Chapter 103 Elaine's Christmas Gift

After the professors finished giving their gifts, it was time to give the students theirs.
Among his classmates, besides his four little brothers who always followed him (Ernie, Justin, Hannah, and Susan), there were also Harry, Ron, Neville, Hermione, Malfoy, and Daphne.
These are all people who get along well with Elaine.
There were quite a few people, but fortunately, Elaine had prepared gifts before arriving at Hogwarts.
One Marvel superhero comic book for each person!
Harry received a copy of Captain America, in the hope that he would uphold his beliefs no matter what circumstances he was in;
The movie given to Malfoy is Spider-Man, in the hope that he will understand the principle that with great power comes great responsibility;
Ron was given Iron Man, to let him experience the life of the rich and hopefully encourage him to work hard in the future.
They must have benefited greatly!
Among the previous students were Elaine's good friends, such as Cedric from the same house, the Weasley twins from Gryffindor, Cho Chang from Ravenclaw, and several Slytherin prefects.
However, the gifts these people received were both uniform and random.
"A study manual compiled by Elaine himself," or "A Chinese food recipe."
After nearly two days of running back and forth, Telf (Elevin's owl) finally managed to deliver all the gifts before Christmas.
After giving the gifts, it's time to open them.
Upon waking up on Christmas Day, Elaine couldn't wait to go to the Christmas tree in his dorm room.
There were dozens of packages of various sizes piled up there.
In fact, the gifts had been delivered in batches a few days ago, but Elaine hadn't opened them yet, instead piling them up here, waiting to open them all at once today.
The plush toy, Myrtle, was lying on the sofa next to me reading comics.
That's right, it's a comic book produced by Marvel Comics, currently serialized up to Infinity War.
For the past few days, the doll Myrtle has been living in Elaine's dorm room, using the sofa as her bed and a blanket as her quilt. When she wakes up, she either flips through Elaine's comics or other books, or she wanders around the Hufflepuff common room.
Myrtle was naturally aloof, so this kind of homebody lifestyle suited her perfectly.
Neither the ghosts of Hogwarts nor the young wizards noticed that a ghost named Moaning Myrtle was missing from the castle.
To avoid trouble, Elaine claimed that the talking polar bear doll was his magical creation, without revealing Myrtle's true identity.
When others heard about this, their admiration and respect for Elavin increased even further.
"Is it finally time to open the Christmas presents?" Myrtle's voice came from behind.
"Yes, would you like to take a look together?"
"certainly!"
Myrtle climbed up from the sofa, stepped onto the carpet, and moved closer to Elaine, looking enviously at the pile of gift boxes in front of her.
"You're so popular, you actually receive so many gifts."
"There are at least thirty portions here—no, fifty, I think?!"
Elivin replied matter-of-factly, "I am the pillar of Hogwarts, the leader of the students, and the professors' personal disciple!"
"Isn't it normal to receive more gifts than usual?"
Elaine decided to open the boxes in order.
The first gift was from Professor Sprout, and it contained a pair of dragon-skin gloves and a yellow and black scarf representing Hufflepuff House.
Myrtle chimed in, "Did you know that the Headmasters of Hogwarts usually give their house scarves as Christmas gifts to young wizards?"
"Is that so?"
Elaine genuinely didn't know about this, but thinking about it, it made sense.
In his memory, almost every Hogwarts student had a scarf representing their house.
However, the first-year wizards do not know which house they will be assigned to before the start of the school year, and the school uniforms required by the acceptance letter do not include scarves.
Once at Hogwarts, students would no longer have the opportunity to order custom-made items from outside.
Therefore, this scarf could only have been a gift from the school.
"The school scarves are gifts from the headmasters to all the first-year wizards."
"But these dragon-skin gloves were a personal gift from Professor Sprout—"
Elaine chuckled, feeling a sense of being favored.
He then opened the second gift.
The second gift was from Professor Flitwick; it contained a book called "The Complete Book of Advanced Spells".
The book records more than 200 advanced spells, some of which Eli had learned and some he had not.
Elaine glanced at it and knew the book wasn't cheap; it wasn't the kind of book you could buy at Flourish and Blotts.
Professor McGonagall's gift was a book titled "The Transfiguration Manual".
These are not books available on the market, but rather notes that she compiled and edited herself.
It's worth noting that Professor McGonagall is probably one of the most skilled Transfiguration wizards in the wizarding world today.
The fact that she sent this notebook now speaks volumes about the high hopes she has for Elavin.
Elaine picked up the fourth gift, and the sender's name on it shocked both him and Moaning Myrtle.
"From Snape?!"
"I heard this professor isn't very popular with the young wizards, I didn't expect you to be so close to him!!"
"To be honest, I was also very surprised. I was prepared not to receive a gift from him."
Upon opening the package, one finds a "Complete Guide to Potions," which records the recipes for over 100 potions and more than 300 common potion ingredients.
This stuff is available on the market. It's not particularly rare, but it's comprehensive, like an encyclopedia of potions.
If a wizard wants to become a Potions Master, he definitely needs to buy this book.
"I never imagined that Snape, that greasy-haired fellow, would have such thoughts about me—"
The fifth gift came from Dumbledore and was a snack gift bag.
"Sending snacks?!"
"What does he take me for? A 10-year-old child?"
"This old bee isn't even as diligent as Snape!"
Muttering and cursing, Elaine opened the sixth gift.
The sender's name surprised him again; it was Ron's mother, Mrs. Molly.
Inside the box was a blue handmade wool sweater with a gold letter Y woven into it, along with a note—
"Make sure you get along well with Ron, George, Fried, and Harry!"
The message, though short, was full of care.
It must have been that brief encounter at the train station that made this kind lady remember me.
Indeed, that was the case. Mrs. Molly knew that Elvin was an orphan and was worried that he would feel disappointed if he didn't receive a gift today, so she specially gave him a wool sweater that was unique to the Weasley family.
The seventh gift was from Hagrid: a roughly made flute.
Elaine tried blowing on it a few times, but found the sound loud but not very pleasant, so he put it on the bookshelf as a decoration.
