HP: Wizards at Hogwarts

Chapter 41 The Weeping Myrtle

Ten minutes later, Elaine finally arrived on the sixth floor.

"The terrain at Hogwarts is even more complicated than London's!"

"I almost got lost on such a short stretch of road."

"I'll apply to the school tomorrow to add a few more road signs inside the castle."

Muttering complaints and searching around, Elaine finally found the statue of "Foolish Boris" by the candlelight in the corridor.

"Pine resin wood".

After speaking the command to the statue, the stone wall to the left of the statue slowly moved, revealing a hidden passage.

Elaine entered the passage and was immediately presented with a spacious room.

The entire room was paved with snow-white marble, and a magnificent chandelier filled with lit candles hung from the ceiling, illuminating the surroundings.

Upon entering, high up on the wall directly in front of you hangs a huge oil painting with a gold frame. The painting depicts a blonde mermaid lying on a rock, fast asleep.

There is a changing room on each side, obviously prepared for the prefects who come here to take a bath.

In the center of the room was a huge, rectangular bathtub embedded in the floor, with about a hundred gold faucets inlaid with different gemstones surrounding its rim.

"Whoa~"

"It looks really good!"

Elaine strolled over and turned on the faucet in the bathtub.

In an instant.

Clear, clean hot water, mixed with magical foam bath liquid of various colors and scents, began to flow from the tap.

The moment the two are combined, they immediately create bubbles that are deep purple or light blue.

These bubbles floated in the air, decorating the entire room like a fairytale dream, absolutely beautiful.

Elaine was overjoyed and, too lazy to go to the changing room, took off his clothes and jumped into the bathtub on the spot.

As the hot water soaked his entire body, Elaine felt a strange energy rush from the soles of his feet to the top of his head, instantly washing away the fatigue accumulated from a day of travel and cleaning.

Completely relaxed, I soaked in the hot water for five minutes, and then a deep feeling of hunger came from my stomach.

I'm hungry...

"Luckily, I grabbed some food from the kitchen before dinner tonight, and now it's come in handy!"

Unable to contain his pride in his foresight, Elaine immediately took out a food box from his spatial pocket, cast a "heating spell," and a steaming, fragrant meal appeared before him. He then took out a small can of cola from his pocket and used "ice-shaping magic" to freeze it into ice cola.

He simply enjoyed it.

Soak in the pool for a while, then get up, eat a bite of fried chicken, drink a sip of iced cola, and then soak in the pool again...

"Phew~ That feels so good!"

"Enjoying delicious food while taking a bath is truly one of life's greatest pleasures!"

"If there were a big screen here to show a movie, it would be perfect!"

Just then, an unfamiliar voice suddenly rang out.

"What kind of movies do you like to watch, little wizard?"

Elaine was startled and almost dropped the fried chicken leg in his hand into the water.

He hurriedly looked in the direction of the sound and saw a female ghost with two ponytails tied behind her head and thick glasses on her face looking at him from a distance with a look that seemed both disappointed and expectant.

"You were startled, weren't you?"

Myrtle had most of her body submerged in the water, one hand supporting her chin, and a slight smile appeared on her lips as she successfully startled Elaine.

"You're not the prefect, are you?"

"I've met several of the grade leaders at school before, and you look different from them. Plus, judging by your height, you don't seem like a fifth-grade student."

"but……"

Watching the handsome male magistrates bathe was one of Myrtle's few, if not her only, pleasures.

Tonight, she heard noises coming from the prefectural head's bathroom and thought it was another prefectural head taking a bath, so she rushed over to tease and flirt with him.

When they arrived, they discovered that the person who came was not any of the prefects they remembered, but just a child, and they were immediately disappointed.

But just as she was about to leave, she suddenly discovered...

"You're a bit young, but you're quite handsome!"

With a whoosh, Mommy Swam toward Elaine, creating a huge wave in the bathtub along the way.

Without a second thought, Elaine immediately turned his back and used his body to shield the fried chicken and cola in his hands.

The next second, sure enough, I felt a relentless heat wave slapping against my back.

"It didn't get wet!"

"Thank goodness... I almost couldn't eat it."

Upon hearing Elaine's words, Myrtle rolled her eyes in exasperation: "Being so protective of your food, I bet you're a Hufflepuff student!"

"You guessed right."

Elaine then looked at her. "You're 'The Weeping Myrtle'?"

"Yes……"

"You must have heard about me from those people who bullied me, right?"

Elaine was silent for a few seconds: "...No, I learned about your existence from the boy you were spying on."

Myrtle suddenly realized: "Oh, that's right."

"Handsome male sergeants often come here to bathe, but some of them never come again after seeing me."

excusable.

What normal boy would want to take a bath with an emotionally unstable female ghost?!

"I know, you're thinking I deserve to be hated, right?"

"When I was alive, no one cared about me. They thought I deserved to be bullied and ridiculed. Even when I died mysteriously, no one cared. After I became a ghost, people who saw me would avoid me."

"You're just like them, you won't be coming after today, right?"

With a whoosh, Mommy Swallow swam away from Elaine and began to mutter to herself, her voice even carrying a hint of a sob.

"...Huh?? I've never thought of that before!"

Elaine was completely dumbfounded.

I didn't utter a single malicious word just now!

He felt that Myrtle must have been bullied too badly in her life, so after death, no matter who she saw, she felt that the other person wanted to bully her; no matter what she heard, she felt that the other person was mocking her; even a simple glance made her feel that the other person wanted to escape from her out of disgust.

Simply put, it means you're too sensitive!

"Although I don't know what happened to you, but..."

Elaine put down his cola and chicken wings. "In my opinion, no one deserves to be hated, and I would never laugh at anyone!"

"Discrimination and bullying are the things I abhor the most."

"If anyone dares to do that in front of me, I will beat them so badly that even their own mother wouldn't recognize them."

Myrtle was clearly comforted by these words, and her sobs gradually subsided: "Are you telling the truth?"

"Of course!"

Elaine nodded: "Besides, I'll probably be coming here often in the future."

"If you don't mind, I'd like to be your friend."
