I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts

Chapter 111 I Love Watching Women Fight

Chapter 111 I Love Watching Women Fight

When Louis reached the main hall of the common room, he saw Prefect Flint giving a speech.

The theme is "To unite under His Highness Louis's banner and strive tirelessly for the realization of a Slytherin with all four virtues."

As a Slytherin prefect, Marcus was quite loyal.

After all, Louis's curse isn't something to be taken lightly.

Seeing Louis approaching from the direction of the bedroom, Marcus immediately asked respectfully, "Would you like to say a few words, Your Highness?"

"Well then, I'll just say a few words to everyone." Louis nodded in agreement and walked to the front of the group.

Marcus quickly moved aside, showing great understanding.

"I'll only say two things," Louis said seriously. "First, Slytherin is an elite school, and I hope that you all will become elites in your future studies."

Seeing the slightly troubled expressions on the faces of the freshmen, Louis added, "Of course, the standard for being an elite is not to be proficient in all courses. I understand that people have preferences, and you only need to choose one course that interests you as your main focus."

"Remember, Slytherins don't have boils."

"Secondly, I hope everyone has a pleasant life ahead. Okay, that's all for now. It's getting late, and there's no need to be so tense on the first day of school. Everyone should go and get some rest."

At that moment, Marcus suddenly stood up and passionately proclaimed, "Slytherin students! Remember loyalty!"

"Loyalty! Honesty!" they all shouted in unison.

Louis gestured for Marcus and Draco to stay, and after the other students left, the two of them gathered around Louis.

"Hmm..." Louis thought for a moment and said to the two of them, "Here's what you two do. Go down and investigate the students' basic situation carefully, see what they need, and draft a set of rules for me. You need to have a deep understanding of the students' material and spiritual needs."

"Understood!" they both answered in unison. Then Draco asked hesitantly, "Actually, I know what they need. They probably don't really want to go to evening self-study..."

"These are the rules and regulations proposed by Professor Snape. You tell them that if anyone can persuade Professor Snape, I personally have no objection." Louise shifted the blame onto Snape without batting an eye—he already carried a lot, what's a little more?

Louis is a very considerate person.

Last semester ended abruptly because of Professor Quirrell's affair, so the blame wasn't really placed on him properly. Therefore... it's not impossible to find other reasons to blame him.

The two nodded as if they understood.

"If there's nothing else, you should go back now. I have some things to do here," Louis said, trying to shoo him away.

The two men wisely slipped away, knowing who Louis was waiting for.

A moment later, Catherine and Vitali were seen walking towards them together.

The two girls were even chatting and laughing, not at all like they were about to fight.

Louis followed them to the edge of the Forbidden Forest with a puzzled look on his face. After all, this dimly lit place was more suitable for Catherine to use her skills than the Room of Requirement. Burning down a forest was not a big deal, but setting the castle on fire was not something that could be easily escaped, and even her mother could not bear the responsibility.

"I really didn't expect that on the first day of school, you two would dare to break the school rules and even bring me to such a dangerous place..." Vitalie spoke first, showing no intention of making a move, and instead started chatting.

"Oh, you wouldn't happen to be thinking of taking on the responsibilities of a prefect, would you?" Catherine sarcastically remarked. "I think you're just burping for no reason—you've eaten too many baguettes..."

"I'm very interested in the House Points Headmaster Dumbledore mentioned, and I just don't want to lose points on my first day of school." Vitalie pulled out her wand. "Get ready. Let me see if the title of Queen of Slytherin is truly deserved."

"You're a guest from afar, please go first," Catherine said politely, having prepared herself.

"When in Rome, do as the host does. Please go first." Vitalie gave an elegant ladylike bow.

Catherine didn't hold back either, waving her hand to unleash a disarming spell.

Vitalie effortlessly dispelled Catherine's spell. "Silent casting, not bad."

The two exchanged disarming spells for a while, testing each other, until Louis couldn't help but shout, "Stop fighting! You're not going to kill anyone like this!"

