HP: Wizards at Hogwarts

"Just because it's always been this way, does that mean it's right?"

"It didn't happen before because nobody thought of it or did it."

"But with anything, someone always has to be the first to do it, and I'm willing to be a pioneer and establish a new tradition for Hogwarts!"

Professor McGonagall looked at Dumbledore with a helpless expression.

Dumbledore paused for a few breaths, then nodded and said, "It's alright, Minerva."

"Let's listen to what Mr. Yakut has to say!"

This sudden turn of events caught all the teachers and students off guard.

This was the first time they had ever seen someone give a "freshman speech" at a sorting ceremony, and they found it so interesting that they forgot about their hunger.

All the students stared wide-eyed at Elvin, eager to hear what he had to say.

The Gryffindor table.

Harry frowned, his face full of worry: "What is Elaine up to now...?"

Ron pouted, "He's such a show-off!"

"When wizards talk about Gryffindor, they say that the people there are impulsive, reckless, mischievous, and thoughtless; when they talk about Slytherin, they say that the people there are all bad and Death Eater trainees; when they talk about Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, they say that they are all bookworms and useless idiots."

Professor McGonagall turned to Dumbledore, frantically sending signals with her eyes.
