesson from Master's reprimand today? You still dare to lay a hand on your senior brother?"

The fat Taoist priest gripped the hilt of the sword and, with a "clang," drew half of the long sword.

The sword blade reflected the moonlight, flashing past Yang Guo's eyes.

Lin Yuan leaned against a pillar. He was hunched over and coughed violently.

He covered his mouth with both hands and leaned forward. He took a half step forward with his left foot, his toes touching a blue brick.

With his right middle finger slightly bent, the fingertip, through the wide sleeve of his robe, aimed at the fat Taoist's hand holding the sword.

Inside his dantian, dark golden liquid internal energy boiled.

A wisp of extremely compressed inner flame shot out silently from the fingertip of his right hand.

The heat flow penetrated the air and struck the hilt of the sword in the fat Taoist's hand with precision.

The high temperature instantly penetrated the wooden casing of the sword hilt, reaching the fine steel blade inside.

The steel softened instantly under the terrifying high temperature and lost its rigidity.

The fat Taoist priest was preparing to fully draw his longsword to frighten Yang Guo. Suddenly, he forcefully pulled his right hand upwards.

The hilt of the sword broke.

The longsword, now disconnected, lost its balance. The blade rebounded violently within the scabbard, slicing through the wooden sidewalls of the scabbard at an angle.

The sharp blade grazed the fat Taoist's right wrist.

"Sizzle!"

The skin and flesh were torn open, and fresh blood gushed out.

The tendons in his right hand were severed.

"Ah!" The fat Taoist priest let out a bloodcurdling scream. He clutched his right wrist tightly with his left hand, blood gushing out between his fingers.

The longsword, broken in two, fell to the ground with a crisp sound.

The thin Taoist priest was terrified.

He didn't see what happened at all; he only saw his senior brother draw his sword, then the sword broke, and his wrist was ruined.

"Senior brother!" The thin Taoist priest reached out to help him up.

Lin Yuan exerted a slight force with the toe of his left foot.

Another stream of intense heat spread rapidly along the cracks in the blue bricks to the feet of the thin Taoist priest.

The moisture inside the bricks was instantly vaporized, causing the brick structure to completely collapse and turn into a pile of loose powder.

Just as the thin Taoist priest took his right step, the blue bricks beneath his feet suddenly collapsed.

He lost his footing, lost his balance, and crashed face down onto the hard stone floor.

"Click."

The sound of the broken nasal bridge bone was clearly audible.

The thin Taoist priest rolled on the ground, covering his face, his face smeared with blood, tears, and snot.

The two were terrified.

"It's haunted! This dilapidated attic is haunted!"

The fat Taoist priest scrambled and stumbled towards the door.

Ignoring the pain, the thin Taoist priest crawled out of the wooden door using both his hands and feet.

The two disappeared into the night, their screams echoing through the mountains behind them.

The library has returned to quiet.

Yang Guo stood there, stunned. He looked at the broken sword on the ground, then at the collapsed blue bricks.

"Brother Lin, this..."

"The weapons of the Quanzhen Sect were made with substandard materials. The bricks were old and dilapidated."

Lin Yuan picked up the broken sword from the ground and threw it outside. "Go and close the door. Continue practicing."

Yang Guo swallowed hard and ran over to close the wooden door tightly.

late at night.

Yang Guo fell asleep leaning against the bookshelf.

His breathing was steady, and the true qi within his body was slowly repairing his injuries.

Lin Yuan turned around and walked into the deepest secret room in the Sutra Repository.

The room was windowless and pitch black.

Lin Yuan sat down cross-legged.

Form a mudra with both hands and place them on the lower abdomen (Dantian).

The three laws have been combined and officially launched.

Dragon's blood boiled.

Dark golden blood was pumped from the heart, rushing into the meridians with terrifying heat.

The power of the Nine Yin Manual descends.

Invisible pressure forcibly restrained this violent force, compressing and purifying it.

The Complete True Internal Energy is activated.

The air inside the sealed room is moving.

The free energy surged wildly into Lin Yuan's pores, transforming into a continuous supply.

The three converge in the meridians.

A large amount of dark golden liquid internal energy was generated. The internal energy washed over the limbs and bones, widening and strengthening the inner walls of the meridians.

The temperature inside the sealed room rose rapidly. The air became distorted.

The dust on the bookshelf was repelled by an invisible force field and pushed away in all directions, forming an absolute vacuum zone one zhang wide.

Lin Yuan's bones underwent changes. Bone density increased dramatically, and muscle fibers tore and remodeled, becoming more resilient. A series of muffled thunderous sounds emanated from his body.

All twelve regular meridians are open. Four of the eight extraordinary meridians are open.

Lin Yuan opened his eyes.

The pure gold vertical pupils lit up in the darkness, illuminating the walls of the secret room.

A terrifying aura, far surpassing that of the Seven Masters of Quanzhen, fully awakened within Lin Yuan's body.

He clenched his right fist, feeling the destructive power contained within his palm.

Outside the door, there came a very faint sound of footsteps.

Someone stopped outside the library.
