Lu Mingfei is transforming into the final boss.

Chapter 11 Behind the Spiritual Path Mingze

"What an interesting world." Lu Mingze floated in the space beside Lu Mingfei. She was now illusory and transparent. In the concepts she knew, describing her as a spirit behind her was perhaps an appropriate way to describe it.

She had only come to her sister's side to ensure that she wouldn't be pulled into Odin's Nibelungen, but she ended up being pulled into this world as well, finding herself right in the middle of this magic circle, next to a smug-looking blond-haired noble knight.

According to the knowledge implanted in her mind, their current situation should be described as something like Servants, historical heroes summoned by the Holy Grail War. The adjective "hero" doesn't suit her at all; she's not that noble. Lu Mingze usually likes to call himself a devil, a little devil who makes people exchange things, which is quite nice.

"Is this the Noble Phantasm?" She raised her hand, mobilizing the surrounding magic to condense into a block. This was probably the element of this world. Through a combination of dragon runes and intuition, she could reproduce all the Word of Power, even alchemy. Alchemy at the level of the Seven Kingdoms was also considered part of her knowledge and thus she learned it.

No, it should be that her older sister would know, so she learned it too. She herself seems to be recognized as part of her older sister's ability and has become one of her Noble Phantasms.

It felt good to her. Being her sister's subordinate was the least of her worries. Her magic supply was also plentiful. The feeling of being pinned to something had disappeared. She was in good condition now. Even if she used her ancient authority to destroy the city in the next second, it wouldn't be impossible. However, there was no need to do so.

"Rebels are everywhere." She raised her hand and activated the Word of Power: Dustless Land, blocking the arm that rushed towards Lu Mingfei's heart. It was probably the type that would touch and then crush the heart. Through observation and analysis, she had already replicated this Noble Phantasm.

While protecting Lu Mingfei, Lu Mingze activated several Word of Power and Blood Source Imprints, analyzing the current situation. Thousands upon thousands of Kamaitachi swarms generated around her and then began to spread outwards from her. Through the information transmitted by the Kamaitachi swarms, she began to construct the structure of the entire city in her mind, and a large amount of intelligence was obtained by her.

At this rate, she would grasp the entire city's structure and the distribution of its magical barriers in just one day. Intelligence is crucial, especially in such an unfamiliar world. She needs to be more cautious than ever before to avoid making a mistake. She doesn't want that to happen.

Especially now that only her sister's body is present in this world, and they can't exchange bodies, only her sister's body will be injured. Given the vast amount of unknown information in this other world, she doesn't want her sister's body to be harmed by those things; she hates the unknown.

"Is this America?" She overheard a conversation among ordinary citizens. "Holy Grail War, Heroic Spirits, Servants, I see, so that's how it is. Is this Fate? Snowfield City? Judging from the location and natural environment, it should be Las Vegas."

Unlike Lu Mingfei, she remembered the plot quite clearly, but that was all. Based on what she knew now, it was different from the version she had seen, and their combat power was not on the same level.

"We've been discovered?" Some of the swarm of weasels she had dispersed disappeared. However, this was within expectations; after all, her method of forcibly scanning the entire city was rather conspicuous. "Well then, let's leave it at that for now."

She scanned about ten percent of the city. Although it seemed quite fast, this was only the simplest part. More complex things, such as the magician's barrier and the mysterious ley lines, were much more complicated. Analyzing those things would take a lot of time. However, constructing a 3D model of the city in her mind didn't take much time at all.

To avoid being directly confronted, she should be more careful in the upcoming battles.

Let's go back to the present.

"That was close! I thought we were going to face the enemy head-on."

The three walked along the city streets at night. Their first goal was to change Mingfei into a new outfit, or at least dry her clothes. Besides, wearing clothes that clearly didn't belong to a local was too conspicuous. If she could become a spirit like a regular Servant, changing her clothes would be easy, even if she were treated like a dress-up doll in a game.

But the problem is, she doesn't.

So I had to settle for second best and buy her some clothes. Then my second goal was to get her a meal.

Theoretically, Lu Mingfei doesn't need to eat. Servants are essentially dead, and dead people don't need to eat. What allows Servants to move in this world is magic power, and Lu Mingfei's magic power is so abundant that it's overflowing. If his judgment is correct, Lu Mingfei can probably draw magic power from the earth to maintain her existence. But even if she can't draw magic power from the earth, her heart alone can pump enough to sustain all her actions.

But she said she was very hungry and had a strong feeling of hunger, so there was nothing that could be done. Ayaka was probably hungry too.

That's the problem.

"What's wrong?" Ayaka Sajou looked at the two people walking on either side of her.

"Ayaka...do you have money?"

Dressed in magnificent armor, she was asked by someone who was probably the king if she had money. It was a very dramatic scene that left Ayaka Sajou feeling both amused and exasperated, especially since this person had previously made outrageous statements on the news, claiming that he would compensate for and repair the opera house whose ceiling had been blown off. That was no small sum.

"Ah...this is my money, but...I probably can't use it...and the amount is a bit much."

Seeing Ayaka Sajou's somewhat helpless expression, Lu Mingfei immediately pulled out a handful of crumpled banknotes from his pocket. It amounted to eleven dollars and fifty cents, enough for a full meal in her hometown, but in America, it would probably be hard to even buy a bottle of mineral water, since it was less than two dollars.

Ayaka Sajou looked at the handful of money, wrinkled and wet from the rain. Although she didn't know what kind of currency it was, she could still read the Arabic numeral 10 on it. She felt a little sorry for this girl who was supposed to be a historical hero. What kind of life had she lived before?

"You guys... never mind, I still have the money."

She didn't have much money on her. If she spent it sparingly, it should be enough to last through the Holy Grail War. It should be enough, right?

"Oh, isn't this the girl from this morning?"