Suddenly, Vitali changed her tactics, turning the leaves that the wind had blown by into several tall metal figures that made a rattling sound as they walked, slowly approaching Catherine.

While using her armor to protect herself from Vitalis's spells, Catherine also took the opportunity to smash several tin men to pieces.

Louis saw one of the iron things' arms spin and fly far away, eventually disappearing to who knows where.

But the real killing blow came later. When the last tin man shattered, it was as if Vitali had added a blasting spell to it. Tin pieces flew everywhere, and one of them even whistled as it embedded itself in the tree trunk next to Louis.

Catherine was the first to bear the brunt of the impact, absorbing most of the fragments. However, when she passed through the field shield formed by her armor, she was instantly pulverized into iron filings, losing kinetic energy and falling onto the grass.

Vitali was extremely skilled in shapeshifting, and under her magic, she possessed an almost endless army of shapeshifters. Catherine handled it with ease, but Vitali seemed to have used almost no effort at all.

"Alright, if you can't show some real skill, then this is the end of it." Vitalie said, her magic whip cracking as it whistled towards Catherine.

Furthermore, when the whip passed over the deformable constructs that Catherine had shattered, the already immobilized debris instantly transformed back to its original form and surged towards Catherine.

The dark green flames swept away the constructs and Vitalis's magic whip. The fire serpent circled around Catherine and coiled around her, flicking its tongue. Its head looked down at Vitalis with ill intent.

Catherine gently waved her hand, and a breeze swept by. The wind fueled the fire, and the fire serpent and the wind, working together, gradually transformed into a raging storm and towering flames.

Suddenly, wind and fire surged together, billowing into the sky. When they reached a height equivalent to several stories high, they turned at an angle and swooped down towards Vitali.

Vitali gently chanted a spell, and azure water surged from the tip of her staff, forming a hemisphere that firmly blocked the fire serpent and the raging wind before the water prison.

Catherine suddenly smiled, and without her making any move, Vitalie loosened her grip, and the wand fell to the ground with a thud. The water prison, having lost its magical support, splashed onto the ground.

Catherine withdrew her Fiery Blaze and Gale, and quickly cast a Cleanse spell on Vitali.

Louis, with his sharp eyes, recognized that it was Catherine who had secretly released the lightning arrow, using the conductivity of the water prison to give Vitalis a mild shock.

It wasn't a light shock; Vitalie was so struck by the lightning bolt that her whole body went numb and she couldn't hold her wand. But it wasn't a serious injury either; the lightning bolt didn't cause any real damage.

"You won." Vitalie was stunned for a long time before she spoke.

This was the first time she had encountered someone her own age who could defeat her, and it was indeed a little hard for her to accept at first.

Catherine knew she had gotten the better end of the deal with Louis; otherwise, defeating Vitalis would have been no easy feat.

"Just call me Cathy," Catherine said casually, though she had already truly acknowledged the woman's strength in her heart.

She had never met anyone her age who could be her equal in strength and ability.

If she could recruit Xiao Lu, it would be an excellent asset in his pursuit of great things! She thought to herself.

"Call me Vivi. You're really amazing, Casey." Vitalie's eyes burned with fighting spirit, that long-lost desire to become stronger had returned: "But... I won't give up."

"I look forward to the day you can defeat me, so how about we settle the bet for this duel?" Catherine asked languidly.

Vitalie paused for a moment, then quickly understood what Catherine meant: "Don't worry, I won't renege on my promise."

"Little Deer is short of a secretary, so how about you condescend to help out for now?" Catherine Catherine added to Louis's Slytherin gang.

"Okay." Vitalie glanced at the bewildered Louis, then at Catherine: "Aren't you afraid I'll steal your little deer?"

Catherine chuckled and said, "If you want to be his mistress, I have no objection."

Louis had been a little sleepy watching the two fight, but after hearing what Catherine said, he suddenly perked up.

What? My little darling Cathy actually condoned me having two mistresses?

Catherine noticed his excited expression.

Looking at her meaningful gaze, Louis suddenly realized he needed to eat something good as soon as possible.

Oh no, Barbie Q is gone.

"I'd like to, but I'm afraid someone might get jealous and throw a tantrum," Vitalie teased Catherine sarcastically.

"Good to know." Catherine dispelled the fire snakes coiling around her, and in a show of defiance, took Louis's hand and walked towards the castle.

Vitali stared at the two figures as they walked away, stunned for a long time before finally letting out a meaningful smile.

……

The next morning, when Louis arrived at the Great Hall, he happened to see Snape distributing course schedules to each table.

Unlike the original story where they took Herbology class with Ravenclaw, they actually took classes with Gryffindor.

I guess it's just a small change caused by the flapping of some wings.

Louis didn't care too much. He wasn't particularly talented at herbal medicine—in fact, it wasn't that he couldn't recognize herbs, but that he just couldn't keep them alive.

He must have been a fake Seresian in his past life, because he doesn't even have the talent to grow vegetables!

After a quick breakfast, the students, still recovering from their holiday slump, listlessly left the castle and headed towards Professor Sprout's greenhouse. Even Louis looked dejected.

If possible, he would actually like to be a salted fish.

But circumstances don't allow it; he still has a small family business to inherit and many things waiting for him to do.

He approached the greenhouse and saw the other students standing outside, waiting for Professor Sprout. Just as he entered, he saw Professor Sprout stride in from the lawn, accompanied by Gilderoy Lockhart. Professor Sprout's arms were covered in bandages, and Louis looked in the direction they had come from, noticing several branches of a large willow tree in slings, which puzzled him.

Wait, Harry and Ron didn't crash into a tree this time, so why did the Whomping Willow break again? Could it be that his horoscope was destined to be unlucky yesterday?

Professor Sprout was a short, stocky witch with a plain, patched, worn-out hat over her flowing hair and her clothes covered in dust. In contrast, Lockhart was spotless from head to toe, with a shimmering, smooth blonde hat with gold trim on her head.

When Louis saw his hair, he began to understand why Snape disliked him.

Who told Snape to have such oily hair?

"Oh, hello everyone." Lockhart greeted everyone with a beaming smile: "I just demonstrated to Professor Sprout how to treat the Whomping Willow... Good heavens, I don't know which wicked thing swung out an iron arm with such force last night, breaking several branches of our poor Whomping Willow."

"But then again, I don't want you to mistakenly think I'm better at herbalism than she is," Lockhart added. "I just happened to learn about a few of these strange plants during my adventures."

"Today in the third greenhouse!" Professor Sprout said with a displeased expression, a stark contrast to his usual relaxed, cheerful, and smiling demeanor.

Everyone discussed it with great interest, as they had only been to the first greenhouse and had not yet been to the third greenhouse.

According to the older students, the plants in the third greenhouse are more interesting, but also more dangerous.

The young wizards, fearless and naive, had no idea what danger was. They only remembered the word "fun".

That's true. It's just like when we first encountered physics and chemistry experiments in junior high school. We knew these experiments were a little dangerous, and the teachers gave us countless warnings, but when it came time for the lab class, who remembered all that? Their minds were filled with what experiment they were going to do next.

Professor Sprout took a large key from his belt, and as the door opened, a damp, earthy smell mixed with the odor of fertilizer wafted out of the greenhouse.

Hmm, a strong ammonia smell. Even in the magical world, this kind of fertilizer is indispensable.

There was a floral scent among them, but that wasn't the point. The point was that a smile finally returned to Sprout's face.

Because Lockhart left.

Professor Sprout was getting really annoyed with this bastard. Louis noticed the subtle changes in Professor Sprout's facial expression and a thought suddenly struck him.

Professor Sprout waited until everyone had found their places, then looked around and said, "Today we're going to repot the mandrake. Now, can anyone tell me what the characteristics of the mandrake are?"

Almost instantly, Hermione and all the Slytherin students except Louise raised their hands high.

Professor Sprout was taken aback. Merlin's socks? What was going on?

How come the Slytherin students have changed so much after just one holiday?
